Destructible...

Advantages: Nice packaging....
Disadvantages: Doesn't manage to achieve anything that it claims

...is the 1st formula from L'Oreal that allows your style to "bounce-back", being Hand, Hood and Helmet resistant. Well. I'm up for a challenge! Come on L'Oreal lets be having you! >>>Packaging and first impressions Indestructible is in keeping with the rest of the L'Oreal StudioLine products packaging. A sleek black tube with a click cap. The packaging is quite compact and sturdy and can withstand most abuse, so don't worry about getting gel all ...
...hair! >>>The Tests! L'Oreal claims that its brilliant new "Technology " is Hand, Hood and Helmet resistant, designed to bounce back into place. So lets have a go. Each test was done on a new day so I had reapplied the gel and let it settle in prior to trying to destroy my hair. Hand - Although the hair is quite hard, you can definitely squash it down and it does pop back to place. Rubbing the hair though brings a snow storm. The gel clumps up ...

As Hard as Nails

Advantages: Long lasting results
Disadvantages: Rock Hard Hair

Imagine what it would feel like sitting next to a hedgehog and occasionally it knocked you, I imagine it would feel exactly the same as my son's head brushing against me after use this new Indestructible Gel. His head literally felt like rock and I was rather concerned about how it would come out. Anyway back to a write up of this product. As usual I was conned into buying this for my boy (he is only 11). He has extremely thick hair and every extra-hard ...
...about one hour. After seeing an advert stating it would stay on whether you stood on your head, had a hat on or a hood he asked me to pick this up. I purchased it from a local chemist and it cost me £3.49 for a 150ml tube. Well we rubbed quite a bit into his dampish hair and began styling it in his spiky on top straight at the back style. Now bearing in mind my son's hair is around 1 1/2inches-2 long on top (thought I'd mention that because I can't ...

How does your hair feel...

Indestructible like the Titanic was unsinkable

Advantages: good hold when the gel has set and few flakes
Disadvantages: costs a bomb and doesn't do what it claims to do for the premium price

With much hype L'Oreal thrust upon the world Studioline Indestructible gel with the promise that even if you wore a helmet, hat or hood once removed the style would return. Basic promise = a gel that will remember your style. Given the hype you won't struggle to find it in most supermarkets and I paid £3.50 for a 150ml tube, nearly £2 more than I usually do for my generic gel. I have short hair and like it to have a messy look on top without moving, ...
...normal routine would be to apply my normal gel after getting to work on my bike so my helmet wouldn't flatten the style. Giving this a shot was worth the price and I have to say after using it for a week I have gone back to my cheapo generic gel as it gives the same results. First of all it takes ages to dry so I can't put my helmet on until it has completely set unless I want my hair plastered to my scalp. Secondly, even after letting it set completely ...

Indestructible until you wash it out!

Advantages: firm hold, easy to wash out
Disadvantages: shinny look, easy to apply too much

My hair is quite short and I like it to be spikey. Typically, I alternate between waxes and gels and use whatever I have in the bathroom, as I don't think there is much of a difference for my length of hair. Recently though I saw a television advert for L'oreals Indestructible gel and was quite impressed by the claims it made. It featured a breakdancer who was standing on his head and rubbing his hair back and forth across the floor whilst dancing. ...
...same afterwards as it was before; was this gel really indestructible? The next time i was shopping I bought a 150ml tube costing approximately £3.50, a reasonable price. The packaging was pretty snazzy, but I was just interested in whether it performed better than the products I already used. I have used the product a number of times now and I must say I am very impressed with it. It holds your hair in an extremely rigid position for hours on end ...
