Advantages: small size and weight Disadvantages: image quality, quality of materials used
...I ended up with the Kodak M1073 IS. The camera is avaliable in black or silver, and has a plastic body. Mine is the black version pictured, it looks quite sleek and classy in the pictures, unfortunately in person it simply looks like a cheap black body with cheap silvery bits. Also worth noting is that the camera unlike many DOES NOT come with an SD card as part of the pack, you have to purchase one separately, of course this unlikely to be a problem ... ...cant trust a brand like Kodak who have built a reptuation on camera equipment who can you trust? According to Kodak's own site the M-series cameras have image stablisation, and HD image capture among other things, neither of these are evident to me at least. Before coming to write this review I had no idea of the RRP for this camera, but the quoted £100 - £120 (taken from the information to the left of the product information) has absolutely horrified ...

Advantages: Light, Compact, Easy to Use Disadvantages: Picture Quality is not great
I bought the M1073 IS about 6 months ago. It has 10.2 megal pixels and is very light and compact. It has a big range of picture options including setting for taking pictures of Children, Snow, Beach, Sport and Panoramic. The picture quality is good when the pictures are taken during the day but I found when trying to take pictures of my son indoors that I had to be very near him as, although the flash seems quite bright, the pictures come out very ... ...camera down. The quality of the pictures on the screen do not look very good but once they are transferred onto a computer or printed they are actually good quality. I previously had a Sony Cybershot camera with only 5 mega pixels and to be honest the picture was about the same if not better than the pictures I get from this camera. I would recommend this camera as it is quite cheap and easy to use but if you want really good quality pictures I personally ...

...the fact it didnt come with an SD card or any type of case for it to go in....meaning i had to spend an extra £40 on things that should have been provided. I would however recommend this camera to anyone to just wants to capture some Kodak moments. ...
