A Coffee For Sharing

AdvantagesRich and smooth tasting, no bitter aftertaste, competitively priced

DisadvantagesThe decaff version loses a little of the rich full-bodied flavour

"...early 1920s. As the name suggests, Kenco is a Kenyan coffee producer who introduced their range of coffee beans to the UK in 1923, by opening up a coffee shop in Sloane Square, London. Shortly afterwards, they introduced a mail-order service (John Gardner (London) Ltd) so that local hotels and restaurants could order direct. The company expanded and many top hotels and restaurants around the country were soon buying their beans. During the Second ..." Read review

Rappor The Rapacious

AdvantagesSmooth and Rich

DisadvantagesCaffeine

"...drink. The maker of Rappor is Kenco which stands for KENyan COffee growers. This company started out in the early 1920's named 'Kenyan Coffee Company' with the aim of bringing the highest quality coffee beans of Kenya to Britain. The first shop was based in Sloane Square in London and supplied a great number of restaurants and hotels in and around London. Funnily enough it wsn't until 1962 that the company shortened it's name to Kenco that we all ..." Read review

More Coffee

Advantagestastes quite nice

Disadvantagessmells awful

"I had guests to stay a few weeks ago and, as a thank you for their lovely time they bought me a big box of biscuits and a huge jar of coffee bless them. So I'm having a cup now, made with milk, it’s quite nice. When I opened the jar to take the usual big sniff (being very careful not to snort it!) I was surprised by the smell. It doesn't really smell like coffee to me, much more like burnt toast! So as you can imagine, I wasn't really looking forward ..." Read review

Rappor - an orgasmic experience in a coffee

Advantagescheap, but looks expensive, pleasant neutral coffee taste

DisadvantagesDoesn't live up to the promise of it's packaging!

"Kenco - a name associated with fine coffee. Rappor - a name suggesting intimacy, conviviality, warmth and snuggling up in front of the fire. Then you look at the price tag and realise that this is a cheap instant coffee! So is it just fancy advertising? Well, the coffee certainly looks inviting. A deep red container, with a label suggesting freshly brewed coffee. The deep red suggests lust, this coffee with engulf us in an intimate moment of ecstasy ..." Read review

Build a rapport with Rappor

AdvantagesYou may become a Kenco chain cuppa drinker

DisadvantagesFrequent loo visits for full bladder

"...my boyfriend came home with Kenco Rappor coffee granules the other day and I am so impressed I have come on here to tell you all about it. The jar itself is quite good looking, a rectangular shape with round smooth edges and made of glass. It is cuddled by a deep metallic burgundy label, which graduates to a red and blue swirl at the front. It has the words: “Kenco Rappor. Bursting with real coffee taste” printed on the front in cream and gold ..." Read review

Rapturous

AdvantagesDeliciously smooth

Disadvantagesnone

"...you like, and I like Kenco Rapport. We switched to this coffee about a year ago or perhaps a little longer before which we used Nescafe. As I recall it was round about the time that gorgeous chick did the Kenco adverts, not that that influenced me in any way. Boy she was hot. Kenco Rapport is a rich full bodied coffee that has the most pleasant aroma. Some coffee's smell a bit harsh and taste even harsher, but rapport is smooth and rich. I like ..." Read review

Get yourself a rappor with your coffee

Advantagestasty

Disadvantagesquite expensive

"...than brown milk. I stumbled across Kenco Rappor by accident when it was on offer. I had run out of coffee and this little red labeled jar was sitting there with a half price label surrounding it. © FIRST IMPRESSIONS © One teaspoon of coffee in an average sized mug creates quite a dark colour. (Just the way I like it). Smell: - (deep inhale with nose in jar) A sweetish coffee smell, it’s actually quite disgusting. Has anyone actually ..." Read review

I've got a good rappor, don't you think?

AdvantagesLovely taste.

DisadvantagesIs a bit more expensive than some coffee's.

"...day I decided upon purchasing Kenco Rappor coffee granules. I paid £2.67 for a 200g jar. The jar it comes in is red. The plastic screw on/off lid is red, and the label is a darker, smoother, sexier red with the named coffee on the front. There is a swirl of blue and red, which adds to the smoothness in the look. What the heck am I on about?! I just think that Kenco are trying to put this kind of image across, that's all!! The granules are quite ..." Read review

Coffee coffee coffee

AdvantagesYou can smell the coffee.

DisadvantagesThe more I drink the more I want.

"...you can do this with Kenco Rappor. I’ve tried lots of brands in an attempt to find the right taste from cheap nasty stuff to expensive sour stuff. Kenco Rappor is an instant coffee, which comes in a square jar with a bright red lid for normal coffee and with a green lid for decaffeinated with Kenco embossed on it. The jar has Kenco Rappor on the front of the label and has all the relevant information address, e-mail address and a free coffee ..." Read review

Great coffee, Smooth taste!

AdvantagesGreat tasting coffee

DisadvantagesMoreish!

"... I was first introduced to Kenco when I was working in one of my jobs, that is the coffee they had there, I was made a cup and I used to be a one and only coffee brand, one of the leading coffee brands, but had Kenco and had to ask what brand because the flavour, so rich and creamy and tasteful. Since then I always stock this one, have been totally converted from the other leading make. This one is not as pricey either and you are getting a great taste. To ..." Read review

The Best Instance of Instant

AdvantagesFull, rich taste

DisadvantagesA bit on the expensive side

"...I try some of his Kenco Rappor. I did, and I was completely blown away. Kenco Rappor has a full, thick flavour which would be better off compared to perculated or cafetiere coffees. The aroma is enough to make your mouth water. It's difficult to describe, but it is enough to wake you up before a lecture/work on even the most hung over of mornings. I don't think the caffeine content is much different to normal coffee, but the smell and taste ..." Read review

Need More

AdvantagesPleasant tasting

DisadvantagesSmells quite bitter when it's in the jar

"I used to drink a totally different kind of coffee until I accidently came across this one in my local supermarket because my usual brand at the time was out of stock. Comapared to other coffee's I drink when not at home, it's by far one of the best tasting coffees on the market. It makes a really wonderfully smooth cup and the granules dissolve really easily,ok so it may smell slightly bitter when you open the jar, but unlike certain other unameable ..."
