    The advertisement on the television many months ago tempted me into trying this shampoo, the way it portrayed fresh smelling juicy fruits being squeezed into the slender apple green bottle. On my next shopping trip I decided to put the advert to the test and see whether the smell was of fresh juicy fruits and most importantly how it left my hair feeling. As I previously mentioned the bottle is a slender apple green in colour and quite eye catching on the supermarket shelves.     After seeing the adverts on TV, I decided to give fructis a try. The shampoo was good value for money, as it worked out much cheaper than buying a seperate shampoo and conditioner. The best thing about fructis was its fruity smell, I really liked it. My hair felt alright, that is, until I had finished drying it. Upon drying my hair became more greasy than it was before I had washed it!! It also felt very limp and looked a darker colour than before, due to it being much oily than usual.     It must be good I thought, it's by Laboratoires Garnier and it's new on the market, thinking perhaps by now someone has finally got it together and come up trumps with a decent 2-in-1 shampoo for us guys'n'gals in today's hectic society? Oh boy, how wrong could I be! I paid a mere 99p in Wilkinson's for a pretty looking green bottle of 2-in-1 fortifying shampoo with active fruit concentrate (like we all know what this means right?), it's suitable for frequent use on dry, damaged or permed hair, lovely and other variants of this product are available for different hair types too - oh yippeee ... more

    This is an ok shampoo and conditioner but it makes my hair extremely static. After my hair dried after the first time of useing this, all my hair was sticking up. I didn't know whether this is just because of the fact that my hair is short or not so I asked someone with long hair that used this product. They said the same thing happened to them. The only good thing about this shampoo and conditioner is the smell. It smells really fruity and georgeous. I don't recommend anybody to buy this product. ... more

    I actually have quite long blonde hair, loads of people told me this is a nice shampoo, hoe wrong can they be? After washing my hair with this stuff it felt like straw it managed to dry it out from the roots make it look flat and dull. The once blonde was closer to a nasty dull brown. Answering the question above...noone should buy this product unless they would like to resemble Worsel Gummage with dry split nasty hair. I wont be buying it again.     OK, so who's ever used Fructis and had a serious head problem ? I used it once after all the ads, thought it looked great and would be the answer to my hair prayers, it really is hideous stuff though. It gave me this really weird itchy flaky scalp and I had funny white stuff coming off my head for days - it really wasn't attractive, and no matter what I did it would just not go ! apparently loads of people have used this product and had to have their hair and scalp professionally treeated as it's caused so many problems, this is meant to be as aresult of not testing the product thoroughly ... more

    This shampoo was advertised everywhere a couple of monthes ago. It is apparently meant to make your hair 3 times stronger and shinier. I used it hoping that this would happen, but it made my hair less greasy than an oil rig. It did smell totally fruitily gorgeous but my hair was left limp and hanging which wasn't very attractive. After washing my hair with it I went swimming, and could still feel it disgustingly clinging to my hair. basically I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone unless your hair is mega dry.     I only bourght this product because I was on specila offer and I tend to get through a great deal of shampoo because of sport etc. the first thing that you notice about this product is the smell, smells ok when using it but even when you've dried your hair, you tend to get wiff of it each time you move your head... Yuk. Smell is just too over powering. The next bad thing about this product is that within a day may hair at the roots felt dirty and greesy which is really unusual for my hair. I found myself having to wash my hair more frequently to combat this problem. A product to be avoided! ... more

    I bought Fructis because I was group shopping in Sainsburys with my four flat mates and we wanted to buy a ceap shampoo that we could all use. Most young women hate using the really big no name products so we settled on Fructis basically because it didn't look too cheap when in fact it was. The best thing was that it actually was really good and made you feel like you had bought some really expensive salon brand. My hair stayed clean and shiny for three whole days which when living in London is a real breakthrough. ... more

    I don't buy household items such as this for the home, Thats the wifes job, and when I found that she had changed to this shampoo, I was a bit upset as I liked our old one. However on using it for the first time I found it to be very refreshing and done it's job of cleaning my hair very well. when used it gives off a very fruity and lively scent, that goes well with the steam of the shower to wake you up in the mornings. If you like zest in your hair care products this is the one for you! ... more
