This book alongside all the others by Jude Deveraux is excellent. It can easily absorb you into the role, and make you feel like you were right now living in the era of the time described. The book starts in today's world but in which the character get transported through time in which she lived the life of a lady 500 years back. Advantages: Enthralling romance story which defies time and space
Disadvantages: You need to believe in time-travel, fairy tales and happy endings...but we always do when we read romances!

This is one of my favourite Romance Books of all time. It probably is my 2nd most favourite after Judith McNaught's 'Paradise'. This book is in my opinion Jude Deveraux' best. It started with a young American lady Dougless being heart-broken and helpless after being left in a small town in the UK by her boyfriend and his spoiled daughter. A knight in shining armour is without doubt in my opinion Jude Deveraux's best work. I have read and re-read it numerous times and each time it never fails to capture me into its magical story.
