4 Stars What I expected - No more, no less Review with images 28/05/2008

Advantages Advantages Outstanding clarity in natural light

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad for those you don't have a steady hand, internal memory isn't great

When my old Kodak camera died, I had no choice but to have to buy a new one because I am, amongst other things, addicted to taking pictures. It's sad but true. I'm probably the kind of perosn who would buty one of those big-ass hardcore cameras with a SUPER ZOOM lens and a MASSIVE tripod if I had any disposable income at all. Being on a tight budget I went for the one that seemed to be the best value for money... plus it came with a free printer in Currys :-) hehe. Anyway, back to the camera. I chose Kodak because I find the resulting picture quality of this brand to be far superior to many ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, small size, good pics

Disadvantages Disadvantages none that I could find

I had this camera bought for me for my birthday and I am so pleased with it. I have never owned a digital camera before and wanted something easy to use that took good photos and was easy to transfer onto the pc. Well this camera does it all. It is nice to look at, silver in colour and fits nicely in the hand when taking the photos. It is quite heavy for the size but not too bad. The camera is a 8.1 mega pixel camera which is really good for this prive level. The zoom on the front is easy to use and you can zoom in quite a good distance to see take close ups. It is brilliant at taking photos ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, great quality , really user friendly

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none as yet

I bought this camera 2 weeks ago as i was due to go on holiday and my last one had broken. I brought the pink one in asda for £59 and it has been worth every penny. The camera is 8.2 Mega pixels which gives great quality pictures, and should be more than adequate for most people who want to take pics of special occassions. The camera is fairly small and lightweight, and for the price fairly stylish. However what really impressed me about this camera was it's ease of use - although the camera gives photo quality that is good enough for more experienced photographers it is also simple enough for ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, clear, amazing flash quality!

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesnt always turn on with one touch - not a big deal

This camera is great I got it from Asda for £59.99 and it is better than what I expected, and I got the pink one! The flash on this camera is amazing; you can stand in pitch black, outside at night and get a perfect picture! I know not many people do this as a hobby however I thought id give it a test! The 8.2mp is actually 8.1mp but don't let that bother you it is still very clear. This camera has many different picture taking modes, you can even chose a mode to take pictures of things which may wriggle about a bit , i.e. when your tryin to get a picture of a pet or young child, this is my ... more

Advantages Advantages cheap, light, easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages pictures are not perfectly sharp

Kodak EasyShare C813 I bought this camera one year ago. I needed something cheap and good for short holiday. I paid about £70 and now I can tell it is nothing special. If you want a good camera it is better to pay double and get something better. (This summer I will buy a good camera) I will keep this one for parties because I will not have to worry if I loose it, scratch it or damage it. This camera has many differant settings and modes for differant weather, light, and distance. Unfortunately the pictures are little blurry specialy if the object is moving. I was trying to take a picture of ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent picture quality, stylish, blur indicator, ease of use.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor battery life, limited optical zoom, easyshare software, quite thick.

I bought it on December 2007 and I have used it ever since. It takes great quality photos with 8.1 Mega Pixels and saves them onto a memory stick. When you turn it on it asks you to set the date and time. After that it is ready to take pictures. In the Auto setting the photos look fantastic, the colour is rich and it is sharp. The shutter button has 2 stages, press it halfway and it auto-focuses then press it fully to take the picture. It shoots close obects too with the near-shot setting. In scene mode you choose different scene settings that go with your situation, they are great but I'd ... more

Advantages Advantages it has a wide range of different features and the picture quality is not bad.

Disadvantages Disadvantages the camera can eat battery quite fast as well as the fact it sometimes freeze with the lens open

Kodak easy share camera saw it on the Tesco’s website and was reading the reviews on the product there was some very good reviews and I was looking for a good camera and the reviews prompt me to but the camera, although I don’t always read the review this time I decided to. Bought the camera and it was working fine, it was pretty neat, comfortable to carry in the handbag and so forth, not the big sort of camera, it was pretty easy to use as well I didn’t really need the manual to work it. The camera has some pretty good features that I want such as the image stabilization, auto focus, it had 7 ... more

    Advantages Advantages great quality pictures.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I bought this camara for christmas 2007 for £69.50. I'm not very good with technology but the Kodak EasyShare C813 was very easy to get the hang of. I was suprised when i saw all the differant settings you could change to while taking a picture like all kinds of differant weather settings, room settings, light setting and video mode. The quality of the picture is very high and there is no delay when the picture is taken so its very rare that you get a blurry picture. The camara memory itself can only hold about 50 pictures but i bought a 1GB SD card for £5 that slots in the camarawhich holds ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cheap

Disadvantages Disadvantages Having to use recharagble batteries

I got this as a birthday present last year and was really suprised at it. It cost my brother £49.99 from Tescos and for the price i didnt believe it would be good. I opened the box and there was a camera strap. batteries etc. The LCD screen again was a nice size ( people may not agree but the camera i had before was a vivitar which the lcd screen was really poor). The picture quality, size and weight were all pretty good as it is not too bulky and not too heavy to carry around in an handbag. I have not had any major problems with this camera except that for some reason it does not power up on ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use. Nice photos. Very good value.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Flash too bright. Video not good.

This camera is a little beauty! At under £100 of course the quality isnt as high as some of the more advanced and expensive peices of kit, but for an entry level digital camera, you can't go wrong with this one. It has 3x digital zoom and a generous 8.1 megapixel photo size. (The photos will fill memory card space very quickly!) The special close up focus is good, it keeps things sharp up to about an inch and a half away. The colours are vibrant and true, although in the dark the flash is in my opinion, too bright. The video feature is not great, although this does not claim to be a video ... more
