Hair from Heaven

Advantages: Shiny, Smooth, Silky Hair
Disadvantages: Absolutely None

...is a serum from the L'Oreal Kerastase Oleo Relax range. Oleo Relax is the Kerastase solution for very frizzy or dry hair, and comprises, shampoo, hair masque (conditioner) and serum. You can't get the products in shops, but only from salons or online salons. I get mine from www.thehairshop.co.uk. The serum comes in a lovely orange translucent bottle containing 125 ml of the product. It costs around £12, but before you recoil in horror, consider ...
...shop-bought ones frequently retail for 6 quid for a measly 50 ml. So you're getting a salon quality product for less than the price, ml for ml, of an inferior high street one. The first way in which Oleo Relax Serum differs from the norm is the texture. It is much thinner than other serums, and far less sticky. And unlike the high street bought serums, a little really does go a long way. To use, squirt serum into palm (or fingertips for short hair), ...

aaaaand relax.......

Advantages: Sleek, shiny, smoooth hair.
Disadvantages: None. Absolutely NONE.

...or over-condition it. The L'Oreal Kerastase range doesn’t come cheap – the serum is approx. £12 a bottle. At 125 mls though, it’s a biggie. Shampoo and conditioner is usually in the £8 - £12 range. But they are sooo worth it! You only need a small amount of these products, and so they last for ages. You hair doesn’t become ‘immune’ to them over time. And if you order from lookfantastic.com, you can usually bag ...
...I’ll give you one last anti-frizz tip: In the Autumn time, you can save your hair from all kinds of nasty external ravages, simply be wearing a wolly hat. Yup, a hat. As recommended by your granny – but actually, as worn by all the most stylish people. I have a wee ‘hat family’. Bought mainly from gap, Accessorise etc over the years. I just pull one on before I leave the house, and not only is my hair 100% protected from ...

Forget the frizz fuss

Advantages: Leaves your hair smooth, silky, and frizz-free
Disadvantages: The price? No, not even the price...

I live in Lisbon (Portugal), and Kerastase has been around ever since I can remember. Most of the up-scale salons use it as their recomended brand, so it's really easy to find. But the fact that it's been around made me forget all about it, and my perfect hair product search totally - and very injustly - overlooked them. I have below-the-shoulder thick, coarse, wavy, dark brown hair that seems to have a mind of its own. It looks like Shakira on ...
...lenght isn't too flattering on me. So, I got myself a pair of GHD irons, and became obsessed with sleek, flat hair. I also became quite worried about frying my hair, which is already quite dry. I went through so many different products...! Recently, I went to have my hair trimmed, and they used Kerastase products on me. God, my hair smelled good! I was SO impressed! The scent - so peculiar, not your typical hair product herbal/fruity thing, but ...

Never try anything else again!!

Advantages: Frizz Free, soft hair, easy to style
Disadvantages: Pricey but definately worth it!

I must admit, I was really sceptic about this product. I have tried so many products on my hair before, and I have never had such fantastic results, exept if I go to a salon. After I read the reviews for Keratese, I thought, ok, this is the LAST thing I will try, is it doesnt work I give up. I ordered it at lookfantastic.com, one of the other reviewers reccommended it. My husband (like all other husbands/boyfirends) groaned about me buying MORE stuff ...
...the Frizzy Hair Pack, for £29 something. It has a 250 ml Shampoo, 150 ml Hair masque, and a bottle of serum. I ordered it the Fiday morning, and Saturday morning my package was on my doorstep. Of course I immediately tried it. I was still very sceptic, and I was wondering if I can send it back or did I just waste all that money. Well, the shampoo smelled nice. I used a tiny little bit, as little as possible, I did not want to waste this expensive ...

kerastase solves all your hair problems in one!

Advantages: great range of products you couldn't ask for more
Disadvantages: MAYBE EXPENSIVE FOR SOME

Kerastase has been around ever since I can remember, Most of the top salons (eg.saks hair and beauty) use it as their main brand,iv'e always overlooked expensive brands in favour of cheaper ones, untill learning more about the kerastase range of products. My hair is just above my shoulders quite thick, coarse and frizzy hair that only doe's what IT wants when IT wants, I'm growing it, and this particular lenght is hard to manage and gets out of control ...
...worried about singeing my hair, as it is already very dry. I went through so many different products only too realise cheap products really dont work!!!!! when i started my hairdressing apprenticeship they used Kerastase products on their clients. their products smelled so good! The smell isn't that of your typical cheap hair products herbal/fruity thing, but something more elegant and sophisticated it will leave your hair smelling irresistable ...

Kerastase- never looked back

Advantages: Hair feels AMAZING after use and lasts forever
Disadvantages: Bit pricey

When I went to the hairdressers about a year ago, after 2 years of no-cuts due to lack of confidence after last hairdressing disaster, my hairdresser recommended the Kerastase (kair-ah-stars) Oleo-Relax range to me. Before, my hair looked like I'd had a very bad home perm. Afterwards- wow! what a difference! First time I could get a comb through my hair! It made my hair feel light, soft, silky and I could easily brush it. I think the only downpoint ...
...me about £13 for a 250ml bottle. But it is definately worth it, the serum cost me £11, and a year or so on, I've only used up half the bottle! I use the serum and hair masque the most often, they are the only ones which I feel really help nourish and condition my hair. I use the serum after washing my hair, you only need a few drops and you spread it all over your hair. You then leave and brush. It smells quite nice, not particularly divine, but ...

Perfect hair!

Advantages: Everything! smooth , soft, smells nice,
Disadvantages: Nothing

After my friend put it in my hair, i instantly fell in love with it! It works like a dream, it de frizzes hair instantly and adds smoothness and shine. I found that it works best when you use 2 pumpfulls ( for long hair, may vary with shorter hair) and gradually scrunch it in, if you rub it in then the effect isn't as good. Then dry your hair with medium heat and minimum force, this may take a little longer than full force but trust me the results ...

Because you're worth it!!!

Advantages: Straightens out the frizziest of hair, glossy smooth finish, serum last for ages
Disadvantages: A bit pricey, can't get it in your local supermarket

...websites where you can buy L'oreal products including the Oleo-Relax serum online and get it delivered right to your door! Although it is expensive it really is worth the money because the product is so good and because it lasts such a long time you get your value for money. Prices range from £11-13.00. I was at the hairdresser's only on Friday afternoon getting my hair cut and my hairdresser once again used Oleo-Relax and her GHD straighteners ...

If Straightening your hair makes your arms ache..

Advantages: Makes straightening hair much easier
Disadvantages: Smell isnt overly attractive. Wont find in high street store or supermarket.

For years and years i straightened my hair with cheap babyliss hair irons, never once considering using any kind of pre-straightener product. Then one day i discovered Oleo Relax serum. I only use a small amount, but the difference it makes is incredible. I still use the same irons that I always have done, as i cant justify £100 on a 'proper' pair, but just using this serum has helped enormously. My hair is less frizzy, less dry, and much more managable ...
...naturally it is very thick and very curly. Ok, so the serum doesnt smell overly good, but I use such a small amount it really doesnt matter, as it doesnt linger on the hair afterwards. Oleo-relax is also quite pricey, but when you are deciding whether to spend say £5 on a supermarket brand, or £10 (ish) on Kerastase, i would definately fork out the extra bit for a product i know is going to save me time and effort. The one down-side is that Kerastase ...

Smoothing Oil--Part 3 in Oleo-Relax System

Advantages: works instantly, lasts until next wash
Disadvantages: expensive, a bit greasy

My hairdresser sold me this product as part of a set. I balked at first when I saw the price, but after using it once, I could see that her recommendation was not frivilous. The cost was $45 Canadian (about 20 pounds). THE SYSTEM Oleo-Relax is a 3 part hair care system designed to smooth frizzy hair. When all parts are used, it works brilliantly. THE PACKAGING The orange plastic pump bottle is easy to use. It releases a smallish drop at a time, ...
...longish hair. It also has an easy locking feature, so I'm comfortable throwing it into my suitcase on holiday. I've had the bottle two months now, and I'm about a third of the way through. The cost doesn't seem so high when you average it out to $7.50 CAD (roughly 3 pounds) per month. THE EFFECT I only need to comb it through my towel-dried hair with my fingers. My impossibly frizzy hair is now sleek and manageable. It an oil, so overuse can ...
