    Advantages Advantages Portable synthesiser to create songs on the go!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages If you switch it of it won't safe your loops!

    The Kaossilator is a portable music synthesiser. It has a jack for your headphones and runs with AA batteries. All you do is switch it on and turn the jog dial to change between beats, sounds and ambience tunes. you can loop individual sounds and record new sounds to it and create your own song on the go. It can easily be connected to your MAC or PC so you can record your loops into your sound recording software for exapmle into logic or garage band and rearrange the loops there if necessarry.     Disadvantages Disadvantages 100 patches is a bit limiting, No MIDI implementation, comes with no AC Adaptor

    The Korg Kaossilator has really proved to be worth the money. Although only containing about 100 different patches, (grouped as 20 Lead, 10 Acoustic, 20 Bass, 10 Chord, 20 SE [Special Effects], 10 Drum, and 10 Pattern), its portability(uses four AA batteries for on the go usage) and simplicity (if you can slide your finger, then you can be a master on this machine) for a synth cannot be matched. It's worked by you basically picking a sound, whether it be a lead synthesizer sound or bass-drum sound, and sliding your finger across the pad to make different pitches with the sound.
