    Advantages Advantages Taste

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not sure how many units are in each bottle

I'm not a fan of cider and would never usually pick it. I'm more a spirits and alcohol kind of girl, especially vodka. However, I had seen these lurking in the supermarket for some time so I finally decided to take the plunge and buy a few a couple of months back. Since then I have never looked back and these and they are now my first choice of drink! Kopparberg is a cider company which is famous for its pear cider, they also produces apple cider, winter fruits cider and strawberry and lime cider. This particular flavour is one of the more difficult ones to find but I have bought it in the ... more

Advantages Advantages refreshing, fruity, tasty, not always that expensive

Disadvantages Disadvantages Pricey in some pubs

I'm not a big cider drinker and only normally have the stella cidre if I'm going to drink cider. I ended up trying this at my granddaughters engagement party last year. I wasn't actually sure what it was at first as it's really sweet and fruity rather than having a more tangy cider taste so I thought it was an alcho-pop or something like that. Since my initial meeting with this brand, I have tried their other varieties including the pear cider and the strawberry and lime flavour. I like the strawberry and lime a lot but I'm not overly keen on the pear cider. I think I prefer the sweet fruity ... more

Advantages Advantages Very easy drinking, tastes like fizzy pop, low volume of alcohol, reasonably priced

Disadvantages Disadvantages You can't taste the apples, quite sweet, would get sickly after a while

We went to my partner's parents house last weekend for some tea and a few drinks, and as we both drink cider his dad had got us a range of different flavoured ciders to try. One of them was this Kopparberg Mixed Fruits drink which I'd never seen before. We usually shy away from this kind of cider, as they tend to not really taste of cider but instead are really sugary and sickly sweet, but obviously it would have been rude not to try it so we gave it a go! This is a Swedish cider, which is a blend of apples, raspberry and blackcurrant. Apparently Kopparberg is a town in Sweden which is where ... more

    Advantages Advantages Sweet, refreshing, tasty!

Disadvantages Disadvantages No apples- no good if this is an issue for you

*What is this Cider about then?* Premium Cider Kopparberg with Mixed fruit made in sweden using soft water and fermented apples with a touch of blackcurrant and raspberry. I first came across this drink in a pub with one of my friends who had brought it. He actually raved about it and was like "taste this! Oh my days!" (It may have been the drink talking here) but I did, and I have to say, it was really nice. So following that, I decided to pop to the shop, and buy a bottle to try for myself. There was one problem, I couldn't remember the flavour my friend had given me to try, there was one ... more

Advantages Advantages Very fruity, Smooth, Widely Available

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be pricy in certain bars.

I visited Denmark recently and tasted a beverage called "Somersby Apple Cider", it was a fantastic sweet drink which was very enjoyable and refreshing. On my return to the UK I was looking for a similar range of sweet ciders and found the Kopparberg range in my supermarket. First of all I was simply looking for the Kopparberg Apple Cider but my local asda only had Mixed Fruit and the Pear variety. The Mixed Fruit is a cider made with Apples with a hint of Raspberry and Blackcurrent. This particular drink was in dark 500ml glass bottles, on opening you get the sweet fruity smell of the ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent Taste , Easy to Drink

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be expensive

Kopparberg Summer Fruits is a delicious cider , it is produced in Sweden , it has a nice fruity flavour and differentiates from other ciders on the market because it isn't as heavy on the stomach and because it leaves a nice pleasent aftertaste. It is 4% and a 500ml bottle would have 2 units of alcohol , however it can be difficult to find , there is more availability of it in 500ml cans , which are usually priced 50p cheaper so if you can get cans , you will make a saving. You will notice that the pear flavour kopparberg is cheaper , but be careful before using the cheaper alternattive ... more
