COME CHURN WITH ME

Advantages: Churns and Freezes in one
Disadvantages: Bowl has to be frozen for 24 hours before use

...ownership of a brand new Kenwood IM250 Ice Cream Maker…….and wow….after about two months of use…..I am so impressed!!! I wish I had bought one of these years ago. ========================= This ice cream maker has a bowl which has to be frozen for 24 hours before use….but hey…no problem, I store my bowl in the freezer. Before I started to keep the bowl permanently in the freezer I did check with Kenwood's customer care team that this would be ok ...
...ice cream mix, assemble the Kenwood ice cream maker, switch it on so that the paddle is turning, pour in the ice cream mixture and wait…..the instructions say that it can take anything from 15 - 30 minutes, I've found that to be able to use the ice cream straight away, it does take 30 minutes. Plenty of time to put the feet up and have a cup of coffee or tea. ========================= I've not found any ice particles in the ice cream made with ...

Stupid thing to buy when I'd just started a diet!

Advantages: Delicious icecream with no additives
Disadvantages: Only makes small quantity.

I was browsing in Tesco for something to spend my birthday money on and was idly looking at this icecream maker, when another customer, a young woman, came up to me and started raving about it. I probably should have expected that, but I'd thought that the machine itself did the freezing and you did not need to use the actual freezer. I guess you live and learn. NB. you have to dry it very very well inside and out or you'll have a nice crust of ice all over that will inhibit the paddle. ...
