...cold turkey).
Meanwhile, as far as Kick goes, it is very drinkable and isn't as harsh as it's more expensive cousin (and also comes in cranberry flavour as well as original and diet), it is also a lot easier on the pocket. 98p a litre, and the bottles are more often than not BOGOFs or 2 for £1.50. It is also available in 250ml cans for 46p. Even though this is a more expensive option, this is what I recommend using as the temptation to drink more ...

...does just as well, Tesco Kick stimulation drink.
So, what is Tesco Kick? Well, it is basically Tesco's answer to Red Bull, Red Rooster and other lesser known energy drinks available on the market.
It doesn't give you wings as Red Bull claims to do but then having tried Red Bull myself, I can honestly say that feathers didn't sprout from my arse followed by the sudden urge to throw myself off of the nearest bridge to test their theory.
Anyway, ...

250mls tesco kick = 18p!!!!
So my advice would be to go for the tesco brand. The only thing i found wrong about it was that it loses its fizz quite quickly in comparison to other drinks.
If it has to be an energy drink, then try this. If it doesn't, then stick to coke. Very similar energy levels, but not as bad for you (still not great though). of any of the other energy drinks that i have tried, the only other one that i ...

...with vodka. I first noticed Kick when it seemed to be popping up in more and more peoples hands as they walk down the street, and knowing Tesco they would not let any area of food or drink go untouched without putting out a brand version of their own that could easily take away from the big time brands because of the value they can slap on a bottle or can.
Mars rip-off, Crazy Caramel, anyone?
Kick comes in both original and diet version, yet ...

There are two types of kick which I buy, and they seem to taste no different! There is the standard one, and the diet one, which you may benefit a bit more from drinking, but they only have a trace of fat!
I thought kick was full of caffeine, but, when I looked at the bottle it says it only has 0.03% but it does have all the ingredients of an energy drink. As this is my opinion of the product, I cannot list the ingredients, but it is suitable for ...

...one day I came across Kick stimulation drink. It was about the same price as Red Bull and instead of getting a little 150ml can, you got a whooping great litre bottle. There are 3 different varieties to choose from Original Kick, Diet Kick and Diet Cranberry Kick. I shall be reviewing the Diet Cranberry Kick as this is my favourite.

Advantages: Wakes you up, it's cheap, cool bottle, tastes great Disadvantages: Too much is bad for you
...right. A single bottle of Kick has the whole recommended amount of caffeine in it for a whole day.
So what's so good about Kick? Most people have tried Red Bull once in their life but for those of you who haven't this is how it works. The idea is you have a really nice tasting drink, e.g. Red Bull or Kick, but add a lotof caffeine to it.Caffeine makes a person more alert and really wakes them up. This is why tea and coffee are so popular.

Advantages: cheaper than red bull Disadvantages: short burst of engery
We all know about red bull and its claimed effects. Well this is the cheaper version i get from tesco.
As with red bull it contains taurine, and caffeine. It is sold in cans of 250ml, i think it costs about 44p for a can which compared to around 94p-£1.20 for a red bull is good value.
It is packaged in a silver can which has a horse shoe on it saying 'kick' there is the usual tesco 'spot' giving you information on sugar and fat content (both ...

...it for half the price. Kick doesn't disappoint as a Red Bull alternative. In fact, due to the £1 a can nature of the more well known brand, 24p for the same amount of Kick is a welcome relief for the party hard generation or just somebody on night shift.
A can of Kick, as I said, costs 24p. A bottle costs around 90p, and there's often a two-for-£1.50 offer. Unusually, there's only two Tescos near where I live (an "Extra" and a "Metro"), so I haven't ...

...caffeine packed and designed to kick you into action..and I think best drunk as an occasional stimulant rather than by the bottle as an ordinary way of quenching thirst.!
Its fizzy..very..and the flavour is a bit hard to describe..a little bit like a sour vimto if that makes sense..not unpleasant but not something I personally would really enjoy.
I think this drink has a definite place if you are feeling tired or run down..but id treat it almost ...

I opted for the Diet Kick Stimulation Drink and took about 250ml of it shortly before leaving home for the park to run. I was relatively impressed at my performance. Normally, I would start to feel a bit tired and my legs would refuse to budge after the first lap round the park but this time was different. I went four laps round the park before my legs started complaining and i should say it was down to the energy drink - diet kick I took. ...

How wrong was i! Unless i have red ball in front of me to drink at the same time as the kick from tescos i cannot actually taste a difference!
