I’m not a huge fan of processed food but I really do like these Dairylea Dunkers from Kraft foods. You can buy individual packs or, like I have, packs of three. They come in a variety of flavours; salt and vinegar, pizza, smokey bacon and original. I have tried the salt and vinegar. Your pack of three comes in a folded cardboard case which says ‘dairylea’ in the top right corner above that is the Kraft logo and below it in big yellow letters it say ‘Dunkers’. Underneath that is the flavour ‘Salt ‘n’ Vinegar’ and a picture of one of the ... more

Advantages Advantages The cheese spread dip gains a new dimension

Disadvantages Disadvantages It can get messy

Do you remember the horror you felt in childhood when different foods on a plate were allowed to TOUCH EACH OTHER? The sheer revulsion caused by the baked beans invading the fish fingers' territory, or the sausages getting friendly with the mash? As a littl'un I don't think I would have liked Dairylea Double Dunkers at all. The potential for the salsa to get in the cheese spread and vice versa just doesn't bear thinking about. As a sophisticated adult, however (well, as sophisticated as you can be while dipping crisps into Dairylea out of a Pokemon lunch box at your terminal), I find the ... more

Advantages Advantages Great source of calcium, great quick snack, great cartoon cow!

Disadvantages Disadvantages I couldn't work out exact nutritional info!

No that is not the name of a basketball team! That is my catchy title for this opinion on Dairylea Dunkers – the Smokey Bacon kind, made by Kraft. Now, there are a few varieties available: The original breadsticks Smokey bacon Salt ‘n’ vinegar Pizza crackers Jumbo chipsticks But what are they? They are a slim white container that is split into two sections (rather like the muller fruit corners). The larger section takes up about ¾’s of the container and is filled with dipping sticks, which change depending on your choice of dunker. In this case the dippers are crisp ... more

When my grandsons comes to visit, which is more or less daily they don’t always want anything too filling to eat or maybe they just expect something a little different because they are visiting nan and granddad. We decided to buy some dairylea dunkers as they appear to be favourites with all of them. I suppose we are lucky that they all like cheese as it’s good for them and better than snacking on crisps and sweets. The dairylea dunkers come in a plastic container that’s roughly five and half inches long. The lid is a foil top in blue with a yellow picture of one of the dunkers in the cheese ... more

Advantages Advantages Good for packed lunches.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some of the cheese dip is always left by my son.

I have a 7 year old son who is very fussy with his eating. He has packed lunch to take to school as he did not eat the school dinners when I was paying for them. I am always looking for something easy to put in the lunchbox and healthy ish and I find Dairylea Dunkers ideal. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I have bought Dairylea Dunkers before, but I like to vary what I am buying and had not bought them for a while. What caught my eye this time was, not only were they BOGOF in Tescos, but there was also a new variety that I had not tried.Dairylea Dunkers, baked crisps. What are Dairylea Dunkers? ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ... more

Advantages Advantages Low Fat, Low In Calories

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not Suitable For People With Certain Allergies

I have always been a big fan of Dairylea Cheese Spread and used to enjoy the Triangles on a slice of bread when I was a kid. As an adult I have continued to buy the Cheese Spread occasionally but tend to buy it in a tub rather than the triangles. In recent years I have become aware of other similar products within this Dairylea range appearing on the shelves and one such product is Dairylea Dunkers which, despite them being around for quite a while I only actually tried these for the first time last week. The Product Dairylea Dunkers are as a soft cheese dip with a Potato and Corn snack. The ... more

Dairylea dunkers fromage frais I have been a fan of dairylea since my teens, i used to make myself some toast and then add dairylea slices and put them in the microwave till melted, you might think that it is disgusting but i actually thought they were lush. I happened to be walking through my local asda store when i came across some offers, yoghurts only £1, i thought bargain! and then there was a shelf full of dairylea dunkers for a £1 as well, now i don't personally buy the dunkers as i think they are a waste of money for what you get but i thought as they are on offer i may aswell have ... more

I noticed Tesco were selling new dairylea dunkers that were salt'n'vinegar twists! When I was little my favourite crisps were helter skelters and the picture on the tubs show a similar twist with some dairylea on it! It costs £1.39 for 4! You usually buy them in the fridge section of Tesco's and in the cheese aisle I got them home and stuck them in the fridge for one or 2 days before I remembered about them! It comes in a little tub with a foil covering which keeps it fresh! There is a little bit for the dairylea cheese. There is roughly enough cheese to allow you to make a sandwich! It comes ... more

Advantages Advantages The greatest thing ever to hit the roof of my mouth!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Packs arent big enough!

Have you ever fancied a savoury snack and been bugged by the fact that there is never an equally yummy dip to go with it? NO?! Are you kidding me! Well I had on many occasions and then one day, when the sun was shining and birds were singing I was graced with the presence of the greatest snack alive! My personal favourites are the Jumbo Munch variety as the sticks are so tasty and satisfying to eat. However if you'd rather try something a little more sophisticated what about the bread stick variety or even pizza sticks. Also Dairylea have now brought out the double dip kind, which incorporates ... more

When I do the weekly shop, I am always on the look out for ‘easy foods’. I.e. things that don’t need a great deal of preparation or cooking. Its not that I am lazy, its just that I am when I’m out and about, I hate having to disrupt my day round meal times. Breakfast and evening meal are very important and we make a point of sitting round the table for both, but at lunch time if I am out, I don’t want to be rushing back to make lunch, so I carry bits n bobs around with me for Jack. The reason being,he is quite a fussy eater and many times I have bought him a ... more
