    Advantages Advantages Superb picture quality.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't tilt as it should.

I’ve never really been a big fan of keeping up with any technology apart from computers just for the sake of it, and so it was only a couple of years ago when my sad old-school monitor finally gave up on me, that I decided to free up some space and take the plunge with an LCD one. After looking around on the Internet and in several shops I decided on the L194WT from LG. I made my purchase from PC world, and at the time it cost me £120, however you can now buy online for a good deal less than that by looking around in the usual places. I’ve just had a quick look and come across one site selling ... more

This monitor is very good at handling , media such as HDTV , TV and DVD movies , i am very impressed with thi LG monitor , as all LG products very very good support and very pleasing design. i would highly recommend this monitor is your in to gaming or like to watch movies. one slight thing i didn't like it takes awhile to power back on after going in to standby mode. other than that quite simply a high spec dream. Money wise, this monitor offers very good value. You should be able to shop around and pick one up for about £130 or less. This monitor has a large number of features to keep the ... more

Advantages Advantages Quick response time, excellent contrast ratio.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Off-Colour

Value for money wise, this monitor is excellent. In technical terms, it has a pretty standard brightness of 800cmd2, but it's contrast ratio of 2000:1 blows most TFTs out of the water, and it also has a quick 5ms response time, which means you won't get ghosting with quick-moving images like games or movies. It's good-looking too; it has a thin silver frame unlike bulky monitors from Dell or BenQ or MultiQ; meaning it will sit on your desk and not be a complete eyesore. Input-wise, it has a Digital and an Analog (DVI and D-Sub/VGA) meaning newer DVI cards can input to it as well as any other ... more

4 Stars Quick review of LG L194WT by liljangofett 30/07/2007
I saw one of these on ebay and they didn't have enough details, so i came here and read the review and decided to buy it! It is a quality bit of kit. Crystal clear pictures and the resolution can go nice and high. Only problem I has with it is the settings buttons are on the back. Makes it look sleeker but not very good when you're trying to set it up. Although the auto adjust setting is really cool.

Advantages Advantages Easy to setup, excellent refresh rate, well designed & good looking piece of kit, value for money

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

The LGL194WT is a great monitor which provides great colour quality and transition and allows you to have your videos, games, dvds and other multimedia played on a screen which allows you to truly appreciate it. The monitor is easy to setup and looks very nice, sleek and not at all bulky like some monitors of this size in the market. The monitor was not the cheapest option available but I felt it was time to pay out and get a quality monitor with the upgrades I was doing on the pc and so paid out about £130 to get a respected name and one I felt would last and I have not been disappointed. The ... more

Advantages Advantages SLIM LINE, EASY TO USE

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can't think of any.

This is a 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor. It has a resolution of 1140x900 i have to set mine to 1024 x 768 as my pc does not recognise the recommended resolution, but it works great even at this resolution. It is currently available from £169.99 - £199.99. I fell lucky with mine, it was on a display with ex store models in a well known computer store. Fortunately for me, the store assistant said that it was a 17" monitor and I paid £140.00 for it. So it is definately worth checking the bargin areas of shops it also goes to show that store assistants do not always know what they're talking about ... more
