Advantages: Soft, smooth, brighter skin. Disadvantages: The price but it lasts!
I bought this about eighteen months ago after seeing the adverts with Natalie Imbruglia. I popped into town and while I was there I decided to go to boots and treat myself.
I went into Boots and was looking around for ages. I knew what I wanted but I couldn't remember what it was called. So I spoke to one of the women working in there and she didn't know what I was talking about. I described it to her as a micro-dermabrasion kit and she was stumped. ...

No pain, no gain Review ofL'Oreal ReFinish Micro-Dermabrasion Kitby
kirstymack80
Advantages: smooth, soft skin Disadvantages: painful on the face, as well as the wallet!
Ever since I saw Natalie Imbruglia advertising this product, it was a must in the Mack’s essential items to have. What can I say? I'm the Advertiser's Dream. As I’d just turned *cough cough* thirty something plus a few, my skin was starting to look a little jaded after years of waking up at 6am for my lovely job. Ahem!
As I was wandering around Boots after Christmas I saw that this particular kit had a small amount of money off the usual price ...

Advantages: Gorgeous healthy looking skin, smoother texture, costs less than professional with same results Disadvantages: breakouts after first few treatments, redness
I bought the L'Oreal Refinish Microdermabrasion Kit when I had read about it in a magazine a week prior. The product boasted results that were just as good as professional treatments and promised glowing, healthy looking younger skin. Having spent good money on a few professional treatments in the past, I decided to give the product a try as a more intensive microdermabrasion method in conjunction with my twice a week St. Ives Apricot Scrub. The kit ...

L'OREAL PARIS Micro-Dermabrasion kit is a resurfacing skin renovator kit normailly costs around £15. i brought my kit from asda which was slightly cheaper at around £13. you should also be able to find it in most major supermarkets, boots and your local chemist.

Advantages: It works, it's a real bargain, it's also good for spots Disadvantages: None
Marvellously fulsome descriptions for this product have already been written, so I'll just cut to the chase and tell you what I think of it.
Bit about me first - I'm 28 years old, battled acne between the ages of 11 and 25 and now just have reasonably decent combination / dehydrated / occasionally spot-prone skin which is just starting to get a little dullness and the odd fine line.
I only burst into print if products are so good I end up telling ...

Scrub Me Baby! Review ofL'Oreal ReFinish Micro-Dermabrasion Kitby
kittycatcookie
Advantages: Smoother, softer, brighter skin, Disadvantages: need long term use? irritating on sensitive skin
I ended up trying this product out as my mum bought it and ended up not using as often so i got to reap the benefits!
As i didnt buy it i dont know for sure the costs but my thinks it was around £14-£15.
Basically this is a home microdermabrasion kit. Whats microdermabrasion i hear you cry?! Well, basically its using small granules in a circular motion upon your face which removes the upper layer of skin and dead cells and helps to reveal the ...

Advantages: Fast smoothness, without all the harsh abuse and scrubbing with traditional exfoliators. Disadvantages: Careful not to get in eyes - judging from the texture it would be absolute agony.
I researched this all week before I finally bought it and tried it today - and as you can see, I'm so enthusiastic I had to write a review the same day!
My purchase of this kit was mainly brought about because of my heavy use of fake tans. It doesn't matter how expensive or wonderful a fake tan is - it looks terrible on skin like mine that has various dry patches on the forehead and chin area. I tried so many exfoliators, to the point where I was ...

Advantages: Easy and quick to use Disadvantages: none so far
I'm not going to describe the product again, Evil Irish Twin did it very well :0)
I have been using this product for nearly two weeks now (at the time I am writing, Superdrug has it on special offer for £11.99).
I must say I'm definitely not a big fan of exfoliators. I don't see the point as it generally does more bad than good. Especially in my case. I'm of this new generation called 'still spotty, already wrinkly'. Which means that my skin ...

Really looking forward to trying this product, unfortunately it did very little to excite me.
I can remember using very similar products way back in the fifties and sixties [ yes I am that old!] they were called "cleansing grains" and looked like tiny grains of rice, Helena Rubinstein and Dorothy Grey made them and at the time were the hot new product.
It appears to me that Loreal have not made much of an improvement on the grains,my skin did feel smoother for a few hours but ther was no improvement in tha appearance of lines or pores.
Perhaps I am too old for this product, or maybe far too sceptical to believe all the hype that goes with it.
Cass.

i have been using this product for a few years and find it really lovely to use.....it actually works! my skin is smoother and wrinkles are less noticable. I have recently introduced my 24 year old daughter to the product as she suffers from very dry skin on her face, she wasn't to sure of the stage 1 process but found the overall effect wonderfull.....
It makes my skin smooth enough for a flawless makeup base

Advantages: Quick and easy to use Disadvantages: Benefits are temporary
I had very high hopes for this product as other I'Oreal products have proved satisfactory in the past. I have to admit that after use my skin looked fantastic but the following day my skin was very very dry. I have been using this product twice a week for about six weeks now and I am very disappointed. After each application the day after use my skin is still dry and flaky, I also feel my skin is quite bumpy. As for any improvement to fine lines and ...
