"Waffley" Tasty Fun in the Kitchen!

Advantages: Produces great tasting waffles, easy to clean
Disadvantages: None other than waffles are fattening!

My daughter, Erin, is now 11 and turning into quite the young lady. She loves to "help" me in the kitchen when I'm making the tea, she loves setting the table and washing the dishes and trying to help me cook, although this can sometimes be more of a hindrance! But I don't like to discourage her. For her Christmas I wanted to get her something of her own for the kitchen, something we could use together but that ultimately would be her first real ...
...loves toasted and spread with butter, so I thought a waffle maker would be the perfect gift. I had a look at quite a few different ones but most of them were multipurpose ones, making not only waffles, but doughnuts and toasted sandwiches as well, but I just wanted a plain and simple waffle maker. This was when I came across the Disney Waffle maker. I happened to notice it in Currys, where it was half price, reduced from £19.99 to £9.99. This looked ...

Mickey waffle maker

Advantages: Fun for the children
Disadvantages: Needs to be bigger

What a great idea when making this. Make lunch with a difference, mickey mouse waffles. The children will want more. Makes 4 mickey's at once. It comes with a recipe book as well which is really handy to have around. I find the only fault with this is it could have done with having ethier more mickey spaces or the 4 mickeys should have been bigger. Its a good novelty in the kitchen, gives out a bit of fun on the worktop. At £29.99 its a great ...
...smile. It comes in 2 different colours depending on where you buy it from. Red and silver or Black and silver. Both have Mickey's picture engraved into the silver lid. Has a lid fastner, but doesnt tell you when ready, you have to stay with it. I make waffles and fun mickey toasties as well. ...

Disney Waffle Maker - A family must have.

Advantages: Great Fun and tasty Waffles
Disadvantages: Not very healthy (Oh Well)

...The Waffle maker is by Kenwood and makes 4 mickey mouse shaped waffles. The maker comes with recipes and a quick guide. I only make the basic waffles which are very simple to make. You simply just pore the mixture into the shapes up to the level mark and close the lid, in 5 minutes approx they are cooked and ready to eat. The waffles come out easy using a wooden spatula. The best bit is then cleaning, all you need to do is give a quick wipe over ...
...comes off easily. This is one of the best appliances i have when it comes to cleaning. This item is very big and will take up space when storing but i think its worth the money, my children love it. Trying to find a more healthy recipe now i am doing slimming world. Oh and also mine is red instead of black with i like better. ...

A great time saver for Sunday brunch!

Advantages: Makes a quick and delicious breakfast treat
Disadvantages: No healthy recipes included

I received this Mickey waffle maker as a Christmas present and I have to say that I have found it a great addition to my kitchen. From an English perspective I would say that the waffles that it makes are more like Scotch pancakes than a traditional waffle - I used the basic recipe which is included with the product. The waffle maker is so easy to use, as a weekend treat I would never again bother to get the frying pan to make pancakes with the added ...
...device all you have to do is plug it and wait for a few minutes for it to heat up and you are ready to go. Each mould of the four takes a small ladle full of batter and you then simply close the lid and wait for about 5 minutes. The outcome is four pancakes that are just the right size for a snack. I find that the basic batter makes about 20 pancakes which more than satisfies 2 adults for breakfast or brunch. The other good thing is how easy it is ...
