...turn the radio on, DJ Leap welcomes you to Radio ‘K Frog’ and all the lights flash. There are two volume settings, although I find that the quiet one is still reasonably loud. DJ Leap has an English voice and is very enthusiastic, but after a while he does become annoying. Even my five year old, who has a much lower irritation threshold than me, found him a bit overpowering after a while.

Advantages: Small and easy to carry around Disadvantages: Basic
Leapfrog phonics radio Great for making phonics fun. Teaches letter sounds by singing catchy songs. Has volume control button and on and off button. You turn the pages to go through the different sounds of the alphabet. Not one of the best products out there but it's simple and catchy idea for pre- school age.
