    Advantages Advantages for a true austin fan you need completeness!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages a fragment and a juvenillia

    I'd read all of Austin's major works by my teens and was surprised to find what I at first thought was a whole new novel I'd not heard of in a charity shop. A quick browse of the back Lady Susan is a 'juvenillia' - a minor work by the immature Austin. It is written in the form of letters between the major charactors, a popular device at the time and I believe how PnP was originally conceived.
