...photo printing.
I saw the Kodak advertised on tv- claiming to be 10p per print- and give photo lab quality pictures, the inks are £6 for black and £10 for color (aprox).
I got it yesterday from amazon at £60- £20 cheaper than kodak sell it for.
It doesn't come with a usb cable- but I used my lexmark one- so if you are replacing an older printer- you can use that cable- if not- you'd need to buy one.
From kodak's site- it seems that they give ... ...be doing nothing- I called kodak (uk call centre) and they guided me through it all. It does take ages- but is worth it! Also for some reason the default only installed one part of the software- so make sure you get 'easyshare', AIO home centre, easyshare printer dock & user guide- I downloaded them online from kodak's site via their help on the phone.

Advantages: Fast printing, good quality, cheap cartridges, fast card reader, good scanner Disadvantages: fairly noisy when you start it and shut down, consumes ink fast
I have just purchased this printer. Was delivered yesterday and I was so excited I wanted to put it to work straight away, bt I was concerned with the fact that some people had not rated it well, yet I had seen demonstrations on the TV and internet pointing out all the benefits for buying this printer. So you must take it out of the box remove all packaging and all sticky tapes attached to the lids and other opening also you must remove packaging from the cartridge cradle and click it into place as well as remove also the packaging from each cartridge and click it into place. Then firstly I install the cd (make sure to check is the one for your operating system (Windows or Mac) once installation is near completion it will ask you to connect ...

Quick review of Kodak ESP3
Bought this product a few months ago. Was a special deal from Currys with a year supply of ink. So far quite happy with it. Easy to install and set up, quality of printing good. Picture quality on A4 good. (I haven't used photo paper so can't comment) Easy to use as scanner and photocopier. Only negatives calibration quite noisy and I tend to use draft as my normal setting and it occaisionally has a mind of it's own and does a slow print on the first sheet! Minor irritation is that dimensions do not include pull out paper tray so it protrudes from bottom shelf of computer desk and have to take care not to put feet on it. Overall would recommend. ...
