Not for me

ProLathers well, lasts well, multipurpose, not tested...

ContraStinks, left my hair feeling and looking awful.

While on holiday our shampoo was quickly running out as well as my conditioner. I had thought it would last the holiday and that I would get some more of our favourite, I Love Juicy when we were back but it wasn’t too be. As some of you may know from my other Lush reviews, I usually send my other...

Recently I have been trying a little experiment. The idea came to me because I do a lot of travelling on shuttle aircraft between London and Scotland, and for convenience and also for price I don't take hold baggage if I can avoid it. Due to the restrictions on liquids allowed to be carried on...

I've loved lush ever since the store opened in Newcastle a couple of years ago, and even though I don't buy very much from there, I often go in just to smell everything. However a couple of weeks ago I was going down south with my boyfriend to stay with his grandma, and so needed to take some...

Since switching from synthetic shampoos to shampoos containing all or mostly natural products, I was eager to try out Godiva. Godiva is a shampoo and conditioning bar. Round in shape, a bit like a hockey puck, and smells highly to the heavens of Jasmine. The bar is yellow coloured and contains...

I have just reviewed the Lush ‘Big’ Shampoo and mentioned that I used this along with Godiva, and I thought it was about time I reviewed Godiva as I have been using it now for around 3 months so have had enough experience with it to give you my opinion. What made me try Godiva were its good...

Satisfactory

Prosmell, no packaging

Contraeverything else

This is a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner bar from Lush, an environmentally-friendly company selling all sorts of nature-inspired products. With its beautiful bright yellow design and chunks of white cocoa butter, the name was inspired by the legend of a lady called Godiva who rode a horse naked...

ContraNot suitable for all hair types

I tried my first ever Lush Shampoo Bar with the Fresher's Kit that came out last autumn. I always thought the concept was rather odd, but seeing as it came with the kit anyway, I thought why not. The shop assistant, who was helping me choose the right products for me, suggested either Godiva or...

It is not often that I remain loyal to any one particular product. I like a variety in life. So, hey if I go back for a repeat performance of a product I must think it is worth it. I first read about the Shampoo bars in the Lush Times. To be frank, they did not appeal. I remember as a child , my...

“Lush Godiva Shampoo”

published 25/09/2005

ProMade my hair frizz free and kept good shape

ContraI wasn't so keen on the scent!

Well, I must admit I do like Lush products! And on a recent visit to Lush I spent over £15 and got a free Godiva shampoo bar. This is one of Lush' newest shampoo bars and is infact a shampoo and conditioner in 1 bar. This normally retails at £4.50 (the other new Lush 2 in 1 shampoo and...

OK, I'll be the first to admit that I have something of a personal weakness for lush products (doesn't every girl?) but a shampoo bar is something I had never worked up the courage to buy until my final toiletries trip before heading off to university. Packaging Like all Lush products, the bar...

Usually impressed by Lush products, I bought one of these shampoo and conditioner solid bars for a trip to centre parcs to save space. Can't say this product lives up to its expectations! The bright yellow colour is appealing, although the little pieces of orange look a bit strange for a shampoo...

ContraRandom bits of shampoo bar attaching to hair.

Twas good I tell you, twas good! I was on holiday with a friend who had one of these shampoo bars once (not Godiva but abar from lush) and she asked me to try it. I didn't because I thourght it looked soap and I wouldn't risk it on my precious hair (I had my own shampoo). But as things do over a...

ProGorgeous smell, moisturising

Having fallen in love with the gorgeous jasmine smell of 'Flying Fox' shower gel and temple balm (two of Lush's finest products!), I found the allure of this gorgeous golden goddess of a shampoo bar too much to resist. The scent is a beautiful, strong jasmine, which lasts on my hair all day, and...

wow - I saw Godiva in the Lush Times and was waiting not so patiently for it to hit the shelves - and now it has! If you like Flying Fox shower gel, or Youki-Hi bath bomb, you are guaranteed to love this as it is in the same family of Jasmine scented products. It is a real mood-lifter early in...
