...be many good reviews about Land of leather floating around here, so to balance things out a tiny bit, here's my experience of buying my sofa. ...year and found one in Land of Leather in the 'Pre xmas sale'. as if.. since then I'v been told there is no such thing, they just mark the items higher hoping people will buy them during the period before, and then drop the price knowing that more people look for these items during certain times of the year... regardless of that we did find what I thought was a great suite. We signed up for the finace option as this gave us the option to pay it off ...

Anyway here goes, I went to Land Of Leather on Boxing Day - they were extremely busy (seems a lot of other people got sucked in by Land of Leather’s ‘great offers’ on the TV). The manager promptly telephone me back to inform that I had to return a leather kit that was given as a gift or pay £45 although it was clearly marked on my reciept as free of charge. ...other stores we went to Land of Leather and found our new suite. We were told that there would be a £69 charge for delivery - as we were hiring a large van at £55 for the move anyway we decided we would collect the suite ourselves. When we arrived at the warehouse one of the workers (incidently is English was basic at best) cut a slit in the plastic covering the top of each piece ( at 3 seater, 2 seater, chair and foot stool) i was able to check ...
...one. The warehouse worker helped my partner and his brother put each piece on the van - each lay indiviudally nothing on top of the other as the van was large and empty. When we got to our new house we started to unpacked the 2 seater to find that it was completely broken. The actual seat sits about 1 - 1 1/2 inches above the ground attached to the side panels but in this case the seat had completely collapsed and the side panels were clearly away ...

..., i purchased on the land of leather site that saturday evening .The site was extremely simple to use and payment & details simple and quick.I paid £146 deposit at that time. It said 2 weeks delivery FOLLOW UP . On tuesday i recieved a phone call from a pleasant member of staff saying that it could be delivered tomorrow(wednesday). I was shocked at the speed after reading reviews on here as i was expecting to wait more than 2 weeks.So very thrilled ...
...or animals. CONCLUSION So don't be put off by all the negatives comments of others on here as some of us have had great service as i have and are very pleased with the land of leather, Also from buying saturday evening to delivery wednesday morning . Brilliant! ...

Seen all the bad reviews so I thought I would weigh them up with this one. I guess most people only ever write reviews when they have a bad experience as opposed to a good one. But to be honest, I checked out Harveys on the net and they had similar bad reviews across the board. So I guess it is the same everywhere. We went to DFS, Harveys plus others before deciding on our favourite sofas. Delivery times were a major factor in deciding which suite. ...

So we set about picking out one we both agreed on within our budget. I wish I had read some of these reveiws before I ordered our Leather suite from 'Land of Leather' I ordered our suite online on the Thursday before Easter - bargain £499.99 for a Javier 3 and 2 seater double recliner, then they added on the delivery and the insurance etc. Approx delivery time on the listing was 10 weeks, however I had a phone call the next day to confirm my order its then they told me it the expected delivery would be at the begining of July. IT'S NOW THE 9TH OF AUGUST, 18 WEEKS SINCE I ORDERED IT AND IT STILL HASN'T BEEN DELIVERED, NOR HAVE I HAD A TELEPHONE CALL TO CONFIRM A DELIVERY DATE. Does any one have any suggestions of how to hurry them along, Please??! ...
