Appalling customer service if you get a dodgy one

Advantages: Could be a good monitor, colours are crisp on games
Disadvantages: LGE's customer service is manned by monkeys

LG 795FT+. Great reviews all round. Let's buy one. Hooray, it looks greta on games. Nice colours! Oh hang on, the moire on this is terrible (makes it look like solid blocks of colour are interlaced between white and dark weave) Surely it must be a fault? Let's try and get it replaced shall we? I had contacted LGE about getting my monitor replaced, who put me through to their middleman returns unit, Brands Electronics. I phoned Brands on Tuesday ...
...me with the monitors that LG give them, leftover stock and such like. And LG weren't giving them anything that was as young as mine. They said they would get on to LG and get some younger ones in, and I could have one of those. Of course, they said they'd "ring me back when they had them" Translation: "Go away." So I'm going to have to pester them repeatedly to get a younger monitor. However, my beef was with LG, so I phoned them up myself afterwards, ...

Look around for the best price!

Advantages: Cheap, Excellent picture quality adn superb touch-sensitive controls.
Disadvantages: None so far!

I would highly recomend this monitor, but be wary before you buy. I paid just under £220 for it from Scan, but I have seen it advertised elsewhere for up to £317. The monitor has an excellent, crisp display (0.24dp). The on-screen controls are easy to use, especially with the touch-sensitive buttons. Instead of buying a cheap 19" monitor for the same price, opt for this. The advantages are obvious upon the first time you use it. Easy to set up, ...

Flatron Monitors

Advantages: Amazing Image Quality, easy on the eyes, a monitor for life
Disadvantages: bit pricy, and very heavy

When it comes to monitors, you don't want to be buying the cheapest thing you can get your hands on. Its something that you look at for hours each day, so it needs to be something that your happy with. The Flatron monitors are very impressive. The first thing that attracted me to it was its image quality. It seemed to stand out from all the other monitors on display. The images it was producing were very sharp, and pleasing to the eye. After reading ...
...the first monitor to have a perfectly flat screen. Most flatscreens are only flat on the bit that you look at, the Flatron screen is flat on both sides. It also has a very sharp image quality, 17" screen and digital soft-touch controls. This is a very impressive bit of kit. Its very easy on the eyes to look at and produces very crisp images. This monitor is more pricy then other monitors, but i think its worth it! ...

Best monitor ever?

Advantages: Clear Sharp Picture
Disadvantages: Large footprint

Could be. This LG flatron monitor really is a fantastic product. It has a 4 port USB hub on the back for those who are running out of ports on their PC itself. The quality of the picture is very good and the flat screen means that there is very little light relection off it. The flat screen also gives a larger viewing area. The monitor controls can all be controlled from within windows. The base has a nice stylish look to it also. It is quite a heavy ...

LG Flatron 795FT Plus

Advantages: Flat, 17', good looking colors
Disadvantages: Big

3 years ago i bought LG Flatron 795FT Plus. And i'm still don't need anything else. LCD quality and response time isn't very good now. Better buy good CRT than poor LCD for the same price. LG Flatron 795FT Plus is one of the best solutions choosing monitor. Some specifications: 17-inch, 100% flat, 0.24mm stripe pitch, USB HUB. Using USB HUB you can connect 4 USB devices more. It's very practical for usb mouse, keyboard, scanner, digital camera and ...
