The LG KE970 'Shine' Mobile phone I've recently traded my faithful old LG chocolate for the LG KE970, also known as the LG Shine. After having my previous phone a year- I was so impressed with LG as mobile phone providers it felt an obvious choice to stick with LG and upgrade to the Shine from LG's 'Black Label' series. It can be bought from most stores/websites that sell mobile phones and depending on which network you are wanting it on- the price can range from 100pounds right upto 170pounds- and of course if you purchase this along with a contract it would be free. Advantages Aesthetics, slim, small and stylish
Disadvantages Software problems, basic mp3 player, not technologically advanced enough.

Sleek, Sexy, Sophisticated, no I'm not describing my ideal man, I'm talking abouit my new acquisition, the LG Shine KE970. Previously, I've been known to change my phone roughly every 6-8 months, and after spending 6 months on o2 Pay as You Go after my last contracted ended, the pro's of being tied into a monthly contract far outweighed the cons of being on Pay As You Go, even as o2 are constantly bringing out extra incentives to stay on it. Advantages Pretty, hardy and great features for a mid range phone
Disadvantages If you looking for a top range phone you will want to go up a bracket.

Having recently updated to an LG viewty, i thought my shine days were over. However, the problem with a touchscreen phone is that when the screen breaks, its essentially game over. After a touching farewell service (on ebay) i am now back to my lovely little shine. Im not disappointed though. The shine really is a lovely phone. I thought id show homage to it with a little review, so people who are thinking about getting a new phone but dont want to spend a complete fortune would add it to their list of maybes. Advantages easy to use scroller, handy mirror screen, good battery life
Disadvantages scratches lightly showed up on the back

****lg shine KE970**** LG really dont know how to create a bad mobile phone do they? This mobile really was a pleasure to use, with the handy mirror front (perfect for those last minute touch ups before a big date or a meeting!) ladys you know what I mean! It has a gorgeous silver steel finish to it and it gives a complete look of elegance to the user. The brushed steel back compliments the silver keypad and the shiny mirror front. The LG shine is an impressively functional and stylish phone, which I have been more had ever since I purchased it on an O2 contract three months ago. This is a really well finished product whose design will impress you from the moment you take it out of its funky box and put it on charge, where what moments ago looked to be a mirrored face transforms to show you the stylist and fluid flash background wallpapers or electric blue logo. Advantages Beautiful phone, great applications, great calling features.
Disadvantages Gets dirty easily, scrolling is difficult, texting is slow.

This Christmas, I tore off the wrapping paper to find a beautifully simply decorated box, closed uniquely using magnets. Within the box I found a pink phone and numerous accessories. I know what you're thinking. Pink. But this phone is black! I hear you cry. Yes, I know it's black. But mine is pink, and I love it. Not only does it have numerous helpful features within the phone; alarm clocks, various connecting devices, video and camera - but the phone also had a neat reflective screen which came in great handy when I had no mirror available. I got this phone 'free' after upgrading to it when renewing my contract with Orange. I had it for one day, then decided to return it as I really, really hated it. What it looks like I had the pink one, the colour instantly attracted me to it. It has a really big screen which I think is one of the distinguishing features of this phone. It turns into a mirror, hence the 'shine' part of the phone name. It is made of brushed steel which gives it a nice, sturdy feel. I have had this phone now for just over one year and I have to say that I am extremely impressed with it. It looks trendy with its mirror with looks a lot more shiny then it does on the photos, the mirror is also excellent quality and you can see yourself very clearly in it. The actual phone itself is small and surprisingly thin which makes it easy to fit into your pocket or even a small handbag. One of my favourite features of this phone is that when you slide it open the buttons glow a nice blue colour and the contrast of this against the shiny silver metal makes it look very pretty and ... more
