Advantages: great flavour, spreads easily.
Disadvantages: tub not big enough.. Limited edition

Review of Kraft Philadelphia Blue Cheese

Let's hope they continue with it

Advantages: taste, versatility
Disadvantages: might not be around for ever

I first discovered this product a few weeks ago, and was so impressed I nominated it for inclusion on this page. Being a cheese lover and dieting is not easy - the two do not mix! I tried the lite cheese spreads and find it hard to believe that they are marketed as cheese due to complete lack of taste. When I saw this I thought I'd try it as blue cheese has such a distinctive flavour I thought it would be hard to disguise it into the usual bland ...
...disappointed - it really does taste of blue cheese and because of the strong flavour, you only need a little to make a satisfying snack. I have only seen it on sale in Tesco's to date, and am very concerned that it is packaged as limited edition. Hopefully, if enough people become fans they will introduce it as a regular brand.
