Advantages Advantages Great gadgets incorporated - keeps kids (big & small!) entertained for hours

Disadvantages Disadvantages No games incorporated as standard and sometimes iffy network coverage (if you live in the woollybacks like me!)

I washed my Nokia 3510i! A stupid move by anyone's standards I have to admit. The only mitigating circumstance I can claim is that I was on holiday, desperate to get down by the pool, lie out in the sun and drink a nice cold glass of white wine. I therefore forgot completely that I had left my mobile phone in the pocket of the trousers I had travelled in and shot the lot in the washing machine. Needless to say the Nokia didn't like it! At all! We held a moving little memorial service for it, cried a few tears... then drank some more wine. There is a plus side to my stupidity though. I got a ... more

Advantages Advantages Video Calling,Video Capture, MP3 Player, Data Cable Connectivity,Java application compatibility,Internal multi-detail phonebook with support for avatar or photo caller ID

Disadvantages Disadvantages No WAV playback, No Internet Access, No Applications Access, No Bluetooth support

Finally! 3G users can carry a phone around, which can provide us with a host of multimedia and Internet-based services and no longer be embarrassed by the phone itself. From the moment I received the box, I was impressed. I got the phone, the charger, car accessories, and I even got a data cable and cd to sync the phone with my pc. A rotatable camera module is located in the middle section of the clamshell hinge area, which is the one and only lens available to any of the phone’s imaging capabilities. The VGA camera can be used to take pictures, shoot video clips, and provide the input source ... more

Advantages Advantages Size, Good buttons, Battery, Rotating camera, Easy to store contacts

Disadvantages Disadvantages Speakerphone too quiet, No Bluetooth, No JAVA games included, Network coverage,

Review I really liked this phone so I hope this review is not too biased. I found the phone neither too small nor too big. I find really small phone hard to text people with as the buttons are too small but the buttons on the LGU8110 are of a good size and very responsive. I found the headset a bit fiddly to use. Make sure you put the headset in properly as I’d find the rubber cover would get in the way a bit and push the headset out which was a pain in mid-video call. Check the network coverage in your area. I managed to make video calls consistently from Bluewater in Kent, which is quite ... more

Advantages Advantages Stylish, approachable interface, good feature range

Disadvantages Disadvantages Flaws let it down, litle memory and bad SMS functionality

The phone is simple to use, attractive and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the software and design, but sadly it does let itself down on a number of key areas. The build of the phone feels poor. Whilst I appreciate the need to keep the weight and bulk of the thing down, and to be fair there haven't as yet been any signs of weaknesses appearing, I do get the impression that this phone will not last beyond my 12 month contact - if indeed it makes it that far. A growing trend in modern phones is that they simply don't last any longer than 'necessary' - they are built to scrape it through ... more

Advantages Advantages It has almost anything that the normal person might need, Easy to use and simple

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not Bluetooth enabled, slightly larger than some of the other 3 phones out, no games included

I decided to buy a new 3g phone and spent ages looking around shops, trying to decide on one that was not too complicated, frustrating or expensive. If this sounds familiar and you are in the same boat than this is a brilliant phone for you. After little practice, you can master the buttons easily and navigate around it with no problem. Although not having Bluetooth is a let down, it does have infra-red technology which can be easily used. The phone does everything that a modern phone needs to do and in a simple manner. The camera is of average quality and can produce some good pictures when ... more

Advantages Advantages Smart looking phone with 3G capabilites and numerous features

Disadvantages Disadvantages It is on the 3 network which have a very bad customer service

I used the LG U8110 on the 3 network for 12 months. I found the deal on fabfones.mobiles4everyone.com. The deal was 500 X-net minutes (which means you can use the phone to call any other network at any time of day) for £25 a month and a free LG U8110 mobile. ***LOOKS*** The mobile looks very modern in a lovely silver finish. It has a good quality feel to it. It's quite a big mobile, quite big in depth. However, it's quite lightweight (126g). It has a screen on the outside, so you can see who is calling before opening the flip. You can also see the current time and date and there is an ... more

Advantages Advantages attractive, simple to use, loads of different functions

Disadvantages Disadvantages quite heavy compared to some others i have seen, no bluetooth

The LGU8110 is an attractive but quite heavy flip phone. It comes boxed with a charger, a set of headphones, a USB cable, a carry strap and the handbook. The phone has a 4 way navigation key and another nine key buttons on the keypad for easy access around the phone. The left hand side of the phone houses the volume keys, the camera key and the infra red port. There are 2 displays, the sub LCD screen which is visible when the phone is closed and the main LCD screen which is visible when the phone is opened. The thing that I like most about this phone is that you can record and playback video ... more

Advantages Advantages good looking, easy to use, reliable, good features

Disadvantages Disadvantages can seem big, no blue tooth

I have owned this phone for 2 years now and I love its simplicity. It is simple yet fashionable. It is so covenient to text, call or take pictures with good features i.e. timer, calculator and calendar. However, the other day it was a bit embarrassing between my friends as this phone does not benefit from blue tooth! This is a bit of downside and also sometimes I feet that the phone is big and hard to fit in a pocket but it is reliable and will not let you down. You can record sound, take pictures and videos. There is a good night mode. The reception quality is generally good and its ... more

    Advantages Advantages Looks good

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Abit bulky

I used this phone on contract for 12months, however after the first few the novelty of having a flip phone wore off. I mean, don't get me wrong its a good phone but having to flip everytime you want to use it drove me crazy! And, once uve flipped it the phone is far to long. Also the joint wears down pretty easily too so becomes quite stiff after a while. Even so it prevented me from calling random people or pressing random buttons by mistake when in my bag/pocket. A great feature of this phone is the camera lens...it rotates! Which comes in handy if you want to take a pic of yourself or with ... more

Advantages Advantages great looks, very stylish and one of the smalliest three phones availible

Disadvantages Disadvantages the memory is very bad and the battery life is really poor

The phone has got many features like vidoe calling, camera, mp3, avatar images and polyphonic ringtones. The Phone is reasonably light and small to fit on the palm of your hand. it has got 500 phonebook memory. It has the option of blocking an unwanted caller and it has a call wait option so that the other person can wait for you to get off the phone. It has a silver casing. It has rotating camera with a flash. it has a feel good factor about it. The downfall of this item is that it has not got alot of memory on it and the flashdoes not go further than 10cm. It has got a Infared port but with ... more
