    I tend to switch my shampoo quiet regularly, but at the moment I’m using Elvive Nutri-Gloss. I brought it because my hair was lacking shine and looked dull all the time and wanted something to bring it back to life. ~ What is Nutri-Gloss ~ Elvive Nutri-Gloss is a shampoo designed specifically for mid to long hair which contains pearl protein, this puts nutrients into the hair from the root to the tip without it being weighed down and looking lifeless.     I have always been envious of girls who have nice, soft, shiny hair. Mine has always just been blonde and dull, until I found L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Shampoo. It was recently on offer in Sainsburys for 2 for £3 so I brought this and the anti-breakage one. It is currently priced at £2.98 for a 400ml bottle or £1.57 for 250ml. ** The Packaging** The shampoo is contained in a very bright pink coloured bottle, just like the above picture.     L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Shampoo I am generally not too bothered about what shampoo or conditioner I use on a regular basis. I tend to get which ever brand is on offer at the time I need it although I do have my favourite of Pantene although this can be rather expensive when not on a special offer. My last purchase was this L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Shampoo and conditioner set. It was on special in boots for buy one get one free with the RRP of one bottle being £3.59.     My hair can be quite strange and will often start reacting badly to a shampoo once I have been using it at every hair wash for a little while and so I am often looking for new products to try on my hair. A few months ago I was in Boot’s shopping when I saw a promotion on L’Oreal Elvive nutria-gloss shampoo which I think was selling for half price at the time and so I decided to give it a go.     When it comes to shampoo, I have my favourite brands, but I am not particularly loyal to a brand and quite often purchase whatever is on offer at the time, or whatever takes my fancy and the last time I was on the lookout for a shampoo, the L’oreal Nutri Gloss Crystal Sparking Shampoo. It was the name that attracted me to this shampoo, I could almost envisage my hair drenched in crystals!     Advantages Advantages Nice, shiny hair that doesn't feel heavy.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't 'cure' or help the greasyness of hair.

    I've seen the advert for this L'Oreal Elvive Nuti-Gloss range on the TV so many times, and to be honest I didn't pay that much attention to it. However I read somewhere about the Nuti-Gloss Light, made for fine hair that turns greasy, and that sharp drew my attention. I have to wash my hair daily as it's very fine, and it gets greasy so quickly, and if I don't wash it one day then my hair will be really greasy the next. Even if I leave out my conditioner this still happens, and I try my best to avoid shampoo's that mention 'moisturising' or anything similar as they're often too heavy on my ... more

    L'oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss shampoo is provided in a pink bottle with a pink flip top lid. There is a medium hole in the top which allows the shampoo to be squeezed out of the bottle. It gives a medium flow but this shampoo is fairly runny so be careful and don't be over zealous with the squeeze or you will get a whole handful. The product is light in colour and has a nice girlie kind of scent to it. I use a 50p sized blob and rub this all over my hair from root to tip, I get a fairly good lather and was very impressed with the amount of lather it produced as well as how squeaky clean my hair ... more

    I am not at all loyal to any brand when it comes to buying shampoo, the cheapest or any on offer will get put into my basket as I'm not really bothered about which one I buy. I have fine hair that needs washing every two days to look good, so as long as the shampoo is for that type of hair it will get put in my basket if it's at a cheaper price than any of the others in the supermarket. I often go to the Savers shops in town too which helps to save a few pennies and got this bottle of L'Oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Pearl Protein Shampoo for £2 there, for a 250ml bottle.     Having written a reivew on this products conditioning partner, I thought it was high time to write a review on the shampoo! The first thing that I noticed is that you do not need much more than a ten pence piece sized blob to shampoo your hair (my hair is quite long as well!) This quickly builds up into a thick lather that envelopes your hair and you feel like your hair is getting really really clean.
