Advantages Advantages Easy to get hard to reach spots, no streaks, great coverage

Disadvantages Disadvantages stains clothes, slightly orange, no colour guide

I tried the L'oreal Sublime Bronze self tan spray when I had a big occasion to prepare for and I had no time to go to my favorite Sephora store. I went to my local Shoppers Drug Mart around the corner for a quick, easy, self tanner to transform me from ghostly to glowing fast! I knew what I was getting into, because I didn't have many good experiences with cheaper self-tanners. They usually left me streaky or a freaky looking orange shade that caused me to spend a week hiding behind long sleeves and turtlenecks. But desperate times called for desperate measures, so I thought I'd give L'oreal ... more

Advantages Advantages Quick tan development time, very natural and easy to apply

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sometimes quite difficult to dispence, packaging can become greasy during application

When buying false tan it is important that you buy with care, after all, your looks are highly at stake! I used to be a regular sun bed user, but stopped after considering my health, also I wasn't so much a fan of actually visiting tanning booths. I have used many different false tan products, non of which really live up to the job. This time however, I decided to take a better look around the shops while also taking cost into consideration. I really didn't want to pay too much, just incase it didn't live up to its reputation. L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-tanning Spray from Boots set me back ... more

Advantages Advantages good colour, natural looking

Disadvantages Disadvantages a few streaky bits

As I am soon returning back to university I obviously want to look great for going back as do many. My hair is now sorted after the dilemma in my previous review 'No Blonde Ambition Here' but now I wanted to look like I had been away on holiday and not like I had been in Scotland all summer even though I have. After reading through my Glamour magazine I came across an article on fake tanning. I know many of my friends who use sun beds but the idea just doesn't appeal to me so I then came across their recommendation of L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Spray. I already had a faint tan from the ... more

Advantages Advantages Airbrush effect makes application reasonably easy

Disadvantages Disadvantages The mist is not coloured so you cannot see where you have spayed it.

I needed a tan quickly as I had a wedding to go to this weekend and had to bear my legs for the first time this year, so I decided to try this product. I bought the product from my local Boots store and read the instructions on the tin. The blurb reads that there is no need to rub in the spay, you get a 100% natural looking tan, it leaves you with no streaks, no patches or orange marks or palms. Great I thought, foolproof then, I am going to look like all those bronzed beauties you see in the magazine. Reading the instructions further, it tells you that you do not have to moisturise your skin ... more

Advantages Advantages Even tan, easy to use, good price, lasts ages

Disadvantages Disadvantages Involves extensive hand washing

Before I begin in earnest, there are probably a few things you need to know about me. I have very pale skin and dark hair. I prefer to think of myself as pale and mysterious, and a typical English Rose, but on the beach in summer, that’s not the look I really want to be going for. So, with summer approaching I decided have a go at self-tanning. Being a bit of a wimp, initially I was scared, having visions of being covered in orange blotches for the rest of my days, but I soon plucked up enough courage to go down to Boots and have a look at what was available. After much deliberation I decided ... more

Advantages Advantages Even, natural tan without streaks.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Fades very quickly, but difficult to remove last traces.

I have used every self-tanning lotion/spray/oil/gel/foam going, from St.Tropez to Rimmel, and always come back to Loreal Sublime Spray. I am a tan-a-holic, and cannot stand to be seen with white bits, as I think that a tan is the ultimate accessory a girl can have. Let's face it, women do look better brown. (Unless of course your'e the porcelain china doll type!) The only thing, is that I'm at work all day long, 5 days a week, and no longer want to use sunbeds (My friend has got skin cancer through them at 29.) so I have to resort to the tan in a bottle! Believe me, in my experimental trials ... more

    Advantages Advantages Brilliant results!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can't think of one.

As a sun worshiper… I just love having a nice tan, so in the winter, or the beginning of summer I use a fake tan. I've used many different brands of self-tanning, and I have found L'Oreal Self-Tan Spray to be very good, with effective results. ~ Application ~ On the bottle the application instructions are not that detailed compared to other fake tans I've used. All it says is: Use · Spray directly on to body and spread evenly. · Wash hands well after use. · Use daily until desired tan is achieved, after which use 2 or 3 times a week. Now that is all you may have to do, but I prefer to wash and ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy, hassle-free and won't make your clothes orange!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite expensive (but lasts a long time)

L'Oreal's Sublime Bronze spray is well worth the money - it's about £10 for the body-spray and £9 for the face tanning lotion. Both are very effective and easy to use. If, like me, you've had a few fake-tan disasters in the past, this is a pretty foolproof way to look naturally tanned without looking like you've been Tangoed! It sprays on easily and as long as you rub it in quickly and spend a couple of minutes really blending it, the results are really natural looking. Just make sure you blend well around areas that you don't think of so much, like the inside of your elbows for example, to ... more

    Advantages Advantages Even Golden Tan

Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard to apply (especially with gloves)

PACKAGING Metallic yellow/gold metal bottle, with plastic yellow/orange round nozzle and see-through cap. PRODUCT Natural colour spray, which doesn't show up on skin. Pleasant smell. APPLICATION Spay on liberally at about an arms distance; be careful if you have pale carpets REVIEW I am used to using San Tropez, but a friend of mine recommended this so I thought I'd give it a go, as she looked a nice colour. I have always been told that the key to a no streaks tan is, moisturise, moisturise, moisturise, but with all the moisturising I did under the spray, I didn't feel it dried very quickly in ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Streaky, stains clothes

After being fed up of being pasty and white this summer due to lack of British sun... again! I decided to go down the fake tan route. I tried a few, then I saw L'oreal Self Tan Spray on offer in Boots so decided to give it a go! I did the usual, exfoilating and moisturizing routine first then got ready to apply the tan. I thought that it would easier to do i a dry shower and I was right- it goes everywhere! It is easy to spray on, it comes out in a wet mist which you are meant to apply to your body evenly. The only thing is you have to hold it away from your body so that it doesn't get wet. I ... more
