Sublimely Bronzed in a Snap

Advantages: Easy to get hard to reach spots, no streaks, great coverage
Disadvantages: stains clothes, slightly orange, no colour guide

I tried the L'oreal Sublime Bronze self tan spray when I had a big occasion to prepare for and I had no time to go to my favorite Sephora store. I went to my local Shoppers Drug Mart around the corner for a quick, easy, self tanner to transform me from ghostly to glowing fast! I knew what I was getting into, because I didn't have many good experiences with cheaper self-tanners. They usually left me streaky or a freaky looking orange shade that caused ...
...so I thought I'd give L'oreal sublime bronze the benefit of the doubt. I scanned over the various shades of light, medium, dark, i and chose the medium shade. It costs a very reasonable $15 to $20 US, which put a smile on my face, and some extra cash in my wallet to buy a bronzing gel in case I ended up looking like a shade of pumpkin. I drove home in a jiffy, and hopped in the shower for my pre self tan preparation. Before self-tanning, you should ...

The Perfect Tan - Out of a bottle!

Advantages: Quick tan development time, very natural and easy to apply
Disadvantages: Sometimes quite difficult to dispence, packaging can become greasy during application

...up to its reputation. L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-tanning Spray from Boots set me back only £9.99 The name being a selling point of course, this product also appealed to me because (a) it was in the form of a spray - this could be handy for 'hard to reach' area's, and also I was typically used to cream versions. (b) The self-tan looked quite advanced compared to other self-tanning products sharing the shelf. The product offered to not only tan ...
...but to also keep my skin smooth and hydrated. The tan comes in a 150ml transparent spray bottle. This being an advantage as it is always a bonus to know how much of the produce you have left before you just one day, run out. The bottle can become slightly greasy whilst in use i.e switching bottle from hand to hand etc. The product promises to be a non-greasy texture. This being true when it comes to your skin, but not so with the packaging in hand. ...

Straight Off The Beach

Advantages: good colour, natural looking
Disadvantages: a few streaky bits

...came across their recommendation of L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Spray. I already had a faint tan from the days I did get some sun but it wasn't really strong enough and I wanted to look healthy and like I'd just come back from a few weeks on a beach holiday. I was a bit put off by the price of £11.99 though since I only wanted to test the product and might not like it. My solution to this problem was eBay I wasn't sure if anyone would list the ...
...some auctions up for it. I ended up getting a full and unused bottle for £4 which was a bargain so for those in the same position I'd suggest looking on eBay there are a lot of unused bottles up and even with postage they are half the price. Also, if you like the product and want to regularly buy it, it makes it a hell of a lot cheaper. So, I am new to fake tanning as I have always criticised people who have a streaky look as it makes me cringe. ...

Does not do exactly what it says on the tin!

Advantages: Airbrush effect makes application reasonably easy
Disadvantages: The mist is not coloured so you cannot see where you have spayed it.

I needed a tan quickly as I had a wedding to go to this weekend and had to bear my legs for the first time this year, so I decided to try this product. I bought the product from my local Boots store and read the instructions on the tin. The blurb reads that there is no need to rub in the spay, you get a 100% natural looking tan, it leaves you with no streaks, no patches or orange marks or palms. Great I thought, foolproof then, I am going to look ...
...Reading the instructions further, it tells you that you do not have to moisturise your skin beforehand but you must exfoliate your skin before you apply the spray. You also must put down a towel on the floor and stand on it, I presume to catch any mist that falls to the floor, it suggests that you wash the towel after you have finished putting on the spray. The instructions state that you should start on your arms and spray from your hands up to ...

If I can use it and get a decent tan, so can you

Advantages: Even tan, easy to use, good price, lasts ages
Disadvantages: Involves extensive hand washing

Before I begin in earnest, there are probably a few things you need to know about me. I have very pale skin and dark hair. I prefer to think of myself as pale and mysterious, and a typical English Rose, but on the beach in summer, that’s not the look I really want to be going for. So, with summer approaching I decided have a go at self-tanning. Being a bit of a wimp, initially I was scared, having visions of being covered in orange blotches for the ...
...courage to go down to Boots and have a look at what was available. After much deliberation I decided to go for L’Oréal Plénitude Sublime Bronze Self-tanning spray. The product claimed to be quick drying, suitable for dark or pale skin and produce an even, natural looking tan, and as friends had had bad experiences with lotions and mousses before I thought a spray would be best. As it was on special offer in Boots I got it for just under £7 but usually ...

It really doesn't streak!

Advantages: Even, natural tan without streaks.
Disadvantages: Fades very quickly, but difficult to remove last traces.

I have used every self-tanning lotion/spray/oil/gel/foam going, from St.Tropez to Rimmel, and always come back to Loreal Sublime Spray. I am a tan-a-holic, and cannot stand to be seen with white bits, as I think that a tan is the ultimate accessory a girl can have. Let's face it, women do look better brown. (Unless of course your'e the porcelain china doll type!) The only thing, is that I'm at work all day long, 5 days a week, and no longer want ...

Believe me, in my experimental trials to find the perfect tan, I've turned orange, dyed my arm hairs brown, and looked like I needed a thorough wash, all for vanity's sake!(Was it really worth it I ask myself?) Loreal Sublime Spray, is most definitely the best self tanning product I have come across. It is very easy to apply, dries quickly(Although it does leave a slightly greasy residue) ...

Advantages: Brilliant results!
Disadvantages: Can't think of one.

...self-tanning, and I have found L'Oreal Self-Tan Spray to be very good, with effective results. ~ Application ~ On the bottle the application instructions are not that detailed compared to other fake tans I've used. All it says is: Use · Spray directly on to body and spread evenly. · Wash hands well after use. · Use daily until desired tan is achieved, after which use 2 or 3 times a week. Now that is all you may have to do, but I prefer to ...

Results · First tan starts to appear after 1 hour. · Even and natural looking tan. · Smooth and silky skin. Now it says on the bottle, the first tan will start to appear after 1 hour. I felt for me it took about 2 hours to see any changing results. My skin did feel lovely after application, so maybe that was down to the 'Smoothing Effect' ...

How even is the tanning?

No more streaks

Advantages: Easy, hassle-free and won't make your clothes orange!
Disadvantages: Quite expensive (but lasts a long time)

L'Oreal's Sublime Bronze spray is well worth the money - it's about £10 for the body-spray and £9 for the face tanning lotion. Both are very effective and easy to use. If, like me, you've had a few fake-tan disasters in the past, this is a pretty foolproof way to look naturally tanned without looking like you've been Tangoed! It sprays on easily and as long as you rub it in quickly and spend a couple of minutes really blending it, the results are ...
...areas that you don't think of so much, like the inside of your elbows for example, to prevent any tell-tale marks. The great thing about it is that, unlike other self-tanning products, it dries fairly quickly - give it about 10-15 minutes and it won't leave an orange shadow on your bed linen. I find it best to apply it last thing at night before you go to bed, then you wake up with a lovely glow! Depending on how tanned you are already, you'll probbaly ...

I thought that it would easier to do i a dry shower and I was right- it goes everywhere! It is easy to spray on, it comes out in a wet mist which you are meant to apply to your body evenly. no more streaks, no more tears!

Advantages: natural looking tan, quick to use
Disadvantages: still the hint of 'you've just put your fake tan on' smell

Having tried lots of fake tan products over the years I was really pleased to finally find a range of products that give a 'natural' colour rather than an overnight look of just coming back from the Caribean (and everyone knowing that you haven't been away!) The spray was easy to use, I liked the quickness as I tend to get very bored rubbing in the cream/gel ones and end up rushing and then crying over the results! It was spray and go! - well not ...

I also use the face cream, this again is very natural, just a hint of a tan but very pleasing results - there really is no need to go for the 2 weeks abroad look when it is quite obvious you've not been. Anyway, I have had many a comment on how well I look rather than how tanned I look which I actually prefer. I do tan fairly easy but do not have the time to sit out in the sun (as well as ...

I bought this for a wedding I was going to last weekend and got my partner to spray tan my legs. Disadvantages: Medium price bracket

I have tries lots of self tanning lotions, from tanning towels to St Tropez. From very cheap lotions and posions to the expensive. Before any self tan you must exfoliate and moisturise elbows and knees before application. This one is easy to use, but like any other self application, practise makes perfect! I had a nightmare with the Loreal Sublime bronze airbrush effect. I applied it the way it says on the tin and left it to dry. Went to bed and when I woke up the next morning I had streaks like you would not believe - my wrists and ankles were really really dark and looked awful and my legs and arms had lines of white!!!!
