~ Kleenex For Men Tissues ~ My husband and myself have both been suffering with a bit of a cold and a sniffle recently, presumably as a result of the ever-changing weather conditions we have been experiencing lately. We nipped off to a local branch of Tesco to stock up on some much-needed supplies to tide us over. One item on our list was some tissues, as we had used up our existing supply at home. I had intended to purchase the 'balsam' tissues from the well-known 'Kleenex' brand, but when I perused the items in store, I noticed a generously-sized 'Twin Pack' of tissues available from ... more

Kleenex Man size Tissues I recently bought quite a few boxes of the man sized tissues from Kleenex mainly because they were on a half price special offer in Morrison's but also because of the grey style of box and the fact that it fits with the room décor in my bedroom. The man sized tissues have a slightly new look and it states on the box that they merely look different on the outside but are the same great Kleenex tissues on the inside. I think changing the name slightly from “Tissues for Men” to “Man size Tissues” was probably a good idea. The tissues came plastic wrapped with two boxes ... more

Advantages Advantages Strong and absorbant tissues

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as soft and luxurious as balm tissues

These tissues haven't been called Kleenex for Men for a couple of years now, they've had a bit of a revamp and now go by the name of Kleenex Mansize. I usually go for Kleenex Balsam or, more recently, Tesco Balm tissues (as they're cheaper). This week though I've been using these Mansize tissues, because I don't like to conform. Well, because they've been on special offer actually but I do like to rebel against my sex sometimes. I remember my dad used to buy these and the box has definitely shrunk over the years, the tissues are still visibly bigger though so Kleenex must have come up with ... more

    Advantages Advantages Soft and strong.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Wasted size.

After the disastrous time I had with Tesco Value Facial Tissues during my most recent cold, I decided that I needed something a bit more substantial. The wife wouldn’t let me use the bath towels (although I felt like I needed something that size!!) but instead we bought a box of these Kleenex Tissues. My wife actually joked that because I thought I had ‘man flu’ (women never understand how bad it is for men to have the flu!!) then I should get these man tissues to go with it. We paid £1.50 for a box of these in the local supermarket, although I have previously seen them on offers of 2 for 1 ... more

Advantages Advantages They are larger and very good quality

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I am not a man but I do quite like the large tissues from Kleenex called Tissues for men. I get these in the large cardboard box and they pull out of the middle bit and they are often on an offer and this is when I tend to buy them. I do not have any left at the moment but next time I see them on the offer I will be buying some more of them because I do like them a lot. I pay only £1.89 and there are 100 2-ply tissues in the large box. They are lovely and large and very strong tissues, I find. They measure about 30cm x 27cm and I like them because they are lovely and thick but they are very ... more

Advantages Advantages Large, strong, good quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as soft as other tissues, there are cheaper brands available

I like to have a tissue in my pocket or handbag at all times as I quite often get a bit of a runny nose or will sneeze. I seem to be allergic to really dusty environments and also cat hairs and in my job I never know what I will come across! The tissues I usually buy are Kleenex Mansize (previously called Kleenex for men). The packaging has had a recent revamp in the past couple of years - these tissues now in 2 sizes of boxes - there is the standard rectangular box with the cardboard oval that pops out - or there is the compact version which is a square box that comes in a twin pack. I ... more

Advantages Advantages Large soft tissues in a large box

Disadvantages Disadvantages Silly name creates silly comments

It kind of annoys me that they market these tissues as 'for men' simply because of the size, whereas it's impossible to find large tissues that are considered unisex. It does make a difference, although it shouldn't, because whenever people come over and they see them they always comment on them being for 'the man of the house', which I find ridiculous frankly, but anyway.. I always need decent tissues due to my many allergies, the most latest of which is hayfever. As you may have seen from my Andrex review I also really don't like cheap tissues that fall apart easily or ones with strong ... more

I have to say that when Coca Cola came up with the Zero version of their soft drink I reacted the same way when I saw the Kleenex For Men Tissues and now I'm actually a big fan of Coca Cola Zero but if I can say the same about the tissues? We saw these on an offer at our supermarket and thought we could give it a try but not really understanding why there's a men version. I know that tissues are more a women thing and I'm only basing this on what I see on television and not in real life in the hope of not offending anybody! But we always see when a woman cries that they get a box of tissues ... more
