Advantages: good quality photos, good features for a low cost camera Disadvantages: takes ages to focus, bright flash
...a camera it was my Kodak CX7330 which is a really good digital camera. The only problem with it was that I wanted a camera with more advanced features and that one only having a 3x optical zoom it just wasn't enough for me anymore. I went on Amazon and started researching all of the cameras that weren't too pricey but with good features. Unfortunately I didn't have enough for a Canon camera but I did however stumble across the Kodak Z650.
The reason ... ...The good thing with these Kodak camera's unlike any other is that they only run on 2x AA batteries which is great because I use my rechargeable batteries but I know some of the more fancier camera's have special batteries which cost a lot more.
So the appearance of the camera, it looks very professional that's for sure. It is all silver and the lens sticks out a lot which is obviously for the bigger zoom. The back of the camera has an LCD screen. ...

Advantages: durability, amount of zoom and modes Disadvantages: lack of close up abilities and music it plays (but can be turned off)
I was initially attracted to this model because of the amount of diverse modes, pixels and price under £200 (depending if you shop around, that was the cheapest I could find at the time I bought it).
But after using it for a couple of years this is what I would say about it…..
Ease of use:
I used the camera straight away without using instructions and just fiddled my way through learning how to use it, but I would encourage reading the instructions ... ...and what everything does and means (as with a lot of cameras). This camera is a point and shoot which makes it extremely easy to take good quality photos at a click of a button but you need a steady hand or a tripod if you want to get the best out of this camera.
Pixels:
This camera boasts 6.0 or 6.1 pixels which at the time I bought it was the best, but now you can get higher qualities….but 6.0 pixels and above you can't tell the difference in ...

Quick review of Kodak EASYSHARE Z650
Good simple camera. It is not a DSLR so dont expect too much, but for days out, taking a combination of landscape and people photos it is certainly worthwhile.
It probably falls in the "creative compact" range, but it is a bit bulky. With practice, using the Aperture Priority mode leads to by far the best quality pictures. ...

Review of Kodak EASYSHARE Z650
Advantages: Great value for money, takes brilliant pictures Disadvantages: Not great with low light
This is my first 'proper' digital camera and it was such good value - all the other cameras with 10x optical zoom and 6+ megapixels are at least in the £200 range and I got this one for about £150. Maybe people are put off by the bulkiness (i.e. it looks like an SLR) but it's really quite small.
There are lots of different options, making it a good camera for people with some knowledge of photography, and also the beginner. It has a PASM mode which ... ...to get different effects. It also has a range of set modes, such as Sport, Snow, Night Landscape. etc. The focussing is very good, as it seems to have a sixth sense about what I want to focus on. It can also focus on object only millimetres away from the lens, which is even better than it claims.
I have taken some great pictures with this camera - flowers close up with rain drops on; bees in flight; amazing landscapes with vivid colour (thanks to ...

Kodak offer all the accessories you could want to go with this camera e.g. the dock, printer, rechargeable batteries, bags and memory cards.
In summary, this is a top of the range point and shoot camera with versatility for the more ambitious user at a very reasonable price. It is loaded with functionality and don't forget that awesome zoom! I would recommend this product to anyone who cared to ask me. ...

Advantages: Wealth of features, striking looks, zoom and sensor resolution Disadvantages: Knowledge of photographic principles needed to negotiate manual settings.
The Easyshare Z650 is a good-looking camera, and will catch the eye with its large lens and professional looks. It has 6.1MP resolution along with a 10X optical zoom - more than enough for any amateur photographer. The professional lens is another bonus - shots are clear and crisp, as one would expect! This is not all though - by choosing the manual setting, you can alter various factors, such as shutter speed etc, yourself to achieve the perfect shot. Using these manual settings requires a knowledge of photographic principles, but they are simple to use. Teamed with a 2GB SD card, the camera is good for around 1200 photos - battery life is also good considering the specification. This camera has too many features to go into great detail ...

Advantages: Great quality pictures and ease of use Disadvantages: Slow focus, and slow to reset after a pic is taken on high definition
I moved up to this camera as an inbetweener - after my cheaper one, the next step before buying an all-out professional camera some day. I have been very impressed with the results as a whole - picture quality is very good, and once you've accustomed yourself to the settings it's very easy to take good photographs in a jiffy. As well as automatic settings, the camera offers the facility to do certain manual manipulations too which someone with more ... ...learning! For its price this is definitely value for money. One of the great features is the Sports setting - I find that I can take pictures from a moving car on the highway and still get good results most of the time. The setting I most use is the Auto, set to Landscape for wider views and ensuring the background is also in focus, or to Macro ...

Advantages: Very cheap for a middle to high end camera Disadvantages: Terrrible in dark situations
I have been a amature/semi-pro photographer for about 3 years now. Although i would not recommend this camera for profesional use, it is a very nifty little piece. Very easy to just pick up and use for those quick snapshots, but also has a wide range of programming features to help with tricker shots.
I have used the camera for over a year now and have had no problems with it at all. Its incredibly durable after a few nasty drops and bangs only ... ...extra lenses and filters to attach to make your photos look that much more professional. I can rave on about this camera having great features and programability but it has one major flaw that really puts me it. It is terrible in dark situations. Even with the flash some pictures can look blurry and distorted. After some tweaking some pictures can be made to look viewable, but in my opinion its not worth it. If you a looking for a summer holiday ...

...shape and size of the Kodak Z650 as it resembles an SLR camera however for parents or photographers who aren't very graceful with their equipment this can be and added quality as this camera with it's unique design is less likely to fall apart if it gets clunked around in a bag or accidentally bumped against another object.

I could only find one technical fault with this camera that you may wish to take into account when comparing it with others - There is no type of anti motion mechanism which can be a problem if you're trying to zoom in a lot on an object or if you don't have steady hands.
I would suggest looking into ...

...cameras on the market, the kodak z650 takes a clear picture everytime (even if your moving). The menu allows you to select what mode of picture you wish to take and away you go. You dont really need to read the manual as it is that easy to use. The camera is excellent for taking pictures far away with the brillant 10x opitcal zoom. The Kodak Easyshare is the best camera I have ever used, 6.1 megapixels doesnt sound that good i know, but It really does the job. The 10x optical zoom is a great feature and really makes this camera great for high end photos, only problem i have is that the flash can make objects look to white.
