Advantages Advantages Keeps baby entertained for hours!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price is quite high

AVAILABILITY AND PRICE ***************************** The Leapfrog Learn and Groove is brand new for 2005 and was only available in most of the shops from March. They retail at around £80 and are available from places like Mothercare and Argos. I bought mine from Argos online which cost me £85 including postage and packing. This does seem a little steep but one month on I'm already realising it was worth every penny. REASON FOR PURCHASE ****************************** M y daughter previously had a Fisherprice Deluxe Take Along Swing which was only usable until she was six months old so I was ... more

    Advantages Advantages Keeps baby entertained

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive

My sister in law bought this for my twins for christmas, I thought it was a bit expensive to be buying them but I didnt argue and now I am sooo glad I didnt. My children love this activity station, They go in it at least once everyday and they have so much fun. We got ours from Early learning centre and it cost around £80, which is quite expensive but definately worth every penny, I owe my sister in law big style for buying the babies this. ---Assembly--- My sister in law and her husband fixed this together and it took them around ten minutes - it comes wth easy to follow instructions. Advantages Advantages Keeps baby safe, happy & in one place, portable, wipe clean & washable

Disadvantages Disadvantages It is a large item / toy

We bought the Leap Frog Activity Station as an early Christmas present for our almost 4 month old son quite recently and I have to say it is our most valued item for him the house! The station itself looks a bit like a traditional sit-in baby walker but it's not. It is a stationery activity centre in which the baby sits/stands in the middle and is surrounded by an array of things to play with. It has five items/toys for your baby to play with: - Big colorful "Piano" keys - Sparkling disco ball - Record Player - Microphone - Song Book Baby can get at all of these because the seat in the middle ... more

    Advantages Advantages keeps baby entertained

Disadvantages Disadvantages can get uncomfortable for baby after a while

This is our nickname for Scarlett when shes in the learn and groove centre, poor kid she has a lot to put up with! Scarlett is an expert roller over and is on the brink of being able to crawl, so when we are not in the room or able to closely supervising her she needs a kind of 'holding' area. She's now a bit big for her bouncy chair and is able to sit up in it, so we needed to find another way of keeping her in a safe area, so that I could go to the toilet and not come down to find that she had eaten the computer wires. We looked into door bouncers, but there is a step down into our kitchen ... more

Advantages Advantages Keeps baby very entertained and safe

Disadvantages Disadvantages Is a bit cumbersome and awkward to 'flatpack'

With the rush of Christmas fast approaching we were looking around for ways to spoil our daughter on her first Christmas and found the LeapFrog Learn and Groove DJ Activity station - ideal as both her parents are DJs. It is a lovely activity station with 5 basic toy elements - record player, number piano, microphone, mirror ball and juke box which I will explain individually shortly. Alex hates lying down now and wants to be upright all the time - a bit of a pain when you are trying to do other things such as the chore that is housework - and this is where the Learn and Groove come into its ... more

Advantages Advantages Safe and great fun, teaches abc's and 1,2,3's.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive.

My dad bought this for our 7 month old girl's Christmas. She loves it! Unpacking and building*************** The 'donut' as i call it is very easy to set up, just click the three legs into the top part and thats the main bit done. Click all the music sections into their spaces on the top and hook the fabric seat onto the frame. Bingo! All set. Oh... batteries, three AA is what you will need, they are not supplied which was a bit of a bummer. If your learn and groove is all switched on with batteries and you find it doesnt work have a wiggle at the music sections that you had to plug in ... more

Advantages Advantages A fantastically entertaining product for baby that will last

Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite pricey, but worth it all the same

When my son turned 4 months old he started to get very frustrated because he was becoming more aware of the world around him, but wasn't able to participate in the way that he wanted! He hated lying on his back at this point; I would have to walk him around the house shaking toys at him, and I was running out of ideas. Then I found the Learn & Groove. This toy is absolutely fantastic. It is a complete playcentre for your baby that is suitable from 4 months until baby can walk. As you can see in the picture, it is a doughnut shape and baby sits in a soft padded seat in the centre. The product ... more
