Advantages: Large variety, practical, delicious, price Disadvantages: None really!
When it comes to selecting a delicious little snack, I often opt for a Kit Kat, and for this, there are many reasons! But when it comes to choosing which one in particular, the flavour, size and pleasure all come into consideration…
-----HISTORY-----
The original Kit Kat was created by Rowntrees, all the way down in York, in 1935, when it was given the name Chocolate Crisp. It went through various other names, such as Kit Kat Crisp, before settling ... ...The first Kit Kat came in the four-finger range, providing that pleasant combination of chocolate and wafer. Over seventy years later, Kit Kats have sold worldwide, fashioning all sorts of new and interesting flavours and sizes.
For example, Japan have shelved a Kit Kat Bitter, and Australia have their Kit Kat Mint Rush.
Over in the UK, we have seen many forms of Kit Kat, some Limited Edition offers, others permanent to stay forever! But the most ...

Advantages: Simple, delicious chocolate snack Disadvantages: The packaging isn't as fun as it used to be!
So, hands up who’s never tried a Kit Kat? I find it hard to believe that many of you reading this review will not know what a Kit Kat is like, so I’ll try to make it as interesting as possible for people with all levels of Kit Kat experience.
I myself am an experienced Kit Kat eater, as it is one of my favourite chocolate snacks. Kit Kats have been around since 1935, when they were originally launched just in London and the South East of England ... ...Kit Kat. It is now made by Nestle, who bought Rowntrees some years ago. I haven’t been eating Kit Kats since 1935, but I’ve certainly been a Kit Kat fan for a long time, and despite various changes to the manufacturer, logo and packaging (more about that later) the chocolate has – thankfully stayed the same.
For the (probably very few) uninitiated amongst you, Kit Kat is one of the simplest chocolate bars around, comprising a thin, crispy wafer ...

...a few. According to the Nestlé website, there have also been a number of Limited Editions in recent years - ranging from Luscious Lime and Lemon & Yogurt to, rather bizarrely, Christmas Pudding Flavour! Not surprisingly this particular flavour didn't take off - he he!!
So there are the main flavours.... Up to now, I have assumed that you all know what a Kit Kat is and I'm sure all of you do, but I shall now tell you a bit about the actual bar itself. ... ...is the sweet smell of Nestlé milk chocolate. It seems slightly more creamy than Cadbury milk chocolate, but it is the sweetness which comes through most strongly. The individual Kit Kat fingers look quite chunky because they are shaped as long blocks of chocolate. Each one has a different phrase etched into chocolate - 'Gimme a break' and 'break - don't snap' are just two examples. As well as a phrase, every bar also has the Kit Kat logo carved into ...

The Kit Kat is available to buy in fingers of 4 at a price of 40-50. There is also a Kit Kat Chunky which is my favourite style of Kit Kat which is ... ...a price of about 60p. You can also buy Kit Kats in a multipack , which consist of 2 fingers individually. You can buy these for a cost of about a £1. You can buy Kit Kats from all supermarkets , corner shops and vending machines.
The Kit Kat I am going to review is the Kit Kat Original. I bought my Kit kat multipack from Somerfield for a small price of 99p (which is printed on the packet). There are six kit kats in this packet.

That gap between breakfast and lunch. It's a tricky one. Some people try to hold off untill lunch time, some people grap a peice of fruit, or a yogurt, and then there's the ones who head off to the shop for a bag of crisps or a chocolate bar (or 3). I myself, am a mix in between. My "morning snack" for the past few days has consisted of three thing, a yogurt, a glass of fresh fruit juice, and, the thing I will be reviewing, the well known _kit-kat_.

What is a kit-kat? Well that's a tricky one. Is it bar of chocolate, or is it a chocolate biscuit. Personally I agree with the latter. Kit-kats are made by the world wide company Nestle, who produce many products, from chocolate bars, to drinks, to yogurts and so on! 2 or 4 wafers, covered in delicious nestle milk chocolate, joined ...

Advantages: A chocolatey, biscuity, thingy Disadvantages: The chocolate melts too quickly
I'm having a respite from writing about beer today....that's right, I'm having a break - I'm having a KIT KAT.
When I think about it, with all these beer ops, occasionally interspersed with ramblings about chocolate, anyone could be forgiven for thinking I'm someone who's obsessed with stuffing things in my gob, and consequently am growing larger by the day. Not at all, next week I may do an opinion about washing powder - if I can find one that ... ...becoming overweight is something that just snacks up on you.
Enough of the piffle-poffle, let's get right down to the chocolate. KIT KAT was first launched in the South East of England in September 1935. Well, that's not strictly true as at that time it was called Rowntree's Chocolate Crisp. It only became 'Kit Kat' in 1937.
From their website:
"The name Kit Kat was supposedly named after the Kit Kat club, an 18th Century Whig literary club. As ...

Although I try to avoid buying anything made by Nestle, my husband has no such reservations and returned from petrol station today bearing gifts in the shape of two KitKat editions bars.
This week I shall mostly be reviewing the editions seville orange KitKat.

I've tried looking at it in daylight and artificial light and it's definitely peachy.
I am attempting to put a picture with the review should anyone be foolish enough to actually want to buy one of these bars.

'Have a break, have a Kit Kat'. This is the famous advertising slogan that over the years has sold millions of chocolate covered biscuits bars covered in the distinctive red and white wrapper.
IN THE BEGINNING
Why Kit Kat? Is there a cat connection? When it was first produced in 1935 the original name for this chocolate bar was Rowentree's Chocolate Crisp. In 1937 it was renamed Kit Kat after the 18th century literary club, the Kit Kat club. The ... ...known as 'Kats', the club had such low ceilings that when large painting had to be exhibited there the frames a had to be snapped off in order for them to fit. The club thus became known as the Kit Kat club and the chocolate bar because it was made so that it could easily be snapped in to two, became Kit Kat.
There is a cat connection though slightly later. In the 50's when the two-fingered bar was launched, the advertising campaign featured 'Kitty ...

Advantages: Chocolate snack bar easy to share with friends Disadvantages: Rather sweet
I have just been shopping in Somerfield and spotted Kit Kats at half price. Well, they are not my favourite chocolate bar but at £1.24 for 27 bars I’d have been mad to pass them by. So now after eating three bars in a row and having sipped my cup of tea I am ready to tell you all about them.
Packaging
The 27 finger family package is made of plastic foil and is a rectangular pack. The plastic foil helps to keep the product even fresher. The ... ...Kit Kats are stacked in threes so there are 9 rows inside the pack. The pack opened easily at one end and I was able to remove three Kit Kats without disturbing the rest. I was disappointed that the Kit Kats hadn’t been packed in separate plastic bags as this normally helps to regulate my eating habits. I can eat one pack and then put the other away for another time. Faced with 27 loose bars I can easily keep nibbling away until they are all ...

Advantages: A great tasting snack Disadvantages: none
One of the most successful chocolate bars of all time, and therefore one of the best tasting, well lets face it, if nobody liked them they wouldn’t make them anymore.
I love chocolate, who doesn’t?, I have a sweet tooth, for all my sins, and tend to eat more than the occasional chocolate bar. Though I don’t buy individual KitKat bars a lot I do buy the multi packs quite often, and to be honest I never really thought about them much, ‘till now.
... ...chocolate, the individual bars come as four ‘fingers’, the multi packs have a two finger version. In 1999 a ‘Chunky’ version was released, this is a large one finger version, which you can now get in original, orange and white chocolate. They are made by Nestle who have a web site for the bars. On the wrapper there is a phone number and address for comments and questions. The wrapper itself is quite a distinctive red and white design, fairly plain ...

KitKats have been a favourite of mine since I was so small a single finger wrapped in the foil felt like an enormous treat...now both my body and appetite have grown so that one finger does nothing more than tease me for the other 3 fingers ;) Depending on how glutenous you feel you can choose from either a 2 finger, 4 finger or even a chunky option. A very delicious and tasty chocolate bar. Actually I tell a lie - there isn't 1 chocolate bar that you get in a packet but 2 fingers! Absolutely fantastic some (like myself) would say. Plus the price of this is very good (for 2 fingers of reasonable length it costs a mere 30p or you could buy it in packets of 8 which cost 79p). And for those of you who think that they need more of this, pay an extra 10p on top of the 30p and you get a 4-fingered ... ...composed chocolate bar. All each finger is is a thick wafer piece coated slightly with gorgeous milk chocolate. One would think that it wasn't sweet enough, but the wafer biscuit is slighty sweet too, thus compensating for the lack of chocolate. All in all a very simple and delightfull chocolate bar. And as I said before, you do not only get 1 bar in a packet but 2 (or 4 depending on which one you get) thus not making you bored of too much chocolate ...

kit Kat is not as good as it looks, it's better than it looks! At First Glance The Kit Kat itself itself is wrapped in foil, with a red and white packaging. At first glance the Kit kat's are not the most attractive chocolate to look at. With it's dull chocolate colour and rectangular shape. Nevertheless they taste great and that's what counts. You can get a Kit Kat chocolate bar in either a pack of two or a pack of four. The two bar Kit Kat are small ... ...they are bigger, and I am greedy. What It Tastes Like ? So the Kit Kat itself is a tasty and crispy chocolate wafer. The chocolate itself is joined together but it can easily be snapped from the bar. The texture of the Kit Kat to touch and taste is smooth. You can eat the Kit-Kat in many ways but I like eating them individually so that I can make most of the taste. When taking the Kit Kat down your mouth you notice the melting sensation. The combination ...

Kit Kats are a British institution and have been with us since 1935! Little has changed with the product over the years but these days are now packaged in a single plastic wrapper, sealed at both ends. Years ago they used to be wrapped directly in thin silvery foil and the entire foil package was wrapped again with a paper sleeve bearing the brand logo and coloured in the familiar red. It used to be quite a satisfying experience to run a finger nail ... ...the individual finger off for consumption. It also stopped fingers coming into direct contact with melty chocolate. I'm not quite sure why the decision was made to change the packing but I imagine it had something to do with efficiency and profit margin. Or maybe it was done for reasons of hygiene? Kit Kat poisoning must have been rife back in the day. Bah humbug! I preferred the old way. They're available in 2-finger and 4-finger packs. The 2-fingers ...
