As this cream is hypoallergenic and completely natural i was able to leave it on during the feeds, unlike most other creams which have to be washed off prior to latching baby on to the breast. I originally had another brand, which came in a pre-packed hospital bag. I soon realised that was useless (you even needed to wash it off your breasts before feeding, which seems mental). I had cracked and bleeding nipples after a few weeks of breastfeeding and was in pain every time I tried to feed. I was recommended this by my midwife and was initially very sceptical given my experience with the first cream. However, this worked like a charm, ...
