I've owned this phone for the past 6 months and find it to be quite user friendly, although some of the functions do take some time to get used to. The Roll-Bar at 1st seems a little fiddly. However after a few weeks I did get the hang of it. You are able to customize the LG a little, there is a favorites section so that you can add such things as alarm clock etc...this means that you can easily access this by pressing the right hand button on roll bar and then scroll down to the application that you are looking for. Instead of going via the main menu. Phone recommended but I do miss my Razor!

Advantages: Stylish, slim with large screen

looks fantastic and has everything a true techno needs. the built in bluetooth and mp3 player make this a versatile little freind to have around in a very sexy casing

Im being totally honest. This phone looks good on the outside, but when you dive a little deeper into the specification and performance of this piece of hardware it does let it down severely. Extremely slow loading times if you have a few pages of images or videos stored. Does not have MP4 Video Recording (Only poor qaulity 3gp) - Although there is an MP3 Player on the phone which is useful, only a few medium sized MP3's can be put into it. (because of the very low internal moble phone memory of about 45MB). Even with a 1gb Memory card inserted into the phone, it is still not possible to play songs stored on the card with the MP3 player. Which is kind of a bummer to say the least.

Advantages: Stylish, Packed full of features and memory, becoming more reasonably priced.
Disadvantages: Mirror screen makes outdoor use difficult.

...the best deals on the LG Shine are to be had in the "Contract Phone" area. I got a deal on the phone through the price comparison site Kelkoo and pay £35 a month with 500 mins and 500 texts included as well as a "free" handset. The best bit is that there are quarterly "cashbacks" in the deal so including these I actually pay only £17.50 a month. ...the pink model of the LG Shine (KE970) on orange pay as you go, I think this phone is fantastic, looks great with it's highly individual mirror screen and brushed metal finish, talk quality is very good, I'm addicted to the bubble soccer game on it!! This phone is very attractive to look at, and will be fine for you if you aren't too much of a technology freak. However, the problems I found are, for one thing, it is very basic. Id has everything you'd need in a modern phone, but no little extras to give it an edge over the competition. The other downside is that the screen scratches very easily and it's very noticable, so it's not a good phone to have rattling around in your handbag!

LG Shine (KE970) is an elegant, stylish and easy to use mobile phone. Includes a 2 mega pixel camera, MP3 player, games and lots more. When the phone is closed, the screen doubles up as a mirror, perfect for us girls. The only problem, as with all phones but more so this one, it trying to prevent it from being scratched. However, this is easily avoided with the use of a phone sock, etc. The battery lasts a long time on it and charges up very quickly. All in all, I am very pleased with this phone and would consider buying other LG products in the future.

Advantages: Large, clear screen (acts a mirror), Great camera, Good interface
Disadvantages: Low battery talktime.

The LG Shine is similar to the LG Chocolate in some ways, such as having fantastic looks and innovative design. However due to a few niggling problems with the chocolate phone the Shine is sooo much better! (Problems such as too quiet and accidentally pressing buttons btw). This phone is absolutely amazing! I got it for xmas and have already fallen in love with it! I bought it from the Virgin Mobile website for just under £100. I had to change network to Virgin, but it has been worth it so far.
