This is done by using well known instruments such as the piano, trumpet and drums, and lesser-know ones including the marimba, harp and cello. There are many early learning benefits, including language development, problem-solving, musical appreciation, and early reading skills. The book contains excellent instructions which are straightforward and easy to follow and there are suggestions on how to extend the learning process. There are three learning settings: "Music", "Word Play" and "Laugh & Learn", to vary the learning experience. Also provided are activity cards which have simple operating instructions and are intended to be used for independent learning. NB: it is essential to ensure that the book is firmly snapped into the Little Touch and the story cartridge is inserted correctly or the process will not work.
