terrible customer service!! do think twice before you shop!! they lost the items that i ordered and made some charges on my card. no matter how many times i complained to them, they always relied with the same answer.. "The carrier confirmed all other goods were left in your front porch on 26.09.07. Please let me know if these goods have not been received. I apologise for any inconvenience caused. " it seems like that didn't bother to read my mail at all !

OMG! I've just read a review from someone who was having trouble with a bed...... Last year we decided to order a new bed from lxdirect.com, we ordered it at the beginning of January (around the 3rd) and eventually finished having trouble in June!!!! The bed didn't arrive so I kept ringing them, it was delivered in February so I just thanked the blokes for bringing it eventually & laughed with relief at the fact that I no longer needed to sleep ... Goodness me I wish now that I have read these reviews before I ordered the divan bed. I ordered the item on 11th March 2007 on my account the expected delivery address was 9th April 2007. The 9th came and gone with no delivery of the item. I queried it since the 10th with no satisfactory answer!!!!!!!. Today I requested cancellation of the order and a refund my monies I have already paid and was told that the bed is in transit since the 21st and can not receive a refund until they receive the bed back. Where is the damn bed because I have not received it. THIS IS TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE. SO BE WARN OF THE HORROWS OF ORDERING FROM LX DIRECT. WILL HAVE TO INVOLVE THE MEDIA !!!!!!!!!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The item I ordered was faulty but I was forced to pay for a replacement up front. Collection of the faulty item was arranged 3 times but each time the courier failed to turn up and no explanation was given. Trying to contact LX Direct is diffcult: they do not answer telephone calls at busy times (there is a recorded message telling you to call back later). If you try to email them they take over ... I have used LX Direct for a number of years now and have found absolutely no problems with them. I have bought furniture, white goods, clothing, shoes etc. In fact I was at a loss as to what to buy a relative for Christmas and left it rather late to go shopping. I placed an order for a nice looking display cabinet to put in my living room with LX Direct. The price was okay compared to high street chains like Harvey's and the product looked nicer than what I could find in Argos. I bought a very small item from LX direct and can safely say that I will not be buying anything from them again in spite of their good prices. I ordered an item from LX well in time for my grandchilds birthday. The expected delivery date was a few days before the event so I waited in and nothing arrived.
