Advantages: Good Make, Good Value Disadvantages: None, Its memory.
...is a generic brand or Kingston or Crucial isn't really going to affect things that much.
However when choosing your memory be aware of what kind of memory it is you are choosing.
The first thing is MB - MegaByte. This could be 128, 256, 512 and so on the more Megabyte you have the quicker your system should run.
As this is 256MB you have a good size for running normal everyday tools such as Outlook, Internet and Word. However if you are into CAD ... ...might want to look at 512MB.
The next thing is memory speed. In this case it is 333mhz (PC2700).
It could be 266mhz or 400mhz. Obviouslt the higher the better. However in order to really utilise this you need to have a processor that has a front side bus of the same or faster and a motherboard that supports the same.
As memory goes this is a good size and a good quality. Various computer stores sell it, however you don't want to be paying more ...
