Advantages Advantages Contain's no alcohol - Smells great - It works

Disadvantages Disadvantages Smells maybe too good for kid's - they may think it's edible

L'Oreal Styling Gel For Kid's ---------------------------- I bought this product because I recently cut my son's hair with some hair shaver's. What a disaster!! If you've ever cut a childs hair you'll know how hard it can be to get them to sit still, in my son's case this is nigh on impossible as he's only 14 mths old. I have tried taking him to the hairdresser's but this proved to much for him and he promtly started screaming at the top of his voice lung's ,lol. So you can imagine my dilemma - he was starting to look like a hippy dude so I had to take action!! Well when I had finished shaving ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells nice, doesn't sting

My daughter is a brilliant swimmer. She’ll dive down to the bottom of the deep end of the pool and retrieve just about anything off the bottom for you. She can swim crawl with her face in the water. But when it comes to washing her hair……well, that’s a different matter. Try shampooing her hair, and you will end up with the neighbours thinking you are torturing her. One Friday afternoon, we were shopping in Asda, when to my amazement, she picked up a bottle of shampoo. Now, we all know that advertising works on kids, but shampoo on the worlds worst hair wash wimp? The bottle is an odd sort of ... more

Advantages Advantages Gorgeous smelling, soft silky hair and a nice price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None, it's lovely

I went shopping on Saturday. I hadn't really intended to buy anything, I was just passing some time while my boyfriend fitted a kitchen. I went into Durham, and had a slow wander round. I headed into Superdrug, I never normally go in this shop, I usually buy my toiletries and suchlike from Boots. I was wandering up and down the aisles aimlessly. I was having a look at thing special offers and discount shelves. I'm definately a fan of bargains and anything cheap! I spotted some brightly coloured bottles on one of the shelves. I especially liked the look of the pink one. It was in a bottle about ... more

L’Oreal for Kids Shampoo *********************** My Daughter was born with a head-full of hair. She lost it a wee bit but now at 18 months old and looking like a three year old with her longer than shoulder length, curly hair, kids shampoo is very high on the shopping list. I’ve tried more than a few products and being honest all work more or less exactly the same because, not being anywhere near her teenage years, having greasy or dry hair is a low priority next to “mummy, what will I wear to nursery!!”. What I’m trying to say is she doesn’t care. So what sets L’Oreal for kids apart of the ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages some silly sausage might try to eat it

I was shopping on our local Tesco’s the other day, and I happened to notice the new L’Oreal kids shampoo ‘So Strawberry shampoo’ which was on display –The nice bright pink bottle caught my eye, so I immediately went over! (I love pink!) It’s a lovely strawberry ice cream coloured bottle, which is apparently, supposed to be designed to look like a fish! Trust me, if you’ve seen the bottle, you will know what I mean when I say, what kind of freaky fish swim past the L’Oreal factory? Lol! As it looks nothing like a fish, more like a pink bottle with ... more

Advantages Advantages smell, packaging, results - wicked!!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit expensive from most shops!

If, like me, you are a huge fan of 'proper' kids toiletries for kids (toothpaste, mouthwashes, shampoos, soaps, etc) then i would recommend trying this. I first noticed it in boots (hard to miss really, with the bright coloours used!!), where it was about £2.49 a bottle, and remember thinking it was a bit expensive, being as my lad likes to sneak into the bathroom and use a whole bottle of shampoo washing his hands, if he gets the chance. I nipped into bodycare, however, and it was only £1.39, so i thought i would give it a try. It turns out that while i was at work that day, my 4 year old ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I think that L'Oreal are onto a real winner with this brand of haircare made specially for children. I had been using Johnson's shampoo with the no more tears formula on Charlotte's hair. I used this mainly because of the no more tears formula - it stopped all those tears at bathtime. To be honest the condition of charlotte's hair left a lot to be desired. It was very 'luggy' and once dry felt sticky. Then L'Oreal brought out this new range, so I thought I'd give it a go. There are shampoos which come in a range for different hair types: Tropical Punch for extra manageability (just what you ... more

Advantages Advantages GREAT SMELLS, good at its job

Disadvantages Disadvantages i use it all

After buying the usual baby shampoos and realising that they are pretty much all the same, we found some new product on the shelf above the ones we used to buy. We had discovered L'Oreal for kids, after several minutes of sniffing the different flavours (such as watermelon and various other fruits) the descision was difficult, but we made off to the next aisle with no less than three different smells!!! On getting home and having our dinners we decided to bath the kids. Another difficult descision now, which one to use! So we used a different one on each of the kids, Shannon has long fine hair ... more

Advantages Advantages Conditions, detangles, with no tears

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Smells too good

.....thats what my daughter says when i put this on her hair after it's been shampooed. I'm talking about L'oreal kids conditioner plus detangler. It comes in an attractive, easy to hold purple bottle with green lid. It has the L'oreal kids logo on it with the words extra gentle conditioner plus detangler below. Then it says No tears! No Flyaways!. The product i use is for hard to manage hair, and has a burst of juicy grape. Although to my daughter it smells like stramberries and creamy. L'oreal has many different products in it's kids range, but i was looking for a conditioner for my daughter ... more

Advantages Advantages Shampoo and Conditioner all in one, great smell, leaves hair shiny and glossy

Disadvantages Disadvantages be careful with the new products

I just wanted to share with you my experience of L’Oreal shampoo 2 in 1 for kids. I have used the cherry and almond on my children previously and found it worked satisfactory. The cherry almond is for extra conditioning and even my husband uses it! The watermelon is for thick wavy hair and the smell is amazing. You could almost pour it over a bowl of Walls vanilla ice cream. (though I wouldn’t recommend it!). My boys have a good head of hair and this one works just as well as the cherry almond. My dad uses the So Strawberry and he has thick white hair, very unruly. It suits him fine but he’s ... more
