...I decided to purchase the Lee Stafford miniature dry shampoo aerosol which is priced at £1.75 and it was only after waiting in line in the queue that I was advised it could not be used on the miniatures! Bugger! So I thought I may as well get it now I had waited since I had always wanted to try the stuff anyway but been reluctant to hand over money for something that I wasn't sure that would work! At least now my curiosity would be satisfied and ... ...compact size. As with the Lee Stafford range the aerosol can was bright pink so really girly. It says on the front that it's a dry shampoo and the instructions are on the back on how to apply it to your hair.

It was priced at an extortionate £5.98 from Boots for only a 150ml can. I had thought about buying the £1.75 smaller can however the shallow girl I am I went for the big can purely based on the nice eye-catching pink colour! ...ages, and when I spotted Lee Stafford dry shampoo for oily roots it sounded like the answer to my problems.
~What is it?~
This is a dry shampoo, which is basically a product that is supposed to keep your hair looking fresher for longer, so you have to wash it less frequently. As the back of the bottle puts it 'girl you are ready to go without having to blow' Ahem...yes.
~Using it~
This comes in the form of a spray, which when you spray over the ... ...As with the majority of Lee Stafford products this comes in a shocking pink can, with a dog logo. The packaging is quite funky and probably aimed at a younger market.
~Price~
This costs £4.99 for a 150ml can from Boots
~Overall Verdict~

...packaging particularly impressed me.
Lee Stafford's product got the hands down winner on the basis that it "really worked and smelt heavenly"
At £4.99 for 150ml (from Boots) compared to Batiste 150ml (£2.07 from Boots) it was definitely more pricey but I picked it up on eBay for considerably less. Plus the hot pink bottle definitely looks better in your bathroom than Batiste original which is old fashioned to say the least.

...for all hair types. Lee Stafford is a famous celebrity hairdresser with a string of salons and has launched a range of products. Inevitably, you pay somewhat for the branding for such products. The brand is all coloured in a vibrant pink so the products look fresh andfunky in your bathroom!
===The Product===
The dry shampoo comes in a metal aerosol can, with a pink plastic cap. The pump is pretty well presurised and the product comes out with some ... ...need to open a window if applying in a confined space, and quite distinctive. It's not an unpleasant smell but it doesn't really smell of anything - I would prefer a fresher, more fruity scent.
After applying, there is quite a lot of powder on your hair and you have to rub quite vigorously to blend it in - and be careful to ensure that you have got it all or you can look like you've got grey hair or something in your hair!

Advantages: Actually works! Smells fab, leaves your hair feeling wonderfully refreshed and ready for the day! Disadvantages: A little pricey, but worth the money in my opinion.
...buy the full size one, Lee Stafford now do miniature versions of most of their products in a lot of high street stores, so go for a small one! It's perfect for travelling too! I've used it on holiday before when I didnt have time to wash my hair properly every day, so it's perfect to use when you're having one of those 'in-between' hair days! Basically, this is the best dry shampoo by far that I've ever used and I would definately recommend it to ...

Advantages: high quality, leaves hair looking like you've just washed it. Disadvantages: at first i was unsure about the smell, but it fades quite quickly. apart from that, none!

...quite nice. However, the waste of money was a major blow especially as I use the Lee Stafford shampoo and conditioner and they're amazingly good.
I haven't tried any other dry shampoos so I am unable to recommend an alternative but I wouldn't recommend this one especially at £3-£5. ...
