I’ve used many products from the L’Oreal range over the years, ranging from face make-up (i.e. lipstick, mascara, blusher, etc), to face and body moisturisers, self-tan products and hair-care products, and I have to say that the majority of the time I’ve been fairly pleased with my purchase. So, when I saw the very lovely Penelope Cruz advertising L’Oreal’s newest addition to its range – True Match Minerals Powdered Foundation – I thought I’d give ...

...gaze was drawn to the L'Oreal true match minerals foundation. I hadn't seen it before and the makeup stand seemed to hype it up (obviously...damn advertising!!..always gets me!) I have since seen the television advertising for the produce featuring Penelope Cruz with amazing flawless looking skin.
When I saw the pot I thought it looked really cute and picked it up without even looking at the price. There were a range of 9 shades but most were ...

Advantages: Gives a light, natural looking finish and is easy to apply. Disadvantages: Packaging could be more user-friendly.
I'm pretty lazy when it comes to foundation, I rarely wear a proper liquid foundation, as all that blending and getting the stuff on my hands just bores me. During the day I normally wear a powder on my face, to control shine and even out my complexion. Until recently I'd been using the L'oréal True Match 'super-blendable' pressed powder, which is pretty good, but I sometimes felt it didn't offer me as much cover as I wanted, so when I saw the advert ...

Advantages: light, almost flawless glowing make up Disadvantages: pricey, long to apply
I'm always been skeptical when a so called new revolutionary product gets on the market. I have heard a lot about mineral make up from ppl on youtube (so mainly ppl like you and I) so I decided to try it myself.
My skin type is normal/dry with acne. My face is not oily at all though I can get spots very easily if I apply too many products at the same time or containing acne triggers (whether chemical or natural!).
My skin tone is sort of medium ...

Terrible! Review ofL'Oreal True Match Mineralsby
shiningplanetss
Advantages: Cheap for mineral foundation. Disadvantages: Poorly designed, bad colour choice, bad coverage and shine control.
First off, let me explain my skin type. I have acne scars, still get the occasional spot and have oily skin that somehow manages to feel tight and dry in the morning if i don't moisturise, only to become extremely oily later in the day.
I had heard all of the hype sorrounding mineral make-up and thought this sounded like an excellent idea for my skin type, as the packaging claims that it has "no perfume, no preservatives, oil-free, non-comodogenic, ...

Advantages: cheap for a mineral make up Disadvantages: Scratchy brush, the correct shade hard to find.
Being a cosmetic junkie i decided to try this product recently, after having used other mineral powders: Bare minerals mineral veil, Philsophy the Supernatural and Urban Decays mineral powder. I was draw to this Loreal one due to the £12.99 price tag, being 1/2 that of Philosophy.
Firstly the colour. Ive always found buying powder a chore as the colour in store is never the same when you get it outside. And the harsh lights never help. I found ...

...them. I hovered around the l'oreal counter for ages, testing the shades and finding the perfect one for me. After the long anticipation of finding a mineral makeup and generally a makeup thats actually good for your skin!
At the time, it was discounted, however the RRP is £9.99 for a large pot with an detachable lid thats handily stored in the lid. You just unscrew the lid to use the brush. Within the pot there it a sieve like sleeve so you can ...

This is lovely! When I first heard about this I thought it would be expensive but I must admit I fancied having a try. Anyway, my sister gave me a Boots voucher for my birthday so I went to see how much it was. Luckily, It was on offer that week for £9.99 (not sure whats the usual price) so I decided to use my voucher for it.
I was really looking forward to giving it a go and I can honestly say I was very impressed. Everyone, and I mean everyone ...

Advantages: Light, Good for the skin, Small and compact Disadvantages: Can't buy refil, need to buy product again
I've heard a lot about mineral makeup. The advertisements about sheer cover had always interested me. However being a student my bank balance could never stretch that far. I saw L’Oreal advertise this mineral foundation in a magazine and assumed it would be expensive. While in boots I noticed it was £9.99 introduction offer so I decided to try it.
This stuff is excellent.

FABULOUS STUFF - Had seen the Guthy Renker infomercials re Sheer Cover and the barescencials QVC range so knew mineral powder was the way to go. When I saw this product immediately bought it. 49 yr old oilyish skin which hates the feeling of powder or foundation but really needs something. Bought the N3 which is a great match for my complexion and so quick and simple to use. Admittedly knew the best ways to use it as had got the gist from the tv ads ...

Advantages: Good coverage, makes ur skin glow Disadvantages: Too expensive, hard to apply
This foundation is good but there is no way it can give u 56 applications which was said in another review. Infact, thats the downside to this foundation, it only has enough to do u for a few weeks. I dont wear foundation every day but if i did then i could see myslef having to buy more of stuff every 2/3 weeks.
I wear foundation about 3/4 days a week and i still have to buy a new tub of it every 4/5 weeks and as u can imagine, its alot of money ...

Advantages: Light but gives an even coverage, does not clog pores. Disadvantages: Messy to apply.
I absolutey love this product. I have used it most days for the past 6 months. As it says it is mineral make up and i have found that this has calmed my problematic teenage skin. Before using this products i would use other foundations but i have found that all of the others, on regular use have made my skin a lot worse.
Since using this product i have not had these problems and when wearing it i feel as though im not wearing any make up and i ...

This stuff is great. Im a long time foundation wearer who likes good coverage and Im hooked. I will never wear liquid foundation ever again. The previous reviewer obviously used the wrong colour and applied it way too heavily.
Im very pale and I used the W1 golden Ivory and it is flawless. You really dont need very little at all.
Before using I applya light concealer and eye cream below my eyes where I suffer from dark circles. To apply this ...

...advert I decided to try L'Oreal True Match Minerals. I was quite surprise with the results I got from the first time I tried the minerals. The colour matched my skin perfectly and looked natural.
What surprised me the most was I did not need to use a lot of the powder and it gave me a finished look, like when I use liquid foundation. I tend to like the more natural look when I wear foundation but sometimes foundation doesn't blend into my skin. ...
