...when I saw that the King of Shaves were promising me free shaving oil and a better shave I jumped at the chance. Especially as I am one of the few with sensitive skin (because I am a sensitive guy obviously). So I entered my details and the King sent me my oil. It arrived about a week later, just long enough for me to forget I had ordered it.
Much to my surprise I had received a tiny (trust me it was tiny) tube of oil. This was allegedly enough ... ...been out and bought some King of Shaves Oil for myself. It does not appear cheap but considering that you literally use a couple of drops a shave it is probably the cheaper per shave than anything else on the market.
Now I just need to find something that will motivate me into getting a hair cut before my girlfriend does it for me. ...

...back at you, but with King of Shaves oil you just see yourself, but once you’ve started and you see how nice and smoothly the razor glides across your skin you’re at ease.
Anyway I’m so impressed (“I bought the company” As Victor Kiam would say) that I have actually bought a bottle of the stuff, and have left the gel for the wife, the shave oil comes in a little 15 ml bottle and cost me £3.19 from Superdrug, that’s for the original formula. There ... ...I win the lottery. I mean why bother with a face like mine. (As my old Dad used to say, ‘Nick, you can’t polish a turd!’)
King of Shaves oil – it is a great shave and makes a nice change from gel, well worth a try.

...inside. The leaflet has King of Shaves and a big K at the top and says shaving oil on it. The bottle is on display at the bottom and that too has the King of Shaves logo on it. Embossed on the plastic at the bottom is ‘The worlds best shave’. Everything is one shade of blue or another.
We are assured on the back of the packet that it is suitable for irritable skin and that you get up to 100 shaves from one bottle.
The bottle is small ... ...that when your hands are wet you can still open it. On the back it has the volume. 15ml. Told you it was small.
When you open it and smell it really is very nice. The contents list is there in your nose. Camphor, Menthol, Eucalyptus and spearmint. So this would probably be good if you had a cold as well.
So, what’s it like to shave with then?

...mean something. The King of Shaves Formula Alpha Shaving Oil (yes, that’s it’s real name, but I shouldn’t ask for that in the chemist, you’ll confuse the nice women behind the counter) gives you Ultimate Protection from Razor Burn, Enhanced with Aloe, Vitamin E and Tea Tree Oil. It is Ideal for sensitive skin (I can vouch for that too) and alleviates Razor Burn, protects and moisturises. That’s what it say’s on the box anyway.
My personal experience ... ...sample came a pouch of King of Shaves AlphaGel and also K24 men’s active moisturiser, each of which will have it’s own opinion coming soon. I’m actually doing quite well out of these samples. I’m getting decent shaves, lots of free samples of rather expensive shaving thingy’s and also I’m making money out of the opinions I’m writing on it…..ahh life couldn’t get better.
So the low-down….This product is rather nice, I haven’t used any other oils ...

...he had ever used the King of Shaves Kinexium. The gentleman in question replied to the negative.
If you share Dogbursters paucity of Kinexium, then I suggest you buy some immediately, picking up a Sensor Excel or Mach III at the same time. It contains broadly the same oils as the original shaving oil, minus the evident peppermint oil (or is it menthol?) and toilet-cleaner blue colouring. This is no bad thing, as it does smell very pleasant, slightly ... ...anti-bacterial.
The folks at King of Shave recommend shaving in the shower. I thought this odd at first, and stayed with my mirror and sink. I found that doing this, the razor became gummed with beard, and it was not easy to sluice it. I resorted to cleaning the razor intermittently with a bit of foil form my contact-lens cleaning tablet blister pack. So, I tried it in the shower - WOW! ...had first heard of the King of Shaves range a few years ago.In those days I failed to see the point of forking out for anything radical for use with shaving,and this seemed expensive for what it was.£3.75 for 15mls of oil,Pah!how good could it be?

For a number of reasons King of Shaves shave oil has to be the best shaving product I have ever used.
It has become my personal choice because of the pure convenience factor. No longer does one have to mess about with foams, gels or soaps that nearly always get spilt around the basin. A couple of sprays onto the palm of the hand and it rubs into the beard easy money. No mess on the phone either if you have to pick it up whilst shearing. Should you ... ...by foam. I find King of Shaves gives a closer and more comfortable shave than the Boots shaving oil I had to compare it with, it has a better texture and fragrance too. Irritation hasn’t been a problem for my reasonably sensitive skin, I would though, still recommend finishing off with Nivea for Men aftershave lotion, another one of my personal favourites.
About the only disadvantage is that school children and older drunk men won’t be able to have ...

I discovered King of Shaves shaving oil around two years ago, and I haven't looked back since. I first received a free sample of their original shaving oil with the mail one morning and after the first use I was instantly pleased with the results. I had never experienced a close shave such as this before!
There are three products in the shaving oil range.
Original – This is the cheapest product. It gives a good shave, and as I say it introduced ... ...handle, I find. King of Shaves Kinexium retails for £4.50 (approx) per bottle. This bottle should last for around 90 shaves. Therefore one bottle lasts me around three months. The other formulas also last for a similar amount of time. The Original formula is around £3 and the Alpha product costs around £3.75. I should also mention the smell. It has a really nice spicy aroma, with some basil notes. ...when i came across the king of shaves. This is one very slippy product. If any of you out there are still using any of the foams etc then you are like a home without a computer with internet access!! I came across this product in a local supermarket and it was on special offer so i thought i would give it a try since if it was as good as its braggings on the back of the bottle then it would do me.
This product is even more useful as, if like me ... ...be shy and buy yourself a bottle. I used foam prior to this product and it was hit and miss whether you got your goatie remained straight,level or even shaved it half off. Now since this is an oil there is no lathering up or massive amounts of cream obscureing your face so you can tell exactly where your razor is going to shave and how well the shave is going.
I don't know whether this product is that popular as if you look at the price and compare ...

...decided to try out the King of Shaves(which I hadn't heard of previously)
Shaving oil. When I saw the size of the pouch that it came in I was shocked to see that my sample was supposed to contain enough oil for approximately five shaves. Five shaves? I thought they were pulling my leg as the Pouch was only about two inches long and half an inch wide.
Apparently it would change the way I shave forever.(lets Put it to the test then) As the instructions ... ...and then scroll down and click on King of Shaves - fill in your name and address and hey presto, within the week your free samples will be on your doorstep.
Hint: have look round this site when your done coz there's some cool freebies on offer.

I thought it was a bit dubious at first - quite a lot to pay for a small, no make that tiny, but stylish little bottle of shave oil. I am quite generous by nature and come from the barber's school that dictates one must use about three cubic metres of shaving foam as an absolute minimum. It just did not seem possible that I could get the same results and satisfaction from this midget package... ... ...by my reckoning) I took King of Shaves Oil for a test drive. And stone me it works.
One has to change the style of shaving when switching from foam to oil. The volume of shaving foam really gives you something to drive against and helps to push the trimmed stubble through the razor and away, as well as suspending all that cut stubble and allowing you to rinse your blade easily. Not so with oil of course - you need to rinse the razor more frequently ...

I’d never used a similar product before but being someone who totally detests shaving I was intrigued by the statement that it would make the experience more comfortable. I never ... ...started to shave more often and this has actually made my skin around the neck more irritable. The sample was in a small transparent plastic tube and, bare in mind I’d just got out of the shower, was impossible to open. You are supposed to twist the top but even after drying my hands it was too difficult to get a grip and eventually I had to go and find a pair of scissors to snip it. ...day and came across the King of Shaves web site and ordered a free sample of some of their shaving oil. It duly arrived a couple of days later, this very, very small packet with some oil in. It looked just enough to cover one of my cheeks (facial cheeks before you ask), let alone enough for several shaves. So I followed the instructions, doing what we all should do when shaving, but rarely do, you know, washing your face thoroughly first using some ... ...face!) and then added some shave oil. Now the instructions say to use 3/4 drops of oil. When I squeezed this onto my hand, there was practically nothing there. But I thought I'd give it a go anyway. I put the oil on my face, and still thought "this is going to hurt" as there didnt seem to be anything on my face at all. Well, to cut a long story short (oh yes, I could go on for several days here!) it's a miracle product. It gave the best shave I can ...
