One of my favourite beauty brands of recent years has been L’Oreal, so as part of the beauty promotion this month I have raided my make-up bag and toiletries to decide which products are deserving of review. Advantages Creates long, luscious lashes with no clumps, inexpensive

Okay, I said it wouldn’t happen, but it did – Penelope Cruz has done it again! Advantages Not to thick and doesn't clump.
Disadvantages Can dry out whilst on your lashes and start flaking

Telescopic Lashes! As I am forever on the look out for good new make up goodies I rarely stick to the same brand. So when it came time to buy a new mascara I was excited to try something new. I'm not really sure what it was that made this one stand out at the time, but I decided to go with L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara. I picked out Carbon Black, as I am very dark haired and find a lot of mascaras to end up more charcoal than black....also because I've lost count of the amount of time I haven't looked at the colour of a mascara and ended up with brown! Take your lashes to Telescopic lengths! 11/06/2007

I bought L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara at Superdrug for £8.99. I bought the black one but it is also available in Brown or Waterproof Black. The tube is gold (the colour not actual gold lol), about 15cm tall and shaped like a mini-telescope (hence the name). When I opened the mascara, the first thing I noticed was the brush. It was unlike anything I had seen before! It’s very skinny; just 4 rows of combs (you’ll see that they form an “x” if you look at the brush from the bottom of the wand). It’s also very flexible. L’Oreal telescopic mascara I like to have different mascaras and decided on this one during a recent foray at the supermarket PROMISES... The mascara comes with the promise that lashes will be dramatically longer with twice the intensity, mainly because it apparently has a patented flexible precision brush (whatever that is!)so it seems to be just the kind of thing i am going to Like. It also promises to be opthalmologist and allergy tested and suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, as well as being fragrance free. My quest for a perfect mascara has admittedly been half-hearted. To be honest, I don't usually use one just because I've been blessed with such long eyelashes anyway that I don't find it totally necessary. Most tend to give such an extreme look that I look I'm wearing false eyelashes, which is not ideal for an everyday look! I usually use cheap brands of Mascara as I felt it didnt make a difference, but when I was given L'Oreals Telescopic Mascara for Christmas it changed my mind. It can be bought for around £10 in all good drugstores. The Mascara comes in packaging that consists of a cardboard backing and plastic covering the cardboard backing is silver and has written on it the colour (905 Black in my case), statements about the mascara "lengthening and lash by lash seperating", and also has a picture of what they say is a 'new precision brush'. Background L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara is a Mascara designed to lengthen your lashes by up to 60% using such a think brush for precision and magnify to give you bold lashes, the brush is also designed to separate each lash. No doubt you've probably seen the adverts with Penelope Cruz wearing the mascara - it looks fantastic on her. After yet another clearout of all my make-up Ive managed to write a massive list of all the products I have yet to review so I thought Id try and get a few of them done today - particularly the Loreal ones before they go back down a tier hehe. After searching for what seemed like forever for a mascara that lived up to its hype i finally found one i love, this to me is the Holy Grail of Mascara.
