Advantages Advantages Great taste, minimal packaging, good offers in Asda.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I am a fan of pretty much all Kit Kat products and this is no exception at all. The familiar Kit Kat packaging is there, paper sleeve & foil wrapper but this looks darker and more sophisticated. I can't wait to get it home and rip the multipack open! In the packet I brought there were 10 2 finger Kit Kats (all dark) and I also brought a normal variety. I paid £2 for 2 packs of 10 from Asda and this is quite a regular price offer so keep your eyes peeled. I put my Kit Kats in the fridge (hidden in the salad box!) to cool them to get that extra crisp bite which I so adore with chocolate. Once ... more

Advantages Advantages if you like dark chocolate you will like these

Disadvantages Disadvantages bit too strong tasting for me

We got these in a 7 pack a few weeks ago. I like Dark Chocolate and although I eat more Milk Chocolate there is something nice about the dark stuff. Wife hates it, but she doesn't know what she's missing. Have never seen these in the 4 finger packs, but instead got a 7 pack of the individual 2 finger. I think these packs sell for around the £1.40 mark thesedays. but we got 2 packs for £2. So 1 of these packs for me, and a pack of the Mint ones for the wife - which I helped her eat. Packaged the usual way. The 2 fingers are joined lenghtways together and are wrapped in a thin foil coating ... more

    Advantages Advantages Taste

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Calories

We bought a 7 pack of the 2 bar Kit Kats from Morrisons for about 1.50. Reasonable I'd say, with each bar equalling just more than 20p. I first acquired my love for Kit Kats at my grandparents' house, and my love for dark chocolate was discovered thanks to my grandma being generous with some Bournville. So now that the two have been combined, it's great! The dark Kit Kat's still the "Kit Kat" as you know it - 2 fingers joined together by chocolate lengthways, layered wafer and chocolate, foil wrapped with the thin paper sticker label type thing with all the information about ingredients etc on ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, only 106 calories

Disadvantages Disadvantages I don't like the bitter taste

Chocolate for me is not just something sweet; I believe it is one of the basic food groups and it is always on top of my list when I go shopping. I still remember how I used to enjoy KitKat when I was really young, but truly couldn’t believe that this miraculous thing has been there since 1930’s. However, I have to admit that I have never been one of those who fell in the trap of dark chocolate; it might be healthy but it’s not as good as milk chocolate. When they make it with sweet fruity filling it becomes fine, but still not very satisfactory. Nestle launched the dark edition of KitKat in ... more

Advantages Advantages Very tasty, a good snack.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Chocolate not particularly good for you.

Kit Kat, this review is on the pack of nine, consisting of two fingered bars, of "Fine dark Kit Kits", although previously they were made in fours. Originally made by Rowntrees at their York factory, they were bought out by Nestles in 1988. In the USA they were made by Hershey;s, the company which became famous over here during the war. The first Kit Kat cost Tuppence, but that was back in 1936. The idea of a biscuit with chocolate covering, was thought up by one of Rowntree's employees. It was launched as the Rowntree's Chocolate Crisp, and the famous name of Kit Kat was introduced in 1937 ... more
