Advantages: Look, Design, Screen size, Disadvantages: None at all
...I am talking about is LG Viewty. The search began for the best possible price. I decided against getting the phone from Ebay as I wanted a brand new one which was boxed and never been open before.
So why this model
I chose this model purely because another family member has it and is always saying how good the phone is. I had borrowed it for a few days to see how good it really was and to be honest it's a phone that makes you go wow really! ...

The LG Viewty..!
Why..?
To be honest there was no reason I got this phone other than the fact the guy in the shop sold is so well to me and I loved the fact it was totally touch screen..! It was mainly the price plan that sold it to me, but the phone despite its size is very stylish..!

Advantages: Decent sized phone, does calls and text messages adequately Disadvantages: Really doesn't live up to hype, LG support non-existent

PC Connectivity
The LG software is nothing special, but is sadly lacking in capabilities. Compared to what I was able to do with various pieces of software with the K800i, the LG PC Suite can do the basic set up and basic file maintenance. On other phones, having that extra functionality is a luxury, but with the LG's operating software being less than intuitive, extra functionality in the software is a must.

...and is more "tweakable". LG i'm sure will bring an update for the handset out soon and it's only going to improve things. It has a nice Music player which is functional, easy to use/read and offers playlists & visualisations.
My handset being on orange has been modified to include slightly different menu items. Most service providers do this with their handsets, sort of a customisation of them. Instead of Music mine says "Orange Music" and has ...

Advantages: QWERTY; touchscreen; powerful camera; 3G Disadvantages: QWERTY can't be used at all points in phone; poor stylus storage
I have recently got an LG Viewty (aka LG KU990), courtesy of Outside Line, to review and keep.
The main features of this HSDPA (3G) mobile is the touchscreen and on-screen QWERTY keyboard. In addition to this, it boasts a 5MP camera with a proper flash and a low light setting up to ISO 800.
The phone comes with a USB lead, headphones and charger.
Dimensions and stylus: small and lipstick-like stylus
The Viewty is fairly small, much smaller ...

Advantages: Look, feel, cool interface, features, amazing mobile camera. Disadvantages: Battery life, slightly fiddly but you get used to it quickly.
First off I have read a few reviews of this mobile phone prior upgrading and signing a year of my life over to owning it and was somewhat puzzled by the mix of reviews that I came accross on various sites. There seems to be a split of opinion over this shiny black marvel. As you can see from some of my other reviews, I am partial to shiny black items. Some people saying that they wouldn't touch it, no pun intended, and others loving every minute. ...

Advantages: Camera, Screen Size, Music, Free Internet Disadvantages: Battery Life
...The choice was between an LG Cookie and this phone, however, I wanted a phone that had similar features to my old Samsung G600 and I decided to go for this one! I bought it from Tesco on the Vodafone network as it was on offer for £97.86 (once you'd spent £30 in store). I got home and opened the box and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. All I got was the manual, Vodafone booklet, phone, battery, charger & USB cable. I thought they could ...

Advantages: 5 Megapixel camera, Video Camera, Looks great, It has Personality Disadvantages: A bit out-dated already!?
When I wanted a new phone a couple of months ago I had only a few needs; It wasn't allowed to be a blackberry (My sister has a Blackberry Storm and it would be horrific if our phones clashed), It had to play music, It had to take a decent picture and it absolutely had to have a touch-screen. Well It met my needs. So I should be absolutely delighted shouldn't I?....Ummm well yes, I mean no, actually yes....
It's a great phone, It really is. It ...

Advantages: Lots of media to choose from and easy to navigate around Disadvantages: Can sometimes be slow and therefore freze on continous use on same button
I first saw this phone when it came out a few years ago and it had a price tag of around £300, but when I noticed it the other day in Tesco for just over £100 I snapped it up!
I have now had this phone for just less than a year now, it has many features and has easy access to all these features through the 'touch screen navigating'!
I'll start with the 5 mega pixel camera, personally I think it takes clear photos, with its 'autofocus' technology, ...

The LG has a 3 inch touch screen display, which is surprisingly sensitive. You get a stylist with the handset but I have rarely used mine as you can easily use your finger for most things. They phone also supports handwriting recognition which is surprisingly accurate but if you don’t like using handwriting recognition then there is the option of an on-screen keyboard, you can choose between a normal computer keyboard ...

Advantages: Clear screen, easy to navigate menus, good quality camera Disadvantages: Tinny suond playing MP3, software glitches, unable to view screen in daylight
I've owned this phone now for around 12 months and am loving it, this is my first touch screen phone.
First off, I have found the screen to be large (3.5") very clear with excellent colour reproduction. On the downside, the screen cannot be viewed in direct/bright sunlight or even outside on overcast days - this is a big disappointment, as it makes viewing messages when you are out extremely difficult. When I say I can't see anything I mean it, ...

...replaced it with the fantastic LG Viewty. You might be thinking I am crazy. The N95 is supposed to be way more feature packed, it has GPS for example. You could be thinking that there is good reason for them to charge £49.99 for the N95, when the Viewty is free, but the truth is I would happily pay a handset fee for the Viewty, it is far superior to the N95.
