I have been using LoveFilm for about a year after I was offered a two week free trial via the Boots.com website. I thought this would be particularly suitable for me as where I live there is only one DVD rental shop which closes about 6pm and is hard for me to get to. Lovefilm are an internet based DVD rental company. They've also recently started offering game console rentals as well (nearly all PS2 at the moment) which I haven't used, but I'm sure is a good idea as a try before you buy sort of thing. I used Lovefilm last year after trying out most of the other Rental Services and having no success. Joining - I joined Lovefilm with one of free 30 day packages then you have to pay. ...I had a flyer from Lovefilm.com with a promotion code for 30 days free trial. Sounds fantastic to me! I was really sure what I was signing myself up to as I didn't have a clue how it would work! Nothing in this life is free. So why then did Lovefilm offer me a free 3 month trial? 2 DVDs at a time. No late charges or return date. Sounds like a plan. In fact, I extended my membership for a further 3 months for only £15 - that's 6 months of DVDs for £15. Lovefilm love their new customers. Not their old ones though.
