Advantages: A classy, glossy, expensive looking plump pout Disadvantages: Might be too subtle for some (in the colours I own)
...out on a set of Lancome Juicy Tubes as an extra birthday present. She has great taste; almost identical to mine in all things cosmetic. The set I received consisted of four mini sized Juicy Tubes lip glosses.
Juicy Tubes are unlike many other lip glosses in that I would describe them more as an amalgamation of a lip gloss and a lip balm. I say this partly because they don’t come packaged in the standard slim cylindrical lip gloss tube, and partly ... ...THEY LOOK LIKE ON?
Lancome describes them as ‘Ultra Shiny.’ I think this is a little exaggerated for the shades I own, although not far off. I have seen lip glosses far shinier than these, but as I said before, I would place them somewhere between a lip gloss and a lip balm, so in that category they do marvellously well. Framboise – very subtle, for that natural barely-there look. In the tube you can see that the gloss has little flecks ...

Advantages: One tube lasts forever, beautiful glossy finish, so easy to apply! Disadvantages: Expensive, slightly sticky.
...When I was bought this Lancome Juicy Tube a couple of years ago for Christmas by my cousin, I was almost scared to use it. All of the make up I had then was very cheap and bottom-of-the-range, I really wasn't familiar with any of the more pricey brands. I knew that this lip gloss was quite expensive and was slightly intimidated by this fact, silly as that may sound. I soon got over that and became hooked, hence this review! Product Range
Having ... ...would recommend checking out the Lancome site (http://www.lancome.co.uk) to see what's on offer right now; besides, whilst a number of shades seem to stay in the range every season, others come and go and this review would become outdated very quickly. With that said, here is my summary of what sorts of glosses are on offer. Juicy Tubes come in a fairly wide variety of shades, including pinks, purples, reds, oranges and more neutral colours. As well ...

...drew my attention to the Lancome counter. Can it really be as great as the celebs claim? Will this really be a lip gloss I can wear day to day without feeling gooey and too 'made-up'? Well, being the generous sister that I am I thought I would find out more about this 'wonder product' and look good at Christmas and buy it for my make-up fiend sister.
Much to our delight both she and I glossed up on Christmas day and were very pleased with the results. ... ...I bought my very own juicy tube. I bought number 27 - colour 'Fresh' - the most natural of the shades. It looks gently peachy pink inside the tube and can be worn alone or over lip colour without adjusting the colour underneath significantly.
For £11.50 (Boots and Allders, similar prices at other cosmetic counters) you get a transparent plastic tube of 14.2grams (0.5oz). The top of the tube has a screw top which once open reveals and application ...

Advantages: lip gloss that stays put! Delicious, irresistible, (redeemable via Boots Advantage points too) Disadvantages: expensive, may be prone to be sticky sometimes, some colours may be too sheer
Spring is in the air; the daffodils are swaying gently with the breeze, the apple blossom has taken full bloom scattering its petals along the way…. the outdoors looks and feels fresh and beautiful again. To capture the mood and aroma I think Lancôme’s juicy tubes lipgloss is the perfect product to create the most luscious, sensational, and fruity lips.
I first came across Lancome’s juicy tubes by reading raving reviews on Ciao ... ...to these tubes. I am not new to the Lancôme brand having previously used much of their make up and skincare but one that’s worth remembering is their unique and original ideas such as Fred Farrugia’s mind blowing colour creations he did for Lancôme with the Chrysalis Spring Collection “Ombre Subtle Duo” eyeshadows which involves the clever use of colour by mixing black and white to give the colour of blue! (anybody remember ...

Advantages: Great range of colours, lasting power, sexy pout! Disadvantages: Expensive, could be better texture...
Lancome's Juicy Tubes have been available for a while and as a fan of glosses and balms I bought one for myself as treat.
The Gloss comes in 15ml tubes with a screw cap. There is no 'wand' but, instead, a hole in the tip of the tube which the gloss is squeezed out of - then you just use the rounded end of the tube to spread the gloss. Very easy. I guess a mirror is ideal but you can manage without.
The texture is good. It is a little sticky for ... ...such good lasting power. It smells divine - all the fruit flavours are true to their names-which put me off buying 'melon' because I hate the smell of melon. I have mine in 'Chilled' - obviously not a fruit flavour but a very versatile brown-gold colour. I love this because it has beautiful golden pigments in it - they are very subtle but boost the shine and glitter of the gloss. Despite this, its naturally 'effortless' and would look great over ...

...we are talking about a Lancome product! My wish was granted when I saw a travel gift pack in the Duty Free shop at Gatwick airport. It was £25 but I got a mascara, a cool glittery eye shadow and yes, you guessed it, a Juicy Tube! I was so excited that I just had to open it as soon as I got on the plane!
The box is silver, it has 'Lancome Paris' at the top and the logo (a golden rose). Juicy Tubes, Ultra Brilliant Lip Gloss Ultra Shiny is written ... ...is 0.5oz/14.2g.
So - to the gloss. I didn't get a choice in the colour as it was in a gift set but it was neutral and I mostly wear nudie type lippies so thought this would be good enough for me. It's number 27 and called 'Fresh'. The actual tube is plastic, it's 15ml and has the same wording as the box on it.
The colour? Well it's a pale peach with golden glittery bits in. The plastic lid twists off to reveal the nozzle, which is really cool. ...

I love buying beauty products. It’s my weakness (well, that and white chocolate Smarties bars). Every month I buy new hair products, new moisturisers, new hand creams, new nail varnishes, new shower gels. My room is filled with as many lotions and potions as you can imagine. My sister always comes in and says that I can’t possibly use everything that’s there, or even remember everything that’s there (she says as she casually slips a couple of tubs ... ...of all beauty products, is buying new makeup. I love everything about it. I love going into the shop and looking at all the different colours, racks and racks of pretty things set out like a rainbow. I love trying out all the different shades. Most of all I love wearing it.
I am a lip gloss addict. I could never go out the house without wearing any. So I’m always on the lookout for new products and I’d consider myself something of an expert on the ...

...ventures I stopped at the Lancome beauty counter in Debenhams and tried some of these juicy treasures. I was instantly in love. The smell alone will have you addicted. There is a good selection of flavours to choose from, but be warned, the more you try, the more you will want to buy. Despite me being desperate to have one of these glosses grace my handbag and makeup box, my current funds were not allowing for it ( in other words I was broke). So ... ...I went shopping with my boyfriend. After much persuasion from him, I finally treated myself. I think he was sick of hearing me complain about them. It may sound obsessive, but I did ponder over these little tubes quite frequently. Try one and you will understand.
After much deliberation over which flavour was the one I had to have (and trust me it is tough to choose) I opted for number 25, sans reserve. The exact flavour of this tube is difficult ...

Advantages: perfect consistency, fantastic shine, range of shades available Disadvantages: hair sticking to lips effect
Juicy Tubes must be one of Lancôme’s most talked about products. If you don’t own one then you will probably have heard about them at some point. I decided it was time I invested in one of these little beauties ultimately after reading reviews about them a couple of months ago. No matter how many adverts I see in glossy magazines there’s nothing quite like reading a review on something and there are so many reviews raving about them that I decided ... ...that it was time I investigated further. And so to the Lancôme counter I headed.
There are a vast range of colours available each of which fits into one of three styles of lip gloss. Firstly there are the transparent shimmers, which are rather more subtle than the others as they only contain a hint of colour rather than a ‘solid’ appearance. Next are the pearly and semi-transparent lip glosses, which give a shimmering pearlescent effect and lastly ...

The last time a passed through the international departure lounge in Heathrow, l happened to pick up a bargain pack of Lancôme Juicy Tubes. Now this purchase was definitely a spur of the moment purchase – fueled on by alcohol l may add – ld just drank 3 pints of Stella and was feeling pretty merry! I had though heard many people extol the virtues of these products from work colleagues to fellow ciaoers.
So what are Juicy Tubes? The product ... ...but fear not these are innocent tubes of lip gloss. They are pocket sized, perfect for that wee hip pocket in your jeans! They can be bought at any cosmetics counter where Lancôme are sold. According to www.boots.com a single solitary Juicy Tube will set you back the princely sum of £12 STG. Now that makes me feel a lot better! Why – well my Stella induced purchase at the duty free in Heathrow for a set of 3 full sized Juicy Tubes, cost me ...

Advantages: Looks gorgeous on and lasts Disadvantages: a bit expensive
I had originally bought my Lancome Juicy Tube on holiday as a special treat, and had never bought any products from them before. Being quite a high-end makeup brand, excellent quality is expected and thankfully, delivered (with this product anyway). I had been inspecting them quite carefully and had come to two decisions, a light pink shade and a sort of warm fudgey colour (toffee). I definitely wasn't buying both of them so I asked the slightly-too-helpful ... ...left in the tube. Lasts ages when it's on as well, hence "occasionally." :D
All in all, I have tried many glosses from all different brands and this is the best I've had hands-down. So as for my first Lancome purchase, I'd give it a nine out of ten. ...

...of the few products that Lancome havent discontinued, they always discontinue products after a certain amount of time and its sooo frustrating when youve found something you love!
So anyway, browsing through eBay I came across a seller who had somehow managed to get hold of some Juicy Tubed stock and was selling them at around £8.50 for a single tube and £18 for a box of three. Of course, I went for three, I got three brand new unopened Juicy Tubes ... ...Cerise - all the pinks - for £18! Bargain!
The tubes are translucent gel in a little white tube, with a screw top lid and an angled applicator so that the tube can be squeezed a little and applied directly to your lips. Each colour is scented, and if you like melon youll love the yummy canteloupe scent of the melon flavoured tube. The Cerise and Framboise colours have little particles of glitter sparsely mixed in for a very subtle shimmer.

Advantages: Long Lasting, Great Tasting, Looks Amazing! Disadvantages: Price is the only thing I can think of.
I decided to buy Lancome Juicy Tubes when I was at the duty free shop in an aiport in America and found I had some money left over from my holidays. And what a choice it was, to this day I have not regretted buying this lipgloss. The only thing I'm worried about is what I'm going to do when it runs out!
The lipgloss that I bought was a set of three called Crazy for Pink and consisted of the colours Groseille (a pinky red), Peche (a soft pink) and ... ...there!
The range of Lancome Juicy Tubes, in my opinion, is brilliant! There is such a vast choice of colours, that you could find one for any occasion you wanted! And after careful deliberation, I have managed to work out that each one tastes different according to what it is called! For example, at this very moment, I am wearing "Peche" and can detect a hint of peach in the taste. So that's great if, like me, you buy lipgloss for the taste as much ...

Advantages: Gorgeous flavours and colours. Disadvantages: Most of them go on clear.
Lancome Juicy Tubes cost around £11.50 which you may think is expensive for a lip gloss, but it is actually pretty cheap considering the amount of gloss that you get in a tube - you get 15ml.
The packaging is a clear plastic squeezable tube. When you twist off the lid, you will find a slanted plastic applicator, with a small hole in the centre. To apply the gloss, you squeeze the tube gently so that the product comes out through the hole. You can ... ...tube (the slanted applicator makes this easy), or you can apply the gloss to a lipbrush and apply to your lips from that if you prefer. Personally, I find applying the gloss straight from the tube to the lips to be the easiest. The packaging is hygienic, as the tube doesn't have a wand that you have to dip in and out like some glosses have.
The gloss itself is quite gloopy and sticky, but this means that it has quite good staying power (for a gloss!). ...
