...various digital cameras, I knew Kodak was a good make, the model seemed to have all the mod-cons I wanted in a camera, but more importantly, the question in the back of my mind was; could my wife use it? Don’t get me wrong, she’s great - just not the most technically minded person I know. She is the type of person who has problems with the TV remote.

The Kodak C330 seemed to do the trick, though it was difficult by looking at a small picture on the Amazon’s web site but it was worth the risk for the price (£130).
It has 4MP (mega pixels), which is ideal for most people. It had a fairly good LCD display, at 1.5 inches, though I would have liked it slightly bigger. The LCD display has buttons around the right side. These allow you to control the features and change settings. The ...

The only downside I would say with this camera is that the batteries only last 2 minutes. Luckily I have a battery charger and rechargeable ...

...e-mail congratulating me on the Kodak EasyShare C330 Digital Camera that I had won! Obviously I was very happy and as I'd been thinking of getting a new digital camera the timing couldn't have been better. ...turned out to be the Kodak Easyshare C330 Digital Camera with zoom. I was actually, quite lucky as for some reason it was on special offer for that week alone and I got it for £49.99. It came with a free set of batteries a carrier case and I bought a camera memory card.

...a good manufacturer then The Kodak EasyShare C330 fits the bill.
Not difficult to use, and Kodak have limited the buttons to a minimum. Most of the functions are controlled via a thumb wheel on the top. This switches the camera on, and selects the modes for taking pictures.
Auto Mode: the one you will probably use the most. This is the point a shoot mode, the one for parties, Christmas etc.

...You can also buy a kodak printer dock, which is small, and your kodak camera sits on the top of it and you get the option to print which photos you want on the 1.5" LCD display on the back of the camera.
The camera is unfortantly not rechargeable and takes 2 X AA batteries which is a pain, my advice buy some rechargable batterys which comes with an in-wall charger (Energizer do one for around £15) which is much better and has helped me a lot.

I broke my trusty Nikon coolpix and need a digital compact zoom urgently as i was heading out to a concert. I saw this camera on offer in a local supermarket at 79.99 and bought it then and there and took it home. Nothing special to an experienced user but I thought that it would be helpfull to a beginner and a handy feautre. there are six modes, scene, backlight, portrait, sports, landscape and close up.the scene mode has a further 8 subsettings, giving 13 shooting modes in all. I have tried each of these modes and the camera handles them all with the same performance, very well in fact, better than was expected at the price.

I asked for this camers as a Christmas present, never having used a digital camera before, and have been enormously impressed.

Advantages: Easy to use for beginners Disadvantages: Comes with small memory stick
My boyfriend bought me this camera for my birthday and I have to say it is a piece of cake to use. Pics come out really nicely; many of the ones I have taken I've printed out on gloss paper and they are really sharp.
I personally like the fact that it uses AA batteries rather than a charger as it means I can use it anywhere I have access to batteries rather than worrying about taking a charger everywhere.
It also comes with a USB cable which you ... ...straight onto it- you dont actually need to download Kodak's software to use it!
As for size, its not small and gadgety-looking but I think it feels more robust. And to be honest, I want good pictures, not a toy.
Considering the variety of cameras on the market today, if you want a digital camera with a decent amount of megapixels which you can figure out yourself in 2 minutes how to use, get it.
I've now had it over a year and its working perfectly.

Advantages: easy to use software to put pics onto your computer Disadvantages: easily turned on accidentaly and batteries dont last very long
This is a good camera and ive had mine for a year now. It hasnt let me down once and ive had no technical problems with it. The batteries run down very quickly but I found that buying rechargable batteries will save you a lot of money.
There is no on/off button, you have to turn the wheel on top which is a quick way of working out all the settings but if you carry it around in a case it turns itself on too easily.
