LG HT305SU

Im very pleased with this product. I bought it a few months ago to compliment my TV and its brilliant. Ive only watched this system via a HDMI cable and the upscaling of dvds is fantastic. Its actually better at upscaling than my sony playstation 3 which is supposed to be great when playing dvds. It can also be used through the one scart socket but i imagine the picture quality wouldn't be fantastic. The sound is great it can reach a high level of volume and still produce quality sound. *The unit went dead after only 30 minutes!* Well this was a first for us, as usually I am very lucky with electrical equipment, so were do I start, as my other experiences of LG as a company are good. Its seemed a nice compact unit, offering all the usual DVD/CD usage, also offering USB connection & an FM Radio, which was easy to use. The number of speakers are good, being 5 small voice type & a bass/subwoofer offering good sound.... Its was easy to connect up we used the HDMI option for better picture quality, rather than the more dated Scart connection. *There is no Optical connection on ... more
