Advantages Advantages Excellent value for money, educational, fun and versatile

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slides on laminate or tiled floors, parts break off

When our twin boys got to around 5 months old, Mr Lools and I realised we were going to start expanding our toy collection as we seemed to have a lot of soft rattles but not a lot else. As newbies to the parenting game we were clueless. By chance we noticed our local Asda store selling the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Bilingual Learning Table so we decided to purchase, which proved to be quite a smart purchase. ***LeapFrog Learn and Groove Bilingual Learning Table*** The LeapFrog Learn and Groove Bilingual Learning Table is described to be a “learning fiesta for your little one”. The table can be ... more

Advantages Advantages Quality built fun and educational toy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite expensive and quite big if you have a tiny house/flat

My step daughter bought this from Amazon as her big Christmas present for our little granddaughter. They have been living with us since November and when we were looking for Christmas presents this had a lot of positive reviews on Amazon and seemed to be the sort of toy that would provide more than five minutes of fun. She bought this along with a few other items from Amazon and I think she paid about £30. I have seen this or ones in different colour variations for about £25 since so have a good look before buying as prices seem to vary quite a lot. It takes 4 x C batteries which it came with ... more

Advantages Advantages Lots of fun and educational activities, Freddy loves it

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slips about a bit too much

At thirteen months, Freddy is slightly delayed in as far as his gross motor skills go, so I’ve been looking for toys that encourage him to stand. When I saw that Amazon were selling the Leapfrog Learn And Groove Activity Table at £20 below the manufacturer’s recommended retail price of £34.99, I couldn’t help but buy it. Freddy had loved his Learn and Groove Activity Station so I had high hopes that he would love this just as much. Groovy Baby - A Parent’s View The Leapfrog Learn And Groove Activity Station comes supplied in an oversized, open-faced cardboard box. Although it’s very easy to ... more

Advantages Advantages fun for all ages, educational

    Disadvantages Disadvantages hard to clean

Our daughter was 12 months old when we bought this for her for Christmas. We'd seen it in Toys R Us and it looked like a good, fun educational toy. The table is available in pink (which is the colour we chose as our little girl is pink mad), blue or green. It was priced at £35.99 in Toys R Us, which seems to be the typical retail price. It is widely available online and from most good toy stores. The good thing about the table is that you can use it alone as an activity centre, or slot the legs in to make it a table. The table is described as being suitable from six months to 2+ years. My ... more

Advantages Advantages A Huge Variety of Features, Activities & Songs for my Son to enjoy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Tricky to Clean some parts of it and Cheap Batteries don't work well in it

My 8 month old son is currently trying to master the art of standing up, he can't get himself into the standing position himself yet but if I stand him next to something eg. the sofa he will stand and hold onto it and usually play with things on it such as the TV remotes! So a little musical table that my son could stand and hold onto and play with its many features, seemed like a great idea! The Learn and Groove Musical Learning Table is by LeapFrog who are a well known pre-school toy manufacturer, so before we even tried the table out I was pretty confident that this was going to be a good ... more

Advantages Advantages a great educational toy

Disadvantages Disadvantages batteries wear out quickly

We were looking around to get our at the time six month old daughter an activity table as one of her Christmas presents. There are lots on the market, but the Leap Frog one stood out for a couple of reasons. It was a very reasonable price compared to some others, and the table seems to be jam packed with activities, where a lot of the other seemed to have basic functions. The activity table cost £29.99 from Tesco, but we managed to snap it up for £22.99 when Tesco had a promotion on toys. The table has eight different stations on it and each of these stations work in three different modes. The ... more

Advantages Advantages value for money, many songs to learn, sparkly lights, many activities.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages a little bulky

**INTRODUCTION** I was looking around for presents to buy Ethan for Christmas, I wanted something that would entertain him, keep him occupied, and something that would help teach him new things. I came across many things and the learning table looked just the thing, so I bought it. ** ABOUT THE TABLE** The table can be used as floor play or as a table, at the moment the table is used for floor play for Ethan as he cannot stand yet. The table as many activities and sounds for your child to learn and play. The table is also multi-language as you can switch it over to French, I guess this is a ... more

Advantages Advantages Encourages clear language, motor skills, variety of stimulation

Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes up a little room.

I love this toy! I know it was meant to be for my 1-year-old daughter but I love pressing all those different buttons just as much as she does. :-D It plays 50 songs and melodies in English and French. The lights are very bright and appealing to babies. There is a lot of different activities for the little ones some of them aimed at developing motor skills. The babies can spin, slide, push, pull, open and close things. The open and close especially goes down a treat with a small compartment underneath to hide treats in or sometimes Mummy's house key! Great is too that the instruments on the ... more

Advantages Advantages Teaches musical sounds and styles, shapes, English, French, alphabet and more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Easily detachable legs, takes room if allowing access to all sides at once

I first experienced this product when my nephew (now 3 years old) was born but it was not until my own son came along that I realised how good a product this toy is. The toy has two modes, music and alphabet in both English and French. We first gave this to my son when he was around 4 months old, placing the top of the table on the floor and leaving the legs off. He could not reach both sides as the table is too large for little arms at that age but he would be happy to play with the side he had and would flip the book to change modes for variety of sound. At that age he particularly liked the ... more

Advantages Advantages Great fun, lots of options, looks great

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None yet...

Very appealing packaging and lovely bright colours. This activity station can be used on the floor for your child to use, or has legs which are easily attachable to turn it into a table. There is a learning setting when each item that your baby uses will say something educational, for example, when pressing the piano keys, the red one will sing a note saying 'red' and so on. There is also a very catchy alphabet tune (unfortunately, you may find yourself singing this later on during your day!!) and a number song. The shapes will play drum noises and say out loud what shape they are. My daughter ... more
