I tried Killik & Co when buying Peps as they were supposed to be a low cost Self Select Pep provider. While their commissions for buying and selling were average and their dividend collection fee quite low (though not as low as Pillings) their Nominee Accounts are with Pershing Nominees. Pershing Nominees charged a fee for every little thing they could. To invest in new issues, which is normally free, they charged a fee, to pay out dividend income they charged a fee etc. Also their statements were confusing, infact their administration in general was confusing.
