Advantages: Shiny, sparkly, kissable lips! Disadvantages: Transfers to boyfriend/wine glass/everything a bit too easily!
...But it wouldn't have hurt L'Oreal to put a bit more thought into these areas, even if only to get ahead of the competition.
'But does it do what it says on the tin?!':
I would recommend this product simply because it does tend to get your lips noticed, and if you're anything like me, when you've made an effort on a night out, it's nice when people comment. It also does live up to its name in that it does make you feel pretty glam (so perhaps I ... ...advert!). I wouldn't say this is a gloss for everyday use (although, I am so taken with the colour I do tend to use it most days!), but it's brilliant for a sparkly, girly night out on the town. Glam Shine retails for £6.99 at Boots, but I've found a number of beauty websites that sell it a bit cheaper, so it might pay to shop around. However the online stores don't always offer the full range of colours (how ever many there might now be in the range!). ...

One of the first cosmetics items I bought in my early teens was a L’Oreal lip gloss called ‘Rouge Pulp.’ It was a subtle rose shade with a soft metallic sheen; a stunning shade which I loved at the time. However, there was one major drawback which put me off L’Oreal lip products right up until this year when I bought Glam Shine. Immediately after applying it I realised why I had avoided L’Oreal for SO long – and I shall explain why in due course. ... ...am constantly on a mission for the perfect lip enhancement, and being a newbie on the market this little gem grabbed my attention with its promises of a ‘dazzling glamorous lip-plumping effect.’ Glam Shine comes in several different colours: • Silver Crystal • Moon Crystal • Clear Crystal • Pure Chrome • Volcano Chrome • Sand Crystal • Carmin Crystal • Mercury Crystal • Opaline Crystal • Virtual Chrome They range from pale beiges and clear whites ...

...does glisten. L'Oreal call the appearance of this gloss their "Advanced crystal shine Technology", well whatever that means, it looks pretty cool. Rather than having specks of glitter in the gloss, it has an all over shine to it, I think I could best describe it to you like the appearance of ice - no actual glitter, but it shimmers. The consistency

The gloss itself is very thick.
So how long does this fab look last?
Basically.... until you've started your first drink. To be honest with you, I found it quite embarrassing looking at my glass half way through my drink, the whole rim of it was plastered in thick slimy gloss, and after picking my drink up a few times, the slime had transferred onto my fingers too, and I felt like a sticky mess!
Although ...

THE PACKAGING:
L'oreal glam shine comes in a 6ml bottle which tapers at the top, it is a clear bottle allowing you to see the colour of the lip gloss inside, I purchased the mercury crystal which is a plummy pink colour. The screw top on the bottle is a dull gold colour and is about the same length as the bottle and contains the applicator. The actual writing on the bottle is not very clear as it is written in gold against the background ... ...the colour you buy as to how clearly you can read what is written on the bottle. Basically it states the name of the product "L'oreal Paris, Glam shine, Dazzling, glamourous lip plumping effect".
THE PRODUCT:
Glam shine gives a high shine finish which keeps your lips moisturised especially in these wintry conditions and has a distinctive fruity fragrance which seems to appeal to the male of the species!! so for kissability I would rate 10/10 staying ...

Advantages: V. glittery, lasts longer than most lip glosses, intense colours Disadvantages: none
L’Oreal glam shine, a product brought out this year recently by L’Oreal, a well renowned commercial cosmetics brand, is a high-shine lip-gloss with overwhelming sparkle and pretty full-on colour. It comes in a quite expensive looking container, which contains a mere 6ml of the lip gloss, so it has been treated with the delicacy of precious stones. The packaging states that this is a “dazzling, lip plumping effect lip gloss”, and dazzling it most ... ...at the packaging, which shows the colour of the lip gloss as well as the glitter inside the container. I got this from Boots the chemist, and used my hard-earned points from my Christmas shopping spree to pay the slightly begrudged £5.99. I did think this was a little expensive for such a small amount, but a friend of mine recommended it as it’s so glittery you almost have to wear shades when you look in the mirror! The applicator is typical of most ...

Advantages: Lasts well, nice colours, cheap, no stickiness, application is easy Disadvantages: Small container
L’Oreal Glam Shine was my little treat at the weekend, well that and 5 other make up items. I’m on a budget at the moment, me and my bloke have just got our own house, so every spare penny is going into that, but I can’t live without my make up, and I find myself buying something new at least once a week, that and clothes are probably my biggest downfalls.
Anyway.
I have bought many L’Oreal products in the past, including ... ...been a big fan, until I tried this!
L’Oreal Glam shine promises the user ‘a dazzling glamorous lip-plumping effect’. The tube the lip gloss comes in is quite small; I thought I’d picked up a tester when I first saw it. It’s 8cms tall and contains 6ml of product. As with all L’Oreal products the tube looks quite sophisticated and up market. The lower half of the tube is transparent with the product name emblazoned ...

Advantages: Skin Tone Flattering Shades, Price, Lips look Fuller Disadvantages: Have to Re-apply Often
I was first introduced to L'oreal's Glam Shine lip gloss in my lecture hall at school. My friend had just applied it and I couldn't believe how it changed the look of her barely there lips. The shade she used was Coral Strauss, and it looked like a frosty iridescent peach in the tube, but on her lips, it was a frosty sparkly pink colour that even flattered her fair complexion. I ran to my nearest Walmart to check out the whole line of Glam Shine ... ...and Coral Strauss. I didn't particularly like Muse, as it was too purplish and did not flatter my skin tone at all, and rather washed me out. I liked the Quartz Strauss, which was a cherry color that was very flattering on my skin tone and was very shiny. My favorite was the Coral Strauss, which was the one that my friend had. The gloss had light reflecting flecks of sparkle that gave my lips a fuller look. The shade was perfect on my medium/tan ...

As with all us girls, the minute the calendar shows any sign of being spring or summer, into boots we rush to purchase our new ‘summery’ makeup!!
Me being one of those ‘girls’ did just that!
Having sensitive-ish skin I can’t even conceive the thought of buying the cheaper range of makeup that can be found in boots, this is a sad disadvantage to my pocket and a huge advantage to my makeup ... ...know this stuff doesn’t irritate my skin generally – but if you do have sensitive skin, don’t trust me judgment that you wont come out in a horrendous rash!!!
I already have Clinique foundation and all the supporting makeup and just needed a nice summery lip gloss or lip stick that easy to slap on and looks great. I clapped my eyes on Glam Shine. The nice cute little bottle with the big silvery lid makes it very eye catching on the shelf and just ...

L'OREAL..because you're worth it!
Ever since the glam shine range has come out..L'oreal just seem to be adding to the collection. *VARIETY*
There is an excellent range of colours to choose from, whether you're looking for crystal shine, or solid colour. The differnet ranges can be used for different occasions, as they offer different amounts of colour in various strengths.
*PACKAGING*
Gloss os small enough to keep in your handbag, and the applicator ... ...precise application. - Unlike usual rounded applicators which may be a little messier to use.
*APPLICATION*
The gloss is easily used, jus twist and pull. However you may find that sometimes the applicator has too much gloss on it after opening it, but thats easily solved you just reduce the amount by rubbing it on the rim :) In all, it is very easy to use and the shape of the applicator means that you can apply it more easily, great for first time ...

Advantages: variety of shades on offer Disadvantages: too sticky and thick
I dont usually wear lipstick or lipgloss as I find that as soon as I've stepped out the door its vanished. However when in Boots I noticed this lipgloss and that it promised to stay put for 6 hours. I thought it had some nice shades expecially the pinky/brown natural colours and so went to purchase one. The lipgloss bottle looks very attractive as its slightly curved and has a nice shiny screwtop which when you undo pulls out the lipgloss applicator ... ...wand which isn't tapered like most wands but is almost shaped like a heart. Impressed so far I began applying it and this is where it all fell apart. The lipgloss for me was for to sticky and far to thick, and even when I looked in the mirror to me personally it looked as though I had layred it on when in reality I had only applied one tin layer across my lips. Maybe this was how the lipgloss stayed on for the 6 hours as the gooey mess clings to ...

...lighter. I ended up getting L'Oreal Glam Shine in Sand Crystal a quite neutral pinky beige colour with added sparkle. The colour actually really suited me, and I was really pleased with it.

The applicator has a sponge tip on the end which is slightly tilted, I'm not sure if this makes ... ...can't say I find this any easier to apply than any of my other glosses.
The one thing I was impressed with was the length of time this lasts, I found that after application it would stay on for a good length of time although it did leave quite a nasty residue on cups etc after drinking. It does have quite a strong smell to it, personally I didn't mind it but if you don't like scented products this wouldn't be good for you. Even though it did have ...

Advantages: Shimmering it is. Easy to apply. Disadvantages: Doesn't last long.
Shimmering, sparkling and glamorous, thats was the look I wanted for New Year's Eve. With that in mind, I wandered around Boots in search for the make-up.
I came accross this, L'Oreal's Gam Shine Lip Gloss. Perfect! There were nine different shades to choose from. Sapphire Crystal, Pink Moon, Nude Moon, Coral, Nude Juice, Holographic Gold, Divine, Strawberry Sorbet, Holographic. Even the names sounded glamerous. I chose the Pink Moon.
The container ... ...bottle has its own application wand that is attached to the screw on lid.
Application couldn't be easier. The lip gloss just slides on effortlessly. It is quite thick in consistancy meaning that not much is required to cover your lips.
But it was the look that mattered most. I couldn't have been more pleased. My lips really did shimmer. As the night wore on, I did find that the gloss wore off though. Wore off or came off. I found the gloss did ...

Advantages: Easy to apply, longer lasting than most glosses, very glossy, gorgeous Disadvantages: Not many colours to choose from
I am constantly on the lookout for a lipogloss that promises a fuller pout and actually delivers, Glam Shine is it. Glam Shine has a high density of colour, which seems to make it last longer than most glosses, but it still manages to maintain the shine of a much more sheer alternative. It is jam packed with sparkle which I believe is what gives the illusion of fuller lips. The majority of colours in the range aren't too dark, so they don't tend ... ...consistency of Glam Shine is quite thick but not too sticky, which I like, there's nothing worse than being caught in a gust of wind to end up with half your barnet stuck to your lips. Glam Shine has an easy to use sponge applicator, much simpler than using a brush, you could apply it with your eyes closed. Ultimate glamour for lips, rush out and but one. This has to be one of my all time favourite lip glosses. ...

I make up very slightly...
I discovered, when I was a teenager, the make-up foundation and the powder, I
tested plenty before finding what was appropriate to me; and at
that time, it was more with an aim of dissimulating my defects than to
sublimate my natural beauty ... (thank you for not laughing).
As for the lipstick ,I never succeeded in finding one which would be appropriate to me, my skin and the look I want to have, that is to say vey ... ...are not very pleasant to carry,
that they hold badly.
In general, I do not like the colors or then, when I find them pretty
on the box, I find them ugly on me. I do not deny the fact that that
goes very well on certain girls, but for me that always gives me the style of a lady that does not connect to my personality.
Thus, I had for years completely given up making up my mouth and
I concentrated on my eyes.
But, a few years ago, a friend toldme ...

Advantages: fab shiney sexy lips Disadvantages: you have to re apply alot
...shop to Boots, i noticed L'oreal Glam Shine Lip Gloss so i thought " i'll have some of that " Glam shine comes in a glass tube with a ilver plastic lid which is about 3 inches tall, the part where the gloss is contained is about 1.5 inches and you get 6ml of gloss.
Glam shine comes in about 20 shades ranging from pillar box red to browns to peach to nude colours so really there is something for everyone.
I chose the shade "volcanic chrome" which ... ...of glitter, a really nice shade. When you unscrew the lid, the applicator is on the other end of the lid which is really just a sturdy plastic stick with a little spongey part that you put the gloss on.
