Talking to the assistant she assured us that it was just that Kodak had special offers from time to time. I also assumed that this camera was not the latest model and I guess I was right. However on face value it looked like it might be just what I wanted. With Hubby's staff discount the price cane down to a very cheap £28. It is about 4 or 5 inches long by about 3 inches wide and about an inch deep. As such it fit's nicely in the palm of my hand and would fit easily in my pocket or handbag. ...digital camera to replace my Kodak EasyShare CX6330 which has served me very well for 5.5 years! I had a good look around for a bargin and spotted this in Tesco at just £44.97!! And so far I love this camera!
It is a 6.2 megapixel with a 3x optical zoom (for me this is important as with digital zoom you lose quality - optical zoom maintains the quality) It does have an additional 5x Digital zoom should you want to get even closer (but with a slight ... ...directly on the camera using Kodak Perfect Touch Technology to enhace picture brightness, and cropping function allows pictures to be cropped - removing unwanted parts round the edge or focussing on one part of the photograph. Videos can be edited making a picture from a video, or a video action print - a 4-, 9-, or 16-up picture.

Like some other reviewers, I bought this camera at Tesco for under £45 around 4 months ago. This camera is simply perfect for those with under £100 to spend. For inexperienced users there is no better camera to use to get to grips with the subtleties of quality image capturing. It far outperformed my peers' slightly more expensive cameras and even at £60-75 is a sure fire winner.
The true beauty of this camera lies in the fact that amateurs can ... ...amateurs can also, with a bit of luck, capture near professional shots if used outdoors. Even action shots are made easy with a quality and staggeringly simple anti-shake feature. One downfall is that indoor photographs do leave a little to be desired, even considering the price, although, this is an unfortunate trait of every camera I have seen at less than £100. ...Every picture taken using the Kodak Easyshare C613 is spot on when viewing pictures on the LCD viewfinder/display or once they have been printed off. The sheer depth of colour and detail is something we have ever come across before in such a cheap digital camera and it is obvious to even the layman that a lot of time and effort has been placed into designing the perfect digital camera.
Good Points:
Takes excellent pictures with lots of detail
... ...out of 10 because the Kodak software has seriously slowed down my home PC. It now takes 5 minutes to boot up and when selecting pictures to open into a full screen the action can take up to 2 minutes to process. I have a fairly new computer so continue to find this very frustrating. If you are someone who likes to have hard copies of their pictures I would suggest that you buy the printer dock. It is a bit expensive but over the long run I am sure ...

I recieved this camera as a gift and at first i was very happy with it, the camera i have is the black version not the silver. The camera is a little bit on the bulky side, but it has many good points!! firstly the camera is very easy to use, the camera comes with very good instructions but i found it alot easier to just fiddle around with it to find the ins and outs of the camera.
The camera comes with a carry handle, a stand and the usb wire to ... ...very easy to connect to the computer you just turn the camera on then plug the wire into the camera then to your computer and straight away the camera is set up to your computer and it gives you the option to save the pictures to your computer or to save in individual files.
once the camera is turned on it gives you mant different settings for the best results for each setting. for example theres a video setting to record both motion and sound, ...

First impressions:
Kodak have created another little gem with the new EasyShare C613. First impressions are very good indeed. It's fairly compact and easy to handle. It is simple in design but feature packed for the price. Picture quality:
At 6.2 megapixels it's great for snapshots. The pictures are colourful and sharp and really good quality considering the price tag.
Features: A good set of features including colour modes (sepia, black and white), ... ...is very easy to use. Kodak have even included a 'Help' button, which is a handy addition. The menu system is easy and the menu screen is pleasing to the eye with all the buttons clearly marked. Bad points:
Not many really. The only thing that I would have liked to have seen is the inclusion of an optical viewfinder so that you have the choice of how to view the subject you are taking the picture of, but thats just me. Overall:

I wanted a camera that was good, but cheap. And I think I found the perfect one. I payed £60 for it and I have had no problems with it. With amazing 6.3 mega pixel, Video plus optical and digital zoom. Its a compact and stylish camera. Its got loads of features eg night vision anti blur and more. You can connect it up to the computer nicely with its own Koday photo editing. I have also had this camera for about a year now and its the best camera ... ...lcd screen. And it has got a hand strap. You can put in a sd memory card for extra storage. It is also easy to use.
There are not many bad points about it. But there is one. The camera is runned on double AA batterys, which does make the camera a abit heavy. Also the only way to take a picture is by looking at the large lcd screen as there is no other display to take your picture with. Overall its a great camera with many features at a low price. ...

The LCD went within a month after I bought it in UK and I arrived in Philippines. Now I have to find a service center here. It wasnt knocked or mistreated, just the LCD stopped working. Not bad after only one month!!!! Now I have to buy another camera as the Kodak hasnt even got a view finder. Just Point and shoot, good to take photos.... NOT!!!!
I knew the camera was too good to be true!! I suppose you only get what you pay for...
Next time pay more and get a decent camera!!! ...

Very good buy. Menus are intuitive, something that is hard to find these days. I bought the bundle and am very satisfied with it. If one likes to pick at nits the date keeps getting cut off on the Picture but that is very minor. Battery life is very short but that is overcome by having rechargables handy and the camera can be recharged on the Printer?Dock. All in All a very good by for us amateur photographers. ...

I cannot fault this camera. The EasyShare C613 is a lightweight camera with a plastic case. It comes with 2 batteries that don't last very long, so order your rechargables to avoid disappointment.
I knew how to use all the functions on the camera without picking up the manual, and within about 5 minutes. It really is that simple to use. The menus are simple and the important features like reviewing and deleting photos are accesible simply by pressing ... ...and of very high quality. There is no need to spend anymore to get better pictures, these really are superb.
The screen is large lcd, and the feature modes for taking shots are extensive. For example, you can choose self-portrait mode, firework mode, snow scene mode and even close up of flowers mode.
I can highly recommend this camera. Easily worth more than it's price. ...

...made no difference! I emailed Kodak for help but all they could offer me was for me to call their customer services whilst sitting at my computer over an 0870 phone call! I thought i'd got a good deal on it but when the software didnt even work and pictures couldn't therefore be uploaded onto my pc, realised there must be a problem somewhere and it would have to be returned. My first proper experience with digital camera's therefore not a good one!
... ...a large viewing screen. Buttons good for those with dainty fingers like myself but not my b/f ! The user manual was very brief so had to figure out how to use the camera via trial and error. I couldnt tell you of the picture quality as I was unable to upload them and save them onto my pc so cannot make proper judgement on this.
If anybody knows of a good easy to use digital camera - i would very much appreciate to know its details!
