I normally don't use L'oreal Paris make up. It is in the lower end range but yet seems to be quite expensive compared to other brands such as Rimmel and Maybelline. If I am going for a cheap brand, I will go for these. If I am looking for something a little more luxury I will go for Benefit or Mac. L'oreal Paris seems to be a brand that sits in the middle. I'm always been skeptical when a so called new revolutionary product gets on the market. I have heard a lot about mineral make up from ppl on youtube (so mainly ppl like you and I) so I decided to try it myself. My skin type is normal/dry with acne. Disadvantages: Poorly designed, bad colour choice, bad coverage and shine control.

First off, let me explain my skin type. I have acne scars, still get the occasional spot and have oily skin that somehow manages to feel tight and dry in the morning if i don't moisturise, only to become extremely oily later in the day. Being a cosmetic junkie i decided to try this product recently, after having used other mineral powders: Bare minerals mineral veil, Philsophy the Supernatural and Urban Decays mineral powder. ...to give them ago. I brought L'Oreal True Match Minerals the other week - looked very simple to use and quick and easy. I thought you would just used the brush and sweep it on your face and build it up. Hmmm...... No that seems not to be happening - it seems to be doing anything for my face. I have normal skin type. I have to put a base fountion on first then sweep the True Match Mineral over that about 10 times to get any effect. Dont get me wrong ... Read review

This is lovely! When I first heard about this I thought it would be expensive but I must admit I fancied having a try. Anyway, my sister gave me a Boots voucher for my birthday so I went to see how much it was. I bought this foundation, because as it was a powder i thought it would give a matte finish, which is what i was looking for. This is the first mineral makeup i have tried, and i found it really strange seeing the powder go onto your skin and looking like a liquid foundation.
